Joel Daggenhart I know right! 😭 I had just left school when this was released... now I’m engaged with my own place and career in the military. God damn I miss the simple life 😂
The fossil of the giant Mudcrab is actually part of a quest. Go to Froki's Shack in The Rift and he gives you a quest called Kyne's Sacred Trials. You have to defeat sacred animal guardians. If the quest is active, you can see the ghost of the guardian mudcrab when you approach the fossil which you have to defeat.
A few minor corrections: The giants do not worship the nine divines. Anything left at the shrines comes from pilgrims. For example, the speech skill book, the rolls of paper and the gold at the shrine of Zenithar are sacrifices to invoke Zenithar's guidance, as he is the divine of traders, bards and merchants. Also, the dragon dropped guard is the guard that gets dropped by Odahviing from the balcony of Dragonsreach when you summon him during the main quest line.
The horse found at the skooma addicts smuggler's den just below Whiterun has become one of my favorite 'mapping tools' early in a new character run...if you steal it, you can ride it into many towns and cities and it doesn't appear as stolen to anyone. Also, if you dismount, it will return back to Whiterun, but at a walk, so you can easily sprint to re-mount it. Love your series, I subbed a few days ago and have been consuming every video you've got; many smiles and guffaws ever since!

The Skeleton in the water under the Dragonreach bridge has a simple in game explination. One of the various letters and notes inMaven Black-Briar's rooms indicates she had someone killed and the body disposed of there.
I feel that "moby the mammoth" could be a star wars reference too, when Luke Skywalker sleeps inside a tauntaun as the skeleton is whole (rather than being in pieces, i dont think a mammoth could swallow a human or elf) and looks like its sleeping. Maybe someone tried to use a mammoth carcass to keep warm .... but it didnt work? lol Thanks for the video! :)
I'm pretty certain the rock in Cradlecrush Rock was from the eruption of the Red Mountain in 4E 5. That's where we got the Sleeping Tree Camp from, which is also a giant's camp. I think the trees are in the right place as well.
The Candlecrush Rock is a "flyttblock" or, "jättekast" in old Nordic mythology. When the ice of the ice age melted, it left behind huge rocks scatterd around the country side. The old nords believed they were thrown by angry giants(jättar). Greetings from Sweden

I just found out your channel and I have to say that this series is really well made. I also have to mention this catchy name, just wonderful job, keep it up.
They way you are talking about these curiosities is very enjoyable, at least for me :) Naturally you have deserved my subscribe :) Have fun in your creativeness and good luck in your future endeavors.
I disagree with Mobi the mamoth simply because a mamonth cant swallow a human it must chew it first and we can see a whole intact skeleton inside him so I believe it was put there after the mamoth was dead OR maybe someone tried to hide in the carcass of a dead mamoth to shelter from a snowstorm or very cold weather but unfortunately he or she died because of the cold. PS I love the serie!
Painted cow: a random encounter that you can come across on the road is a farmer with a painted cow. If you talk to him he explains that he's delivering the cow to the Giants. When you ask about the markings he explains that the cow is painted to signify to the Giants that the cow is an offering so they won't attack his livestock for the rest of the year.
I believe the those shrine we place by merchants before entering the city to do business. Since Whiterun is the center for trade and Zeninthar is the patron of commerce and wealth.
You really deserve more Subscribers/Viewers its unbelivable how much work this takes. You are by far the best UA-camr if found in a looong time! :) Keep up the good work.
27:19, Those cows are sacrificial cows villagers bring to the giants in exchange for peace. While wandering about, you will occasionally come across a farmer walking a live painted cow. When you ask him about the cow, he tells you it's an offering to the giants, and is how they maintain an uneasy peace with the giants. I've usually encountered him by Rorikstead or East Southeast of Whiterun along the road past the brewery.
My good god man you are hilarious, most times I'm impressed by a video making me laugh stupidly once... You had me laughing like a moron a good 10+ times. (Must be the Aussie genes) STRAYA!
