- Our Land Rover Defender camper is being shipped from Australia to South Africa.
Whilst this is happening we decided to fly to Jordan and hike the Jordan Trail.
The Jordan Trail is a 675km walking track that runs the entire length of the country.
We hope you enjoy the first video in this series.
Join us as we travel the world overland, exploring the cultures and traditions of all the countries we visit.
In our Land Rover Defender camper which is our full time home we will take you rock climbing, hiking and exploring across all the continents on this planet.

Guys I am one of the founders of the Jordan trail, when i started scouting the northren part to set the GPS on the internet i dreamt of people just walking it and ejoying what i saw and loved in my country.
Watching this video and seeing you guys enjoying the best of what our country has to offer (its poeple and their kindness) (the history splashing every kilometer of the trail and country) (the sceanery and nature) and the combination of all of those tihngs.
This making me very emotional, Thank you for sharing this, thank you so very much for sharing this.
This journey makes me so emotional watching it. What beautiful people the Jordanians are.

I am always amazed at how many super friendly and outgoing folks you meet on your travels!! SO many people watch the news and think the world is full of awful folks.. in reality its PACKED FULL of AWSOME people who show friendship and welcome you in with Reckless Hospitality (coined phrase I was on another channel)... The world is so full of Beautiful people!!!

My son and I were there last week. Amazing.
Certainly can't complain about the hospitality, except for the dogs.
One of my favorites videos of yours--so enjoyable to see a country new to me and meet its people!
So enjoyed your film. Did the trail last October, the dogs were worst in the north!!
Yes you're absolutely right. So intense for the northern section then slowly gets better until almost none for the final sections 😊
What an epic start to this series. Stay safe. ❤🇦🇺🦘
Love the hiking vids guys… great editing Steph!
Thank You so much 😊
And again a next level of story telling and editing. Super interesting, i didn’t know that a trail like this is existing in Jordan. Merci!

Hard core trails. Beautiful country.
You guys are literally living a dream! Much love and support from me and my family, here in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England x
You two are the best! Im so happy you find ways to keep making your journey new and interesting over the years.
The locals are beautiful people. This trek will be awesome. 🌏🇦🇺☺
4:45 a Hyundai Lantra 1997/1998 model I think. One of those was my first car!
this is so cool !!!! you should make more of this hiking highlight !
Two or three more videos to come, stay tuned 😊
great trip guys, great people!
The folks in Jordan are amazing! The dogs however are another story….😳😊
The thru hike? Of course!! I was on a hike in Lesotho one time and the dogs around the herds were really trouble.
Wow,,, No bull shit this is great stuff 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much mate 😊
So very interesting. Hope the hike is not too strenuous as there is such a lot to see and experience. Go safe and slow !
Steefy really got afraid i worried for her i feel she was going to cry from dogs ❤
Amazing
Beautiful! Can't believe you guys log a big camera equipment to make this documentary. Already followed you in real time on IG and was hoping for more in-depth footage. So thanks a lot!
Glad you appreciate the effort. 😄 not too many footage of both of us walking because it adds extra walking to go and get the camera. Hahaha
Wow, I'd love to be able to do this but unfortunately my ill health and 7 kids prevent me from even attempting, we do get to Scotland quiet a bit, but how terrified did poor Stephie look
Amazing. Beautifully edited as well. It really tells a very very good story.
Thank you 😊
Shocked to hear you talk about there still being only 80K's marked... Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
That the info we had from friends 😉 So at this point that’s what we expected. But I think it stopped around salt. Even with the markers we had to constantly check on the maps. 😅
Awesome guys, pumped to see the rest of the episodes!!
Magic adventure
I would have lost it with the dogs
D
Just Awesome
This is amazing! I hope one day I can do this.
Outstanding as always! Thank you so much for all you share with us. My bucket list is growing!
Watching the both of you, brings me so much joy 🥹
Thank You
Friendly people....planning to visit this November or December
What an amazing experience.
Amazing journey - thanks for sharing
Super, belle vidéo, et des gens vraiment très sympa. Bon courage pour la suite. 🥰😘
Bellissimo posto❤
Ils sont si accueillant ❤
Hi guys I hope you packed some 3B sweat rash cream…. Fantastic people and the views are good to they go out of there way for people who are visiting
Leaving life on the edge. Did not bring the cream. Leigh’s parents won’t be able to find us on the trail neither. 🤪
Looks amazing and locals seem very friendly...although just wondering whether you feel obligated to offer something in return to the hospitality...I mean are these folks just waiting around to offer tourists tea and like ?
Great to see your new adventure, always great content well done you two. Is it just me or does Leigh look like a young John nettles from midsummer murders?
Thank you 😊 Now I need to look up John Nettles 😜
Great series so far!
Amazing videos like always. For the dogs, there are some kind of ultrasound devices, that would help in case they get to close... Better then rocks ;)
I was wondering about that. But we had no idea about the dogs before going. No way we could have found it on the track. Throwing rocks at the dogs doesn’t mean aiming for the dogs.
@@GrizzlyNbearOverland I guessed so for the stone's ;) just thought, maybe you can ship that item to the closest town ;)
👏👏👏👍👍👍
Remember us? The Old Coach Road. We are watching your superb show on the Jordanian track. It's very entertaining and we are beyond impressed with your work. Regards Guy and Carly
Of course we remember you guys!!! How are you doing? Having fun with the Suzuki ? Thank You for your message. Very nice.
@GrizzlyNbear Overland you've inspired Carly to do the Jordan trail in 2025 with a couple of her friends. Too hard for me! Carly wants me to tell you that all the nurses at the clinic are following you.
As to your question re the Suzuki...itsnbeen too hot and humid do do much. Winter approaches. We make good video. Promise.
Wheres the rest of the trip? Am I not doing something to see it? I'm watching with tears pouring down my face as I did this last year ..so many memories....
Omg. Fantastic. Stay tuned. Another 3 episodes probably.
OK.. seems not all at once..watching every one...
Glad you are back on the road and tasting the Palestinian hospitality! Looking forward to watch your upcoming videos, hopefully with less dogs!
Thank You. But more dogs.
Nice of the Jordan tourist board to pay for all your expenses.
رائع. قريبا سوف افعل ذلك في بلدي الاردن 🇯🇴
Welcome to Saudi Arabia.
Love what you are doing and sharing with us. Are you planing to vizit Israel ? if you do, my home is u`r home in Rishon Le Zion city
One day for sure we will. Thank You. But not in a near future.
The herb Hassan puts in the tea is Hyssop, not Thyme.
He told us Za’atar. Smells and tastes like thyme. But looks different than the thym I Ve seen in France
@@GrizzlyNbearOverland Yes, it's a different herb. Za'atar is actually the name of the mixture they used of the dried Hyssop with sesame seeds and salt.
Yes. You are right. But it didn’t take away the beauty of the people and the beauty of the landscape. We decided to close our eyes and not focus on the issue. We know it comes from a lack of infrastructures for most of it. Later south in the track, it got better.
You guys need to ride bikecycles from the east coast of US to west coast about 3,300 miles nothing like it on planet earth!!!!
Ok. Bucket list then but before that we has PCT, CDT, AT.
I enjoyed the video so much. Love that you are enjoying the Jordanian people. I am from israel and the views are quite similar. If you plan on visiting israel do tell and ill arrange a grand toure for you.
What an epic journey! Congratulations on making the pilgrimage. You see more of the way of life on foot. 👍🏻🙏🦘
