- It's tough to get further out of my wheelhouse than an envelope filter. Fast attack and release settings, the "quacky" vibe of it all... it just seems like it could not be further afield from how I play guitar. But GFI has never been a company that takes the obvious approach so today we're taking a long hard look at the ROSSIE filter as an ambient soundscaping tool. Lets took at the wonderfully versatile manual filter, the randomizable step filter, and even the traditional envelope filter and see how the GFI approach to these settings can be applied to washy, ambient compositions.

It’s a really great early in the chain filter. Especially with that Q turned way down it becomes super gentle and useable for more than just auto wah
The HP+LP envelope filter you had set up with high Q almost sounds like a phaser version of tape warble, I could listen to this forever

I'm trying to find a pedal that could act as a full range sweepable synth High pass filter/Band pass filter with an expression pedal (Like the Moog MF-101 LPF). I tried asking GFI and they didn't have a great answer? Is this possible?
Ugh...right when I thought I had my ambient board all dialed in. I do have a Terraform on the board. I'll have to play around with the auto wah and envelope filter on that since they're largely ignored.

let me get this strait, if I buy a Tempus, it would do all these sounds the Rosie can do + more correct?