At Candle Crush Rock, the tree stumps around the massive boulder suggests that it was a sort of dead fall trap that some stupid explorers fell for. The giants probably placed some valuables under the rock as bait hence the lockbox. As soon as one of the explorers saw the rock starting to slip he picked up the box and made a dive away from the rock which ended up crushing his lower half anyways
Wrong kind of stone. However, it could have fallen from something like a floating island that might have dropped a spore that grew a crazy tree in Whiterun.
With the cow that has been painted. If you are lucky you can find a farmer walking around with a live painted cow saying he needs to "make an offering"
Just of Noteworthy mention, - Zenither is the god of work and commerce, so that my say something about the offerings found. - I love your theory on the giant crab (That Crab is also a link to a mission you receive from Froki in Froki's Shack. - The Equipable knife and fork is 1 of 2 sets, the other is found in honeyside (Riften home, when you buy the porch upgrade) - And Finally, The Painted cow! There is a chance as a world encounter that you will find a giant and a painted cow, The painted cow is actually a peace offering given from farmers to the giants so they can leave peacefully p.s. Keep up the good work Camel.
The cow with the markings is an offering to the giants from a farmer to stop the giants attacking his livestock. I ran into him taking the still alive cow to the giants quite early on in the game once.
Maybe noone threw the rock (last curiosity). Maybe the three adventurers (with the aid of technology, magic or giants) lifted that rock on top of the three trees to build something, like a treehouse or a trap. But it fell down on them.
At a little past the 27 min mark you mention a cow with giant tribal markings. That is not the only cow with tribal markings. Somewhere in the Whiterun I encountered a farmer guiding a cow with tribal markings to be a sacrifice to the giants. I believe if you follow him, both him and the cow are killed by giants. Great video!
Some of these I haven found yet after at least 500 hours :) And that compass thing, I'm from *Scandinavia* and we have them in the forest's. They are usually placed where someones lands end and they are placed so you can figure out the direction. I see them when I hunt and they come in handy as landmarks :) Some of them are indeed very old!!
I think the rock might me to do with the civil war.. One of the skeletons is wearing the scaled helmet, which is a common piece of armor within the stormcloaks. The rock might've been launched by a catapult.
Great vid! So many things in Whiterun hold to think about and use your imagination to figure out what happened. Once more, excellent work on the vid and hope you're doing good.
TheFlygonproductions Thank you very much my good friend! I am doing well but my computer got hit with a huge electrical surge and has put Camelworks out of action for awhile
With Moby the Mammoth I always thought that someone crawled in there for shelter before dying. Or perhaps it is an Empire Strikes Back reference where someone cut it open and crawled inside for warmth, but unlike Luke and Han, he was never found, and died. Just a couple theories I came up with. Keep up the great vids man!
Um take humans and compare their sizes relatively to the proportions of the rock and giant now what if you had a rock the same size as the bolder to a human would a group of humans be able to throw it
***** it wasnt a group of peole, its only one person that got smashed, you can see that there is 2 legs in the back and the rest of the guys is in the front, its supposed to be humoristic
22:55 That guard will only appear after you call odahviing in the main questline, as you can see before the quest the guard/blood isn't there. but after ward, odahviing will grab a guard and throw them off the cliff. so when you go back te guard will be there.
The guard at the foot of Dragonreach is only there AFTER you've completed the Dragon Trapping Quest. He's the guard the dragon grabs and drops before you can subdue him. That's how genius Bethesda is!
My guess for how the alchemist ended up there- he went to the Giants camp in hopes of getting Giant toes but realized the Giants were to hard to kill and ran from them but was not fast enough and was launched but one of the Giants and landed on the rocked
There are 2 different dead alchemists, if you recall. Storm edits is talking about the one on the rock below the waterfall. I think lillildipsy blank is talking about the one at the giant's feet at Cradlecrush Rock. A very minor mixup, no need for name calling.
