@@hansoto120 Hi, Yeah Luca is great too. I started with Marcin Patrzalek, my opinion he is best in pecusive style while playing fingerstyle. Luca plays sometimes 2 guitars at the same time - incredible, but Alexander is also a master of fingerstyle and like Marcin plays a bit percusive. I gonna look for the other masters of fingerstyle, any ideas?

Those are actually special tuners that have stops on them. It doesn't make it any less amazing though.

There are many professionals who do it often. And he's tuning it so easily cause there are banjo pegs on his guitar (and machines for microtuning from violin). Banjo pegs can do fixation of tuning with two bolts. That's all the secret.

He has banjo tuners on the guitar. They allow for him to do a detune and retune exactly how it was before

It is impressive, and very cool and expressive, although certainly not even close to a new thing. Banjo players have been doing it for around a century. It is done by using tuners that have the ability to have stops set at certain intervals, which literally stop the tuner from turning at two different points for accuracy and ease. The result is an added level of expression we commonly don't see on guitar, but it still is extremely common in the banjo world.

I would check out Edgar Cruz, Andy McKee and Justin King as well if you like his stuff. Though Alex is the first guitarist I've seen mess with the tuning while playing. Bravo there.

It's more patience, hard work and dedication to a skill more than "a gift". This definition denies the amount of work that artists put into their art :) Skill was a good definition because he worked for it.
I, too, found him due to an uncredited short. Instantly subscribed to Alexandr and am ignoring the channel that put out the first short of him I saw, due to lack of credit for any artist they upload the music from.
Anyway, I'm glad I stumbled across it, and by extension Alexandr Misko. Such wonderful tone and feeling in his playing.
I'm a classic rock, hair metal, grunge, heavy metal guy. I don't know if I've seen a more thoroughly played guitar in my time. I know there's editing and engineering, but seeing the active string tuning feels like seeing the first whammy bar driven solo.

Literally tried the thing when he changes the tune at the chorus part, I got hit by my string instead. Amazing
You probably popped a string on an acoustic guitar fitted with a set of 12s tuned to standard tuning. Here's what Alexandr has - "heavy" 14s ( .014 .018 .027 .039 .049 .059) with the guitar tuned 2 frets low - if you look closely you can see that beefy 0.014 high string very clearly. Now when you put the capo on the 4th fret like Alex does it will sound like the second fret. If you keep 14s on your guitar and you tune it to standard tuning you many damage the neck over time - but there should be no problem if you stay two frets low. BTW on an electric guitar you can bend those 0.10 or 0.08 strings to get a very similar "glissando" effect just by doing a slow bend.

Merwyn Paul watch Tommy Emmanuel's somewhere over the rainbow iam sure will find another BEST fingerstyle guitarist.
Tommy and Alexandr have completely different styles and techniques and I'm sure each would be challenged to play each other's songs using the each other's techniques and style. What Tommy is absolutely best at is not necessarily his phenomenal guitar skills, but his ability to entertain an audience for hours. If you ever get an opportunity to see him live, don't miss out.

Do you see the difference between him and the "talented" "smack harmonic smack tap knock knock" guitarists? He plays the melody as full notes (plucked or not), the beat is just a complement, doesn't disrupt or overwhelm the tonal part and most importantly, the harmonics are only embellishments. They don't replace notes of the main motif, so the flow of the melody and rythm is totally undisrupted and makes sense. As much as others are totally impressive, he plays music you can actually listen to and not seeing the video doesn't makes it a tiny bit less exciting.
