Thank you so much! These comments & your support mean a lot to me!!
That's some serious hiking. I would be worried about getting lost, but I'm all for less crowded paths!
Yes, we were definitely worried many times and were relieved when we were on the right path. Hope this video will help others not feel the way we did! It was a very tiring day of hiking, but so worth it
Very useful tips!
Glad it was helpful! Petra is beautiful!
Thank you for this, I was wondering how to do the backdoor.
So glad you found this helpful! Thank you for your support & hope you have a great trip!!
Great video you have inspired me to go here
So glad!! It’s amazing. Hope you enjoy my other vids on Jordan!
Welcome
Awsome vid! , we just booking trip to Jordan and I m going to watch your next ep. So this give me an idea to park car front of visitor Petra center as you mentioned that was free shuttle to back entrance Petra right?? Read some ppl have to pay for taxi+scam jeep to reach that entrance.
Thank you!!! Just finished the Jordan full itinerary video and it’ll be up in the morning (every Saturday 8am EST!) YES you can drive and park at the visitors center. We stayed near the entrance so we walked over from our hotel in the morning.
In your video you mentioned that when you got on the back entrance trail you saw signs for Little Petra. Is Little Petra close by or a long walk? How many km or how long a walk to Little Petra?
nice vlog mam
Thank you, glad you enjoyed!
Yes..starting front the back door aka little petra is a very wise choice…we went there last week…after park our car at the car park…we take a taxy to little petra and taking a jeep from little petra is a very wise decision
So glad you agree, we thought so too! We were so glad we did Little Petra. Thank you for watching & your support!
I been there it’s beautiful country 😊
Yesss so beautiful! Can’t wait to go back one day
Nice! I already go here also ma’am & trying my best of editing all of the videos, soon to upload.
How wonderful! Hope your trip is amazing!
@@felisaxo yes I really enjoy pertra, thanks ma’am
Great video! I am planning a trip to Jordan with my kids. Do you think it is ok to do with 7y and 9y olds? It sometimes looks as if you can fall down the cliffs 😂
Yes, I saw other kids there. The paths are pretty spacious but I would just be careful when the donkeys walk by!
@9:00 After you paid for the guide to take you up for the best view of the treasury...how long is the hike up for the best view? How many minutes?
You lost me at "9-10 mile hike". This is too much for me. Thanks for the tip.
Leaving in 4 weeks for Jordan! 🎉
Hahahah it was definitely long and cold and hot, but we thought it was worth the hike :P the main entrance is a good option if the back door is not your thing :) hope you enjoyed Jordan!!
Hello. Heading to Jordan in a few weeks. just have some questions. Where did you hire your driver from? Which tour did you use for your bubble hotel as the Private Jordan Tour does only the Bedouin tents.. Sorry..
I have to say THANK YOU to your videos! amazing stuffs!
Thank you! Sorry,I thought I included it in my video, it was $900usd and here's more info: instagram.com/reel/CoGk60tqP1n/

@@felisaxo thank you so much!!!
Not quite following the logic of in and out "doubling" your time, being a shorter route than the back door. It's possible for "double" of a short route to still be less distance and strain (7.5 miles RT) than a thru hike such as what is being proposed (8-9 miles RT) not including the additional elevation gain/loss.
Were there golf carts you could take instead of donkeys? How was the weather in December?
Yes, there are for only certain stretches of the hike at the beginning. It is cold so definitely wear layers as it gets warm in the sun (cold air, beating sun). Hope this helps!
Great video but it’s not possible for me enter for the main entrance and exit to the back door? That way I can get to the treasure and Monastery earlier!!!! Thanks
Yes, it is possible. You can enter through main entrance and exit the back door!
@@felisaxo thank you !!!
Thank you for
Sharing. How much was the hiring a driver? Did he wait and stayed everywhere with you guys?
Yes! He stayed in the area each night and we texted him whenever we were done for him to pick us up. He has a portable wifi for you to use too!
@@felisaxo i around how much was your driver USD?
Ahh! I thought I included it in my video, but it was $900usd and here's all the info: instagram.com/reel/CoGk60tqP1n/
Those are the Royal Tombs.
Ooooh thank you!!!
What a great video… I’ll be there next week and I have a question for you. What transportation from the airport to the hotel did you use? Did you booked throughout the hotel (Aretas)? If so, can you tell me if they asked you for the copy of your passport? I’m kinda concern because I booked with them and they are asking me for that… they said it’s for the driver to prove that he has a reason to get into the airport…
Thank you! We hired a private driver for our entire trip who picked us up at the airport. We did send copies of our passport to the company that organized the driver
Thank you so much! You’re very nice to answer my question… I felt a little concern because of the passport situation. Now you gave me peace knowing that is a normal thing to do and give them that information..
would you mind sharing the driver/company Information.. we’re going to Wadirum as well and maybe is more convenient to have a private driver for the whole trip…
Once again, thank you so much!!
Thank you! Sorry, I thought I included it in my video, here's more info: instagram.com/reel/CoGk60tqP1n/

Hi, u said after Petra your driver is waiting for you, what time you checkout of hotel on that day? Cause if the driver is waiting for you at 3 pm, where are your luggage’s? Thank u
Our hotel, Petra Aretas, let us store the luggage and our driver met us at the hotel which is only 5 mins from the entrance. Highly recommend!! I think pretty much all hotels there will let you store :)
@@felisaxo thanks your video is very informative, i appreciate the work you put in it
You were at the sacrifice alter
Thank you
Did you hire a driver to take you to Wadi Rum via the hotel?
It was the same driver who took us everywhere, we organized it with the company beforehand so the driver knew where to take us each day
Does mobile network work there?
Yes pretty much, AT&T network
visit philippines 🎉
Would love to go back!! I’ve been to Manila, Palawan & Cebu. Loved El Nido!!
U didn’t include Petra by night in 2day it itinerary
Correct, we decided not to do it as we did not have the time and it did not align with the days it is available. We've read mixed reviews and didn't think it was worth it for us but it does look cool if you have the time!
It’s illegal to go up on the view point
Is it? Not if you’re with one of the guides