With the cow... its actually not the only one. In a random encounter you can come across a farmer being followed by a cow with the same markings. If you talk to him he will tell you that he is offering the cow to the giants so it will leave his farm alone. Now if you follow the farmer to the nearest giant camp, the giants will attack the farmer and send him flying and the cow will be unharmed
I find that in Skyrim there are a lot of unexplained rocks that seem to have fallen out of nowhere, such as in the waters, the boats seem to have been broken and buried under rocks, I'm thinking they're rocks that have fallen from the sky either in the eruption or maybe during some war where the rocks were catapulted, or dropped by dragons maybe. Some are probably from falling mountain rocks as we've seen in Winterhold. Not sure, but definitely something about rocks falling for some reason.

UberNerdGaming Thanks man I think there is 2! We will see them soon :)
"smugglers den is inhabited by 2 bandits"
meanwhile in my save my genesis bugged out and theres about 30 of them there
The Skeleton in the water under the Dragonreach bridge has a simple in game explination.
Wow, I love this series! So many things I had never encountered or completely passed over in other playthroughs. Thanks for the great video!
Looking back to this, you've come a long way, Camel!
I'm pretty certain the rock in Cradlecrush Rock was from the eruption of the Red Mountain in 4E 5. That's where we got the Sleeping Tree Camp from, which is also a giant's camp. I think the trees are in the right place as well.
4 years of time spent playing skyrim, and yet I have seen maybe 10% of the things in this video
beekepr1 Awesome, love to hear that man! Glad I can show you something new :)
4 years? Noob
@@Kostadin_Arolski This old game was old 4 years ago lol
@@Kostadin_Arolski reading comprehension, not your skill. His comment is 5 years ago. This means he played every year for the first 4 years.. noob
The giant mud crab is the location of the mud crab guardian spirit in the trials of kyne
I love these series! Please do more!
The Candlecrush Rock is a "flyttblock" or, "jättekast" in old Nordic mythology. When the ice of the ice age melted, it left behind huge rocks scatterd around the country side. The old nords believed they were thrown by angry giants(jättar).
Greetings from Sweden
bloody box... god dammit camel....
Black Metal King Hehehe
Black Metal King oh god.....
It's amazing what you can find in this game years after it was released! I love your series
Isaac Baker It truly is awesome what is hiding around.

Fought Karstaag. Had Vilkas. Vilkas tried to be bad ass. Got sent to space. 30 seconds after I beat Karstaag Vilkas walked through the door. He was so much help.
+Camelworks 16:16 Maybe it's vanished because of the Lund's wife couldn't go to Sovngard without Lund. And she came to his dream and then he killed himself. But he loved skewers so much and because of that he too couldn't go to Sovngard. So maybe that's why the hat vanished. It was the meaning of the Lund's wife can't go to Sovngard
+Camelworks the giant mudcrab was just greedy...probably ate some adventures..and a giant
+Camelworks SORRY FOR DA SECOND COMMENT BUT THE MARKINGS ON THE COW SHOW ITS AN OFFERING...(sorry caps) a random encounter i got was a man and a cow like that taking it to the giants so they left them alone...they said i could not come along
Camelworks Usually i love ur vids, but this one was kinda boring...
As always a gewat and informative video. I played Skyrim for 500+ hours and keep learning new things becuase of you. Thanks for that and i hope you keep making your videos so great.
Rick Faassen Awesome man, glad I could show you something new :)
I just found out your channel and I have to say that this series is really well made. I also have to mention this catchy name, just wonderful job, keep it up.
Peeacu Thank you very much. Glad I could present these hidden details of Skyrim in a well crafted manner.
They way you are talking about these curiosities is very enjoyable, at least for me :) Naturally you have deserved my subscribe :) Have fun in your creativeness and good luck in your future endeavors.
Asked for this last week, and BAM, heres a 30 minute video, nice work camel!
SniffableEnd Gaming Thats how I rolllllllll
I disagree with Mobi the mamoth simply because a mamonth cant swallow a human it must chew it first and we can see a whole intact skeleton inside him so I believe it was put there after the mamoth was dead OR maybe someone tried to hide in the carcass of a dead mamoth to shelter from a snowstorm or very cold weather but unfortunately he or she died because of the cold.
PS I love the serie!
Arsen Schultz The human must have crawled up his ass.
Camelworks Maybe, who knows? :D
Or maybe the mammoth fell on top of them...
Isaac Baker Hhahahaha, I hope you mean fell backwards ;)
Camelworks Lol, anyway the teory of a mamoth eating a human is wrong because mamoth were herbivores :)
AzulGatos41 That is a pretty good explanation.
Camelworks Thank you. I know a thing or two about skyrim.
You really deserve more Subscribers/Viewers its unbelivable how much work this takes. You are by far the best UA-camr if found in a looong time! :) Keep up the good work.
gehirnmuffin98 Thank you ever so much mate! There is days of time and work goes into these videos :) Glad you are enjoying them mate!
In 16:34 I think they are skooma dealers. If you open the locked chest it will appear more bandits.
There is also a note to read that talks about the skooma trade.
(Must be the Aussie genes) STRAYA!
jackson edwards Haha awesome dude, glad I could make you laugh your arse off :)
At Candle Crush Rock, the tree stumps around the massive boulder suggests that it was a sort of dead fall trap that some stupid explorers fell for. The giants probably placed some valuables under the rock as bait hence the lockbox. As soon as one of the explorers saw the rock starting to slip he picked up the box and made a dive away from the rock which ended up crushing his lower half anyways
maybe the rock is from when red mountain erupted
Adam Fletcher That is my fav theory!
Wrong kind of stone. However, it could have fallen from something like a floating island that might have dropped a spore that grew a crazy tree in Whiterun.
Kevin Sullivan Welp Skyrim is stage place
With the cow that has been painted. If you are lucky you can find a farmer walking around with a live painted cow saying he needs to "make an offering"
I. LOVE. THIS. SERIES!!!
DoubleMeTwo Thanks you, I love doing this series :)
There's a ruined house that has a bed you can sleep in near The Western Watchtower.
"I suppose this is a lesson to always wear heavy armor, for his light armor didn't do shit for him..."
bru I'm dead
Just of Noteworthy mention,
- Zenither is the god of work and commerce, so that my say something about the offerings found.
- I love your theory on the giant crab (That Crab is also a link to a mission you receive from Froki in Froki's Shack.
- The Equipable knife and fork is 1 of 2 sets, the other is found in honeyside (Riften home, when you buy the porch upgrade)
- And Finally, The Painted cow! There is a chance as a world encounter that you will find a giant and a painted cow, The painted cow is actually a peace offering given from farmers to the giants so they can leave peacefully
p.s. Keep up the good work Camel.
Anthony Nader Thanks man! I will keep up the good work :)
A fudgemuppet/camelworks collab video would be awesome.
Samsung Shoebrain we need a Tamriel Online review between them 2
The cow with the markings is an offering to the giants from a farmer to stop the giants attacking his livestock. I ran into him taking the still alive cow to the giants quite early on in the game once.
And here we have the bloody box, and I don't mean your girlfriend every mon- *static* HAHAHA
+SheathUnsheath Hehe glad you enjoyed it :)
Make ur own post were enjoying the bloodybox joke. And to shit on ur parade someone did just that got more attention and a reply from camelwork.
the art on the cow is used for offerings to giants, you can see farmers taking some cows to the giants.
I was looking for this comment
Camel casually dropping propreantepenultimate as if we know what that means.
Candlecrush Rock theory... it's a reference to Morrowind lore, the Tribunal and the meteor thrown by Sheogorath
Mike Chladek it's not even called "candlecrush" it a cradlecrush
Sorry... autocorrect lol
Maybe noone threw the rock (last curiosity). Maybe the three adventurers (with the aid of technology, magic or giants) lifted that rock on top of the three trees to build something, like a treehouse or a trap. But it fell down on them.
19:55 This may be a reference to the horror movie The Ring if you think about it
The giant mudcrab is one of the locations used in the token of kyne side quest. At the smuggler's cave, more bandits show up when you loot the chest.
I think that huge rock was a meteor that landed on them, nothing could have been able to throw that thing....
Candlecrush rock? No, it's Cradlecrush rock.
30:05 THERE'S A SHADOW MARK ON DRAGONSREACH HOLY CRAP! It's so obvious, considering i is part of the actual architecture of the building. That's cool
Hannah Shore What? Whats a Shadowmark? What even...wha?
Edit: NVM
Hannah Shore What does that one mean?
The giant crab is apart of a side quest were you need to kill some spirit animals. most of which are larger than there usually counterparts.
I think the rock might me to do with the civil war.. One of the skeletons is wearing the scaled helmet, which is a common piece of armor within the stormcloaks. The rock might've been launched by a catapult.
The helmet is eleven on mine.
Black flames31 Helmet by level, higher level, better helmet
Black flames31 Mine was twelve
Ah well I'll have to head back there and see, I haven't gone their in a. Long while
Pinking Gaming
I was lvl 81 and i got a scaled helmet.
"A table, a fire, a horse, a cart and a whole bunch of other shit" -Camel 2015
Lucas Roux Hahaha just a giant pile of other shit.
0:44 the map misspelled Rorikstead
Brother, you are very funny and entertaining, this is a very nice series indeed, big love from Romania!
What if someone had some sick telekinesis skills and threw that rock
I think it was a meteorite.
immoralnight98 Maybe a group of giants got the rock and threw it at the group. Then the other giants just left.
Um take humans and compare their sizes relatively to the proportions of the rock and giant now what if you had a rock the same size as the bolder to a human would a group of humans be able to throw it
Also there would be a much larger crater than that if that was a meteor
***** it wasnt a group of peole, its only one person that got smashed, you can see that there is 2 legs in the back and the rest of the guys is in the front, its supposed to be humoristic
22:55 That guard will only appear after you call odahviing in the main questline, as you can see before the quest the guard/blood isn't there. but after ward, odahviing will grab a guard and throw them off the cliff. so when you go back te guard will be there.
Great vid. Would you ever do some lore videos?
Ross C Yeah I would, not extensive long one but kind short informative one.
Ross C Go to Shoddycast. They have a lot of skyrim and fallout lore videos.
The guard at the foot of Dragonreach is only there AFTER you've completed the Dragon Trapping Quest. He's the guard the dragon grabs and drops before you can subdue him. That's how genius Bethesda is!
My guess for how the alchemist ended up there- he went to the Giants camp in hopes of getting Giant toes but realized the Giants were to hard to kill and ran from them but was not fast enough and was launched but one of the Giants and landed on the rocked
the alchemist was not on a rock
There are 2 different dead alchemists, if you recall. Storm edits is talking about the one on the rock below the waterfall. I think lillildipsy blank is talking about the one at the giant's feet at Cradlecrush Rock. A very minor mixup, no need for name calling.
With the cow... its actually not the only one. In a random encounter you can come across a farmer being followed by a cow with the same markings. If you talk to him he will tell you that he is offering the cow to the giants so it will leave his farm alone. Now if you follow the farmer to the nearest giant camp, the giants will attack the farmer and send him flying and the cow will be unharmed
dude your amazing!!!!
+mor cohen Thank you very much my friend, glad you enjoyed it!
i sure did:)
+The red dragon emperor don yeah eso
I find that in Skyrim there are a lot of unexplained rocks that seem to have fallen out of nowhere, such as in the waters, the boats seem to have been broken and buried under rocks, I'm thinking they're rocks that have fallen from the sky either in the eruption or maybe during some war where the rocks were catapulted, or dropped by dragons maybe. Some are probably from falling mountain rocks as we've seen in Winterhold. Not sure, but definitely something about rocks falling for some reason.
half our !! man ur a beast
ThePuppymaster Haha I had a beastly 9 and half hours of footage to smelt down into this 30 minute video!
damn you're good
