    **CLARIFICATION** I just wanted to clarify that when I ran the PCMark Battery Tests, I had the 120Hz enabled. Expect another 1-2 hours potentially more if you set it at 60Hz. Of course everyone's use case is different so you may get varying results.

      How has been your experience with zbook power g9? I'm getting same model with g10 and I'm a bit nervous since this is the first time I'm buying a high performance device.

This thing flies, I'm very happy with it. I don't game, but I work with large datasets (google docs with 600.000+ rows) and there's no hiccups

    I have my Fury G10 now for a bit more than one Week and love it. Is the most powerful Notebook I ever owned but with 4 SSD Slots and 4 DDR5 ecc Ram slots is it worth every Euro. I bought the OLED touch Option with touch and I can' t be happier. ❤

    Great review as always, I also was considering Fury models as well but the weight kinda put me off. Zbook workstations are very interesting, they have such a gorgeous features and have also so many price drops that you have to be ready to buy one at any time. At the end, I got a ZBook Power G10 (after debating a lot with myself if I should get a Firefly that is more lighter) though and I expect to get it shipped by later this week, can't wait. Specs and configuration were just really really gorgeous to let pass on for a really cheap price. Almost 1500 for a 2tb storage and 64gb ram with Ryzen 9 as the processor. If you could do later a review comparison between the other three zbook models and this one It would be great

    This is exactly the laptop that I want, been a diehard HP customer for decades. I've been buying both their laptops and desktops since I was a teenager, I'm 33 now, but this is probably one of if not the best PC laptop on the market and it's also made by HP, so I've got to buy it.

    This is an Excellent laptop with mediocre battery life due to the power of this machine. I always say you get what you pay for and it shows with the HP ZBook Fury 16 G10 (2023). I would definitely consider this once it goes on sale because it seems to have everything I would want in a fully decked laptop. From the generous port selection to the very bright display, the 1440p webcam, the clear internal mics, the very full, very punchy audio from the internal speakers, it is a dream come true laptop!! Once again, it is only bogged down by the mediocre battery life but understandable. My take on this is to get it when HP puts it up on sale! Excellent video once again Andrew!!! 👏 😁

    I own one Fury G10. RTX 3500 and i9. Though benchmark scores are good, the initial performance is not impressive. My 3 year old Ryzen 7 4800H (Omen) outperformed this so called Mobile WS in opening Unity projects (both new and old projects). Need to update everything and check the performance again. Have not started working on big projects yet on this WS. There is intermittent
    tuck sound with one of the fans. Keyboard backlight turns off automatically (though i have enabled "never" in BIOS). Have raised these issues with the HP Support and they are sending a technician to resolve. I'm going to place a replacement for this defective WS

      In theory it is rather normal for a gaming laptop to outperform a workstation laptop in many circumstances because workstations throttle their GPU for the sake of 'overall stability'. And gaming laptop GPUs allow for much higher power limits in most cases, which also grant them faster processing speed. IMHO the real advantages of workstations are never about sheer performance (and please forget about the so-called gpu certification for certain applications, because the real difference is trivial), but the storage expandability and extended warranty that gets you covered for much longer time.

    Nice powerful PC for those it is designed for. Camera and mics are good. Display is good. Excellent port selection. Like the easy access to the insides for user upgrades. Like the ability to do some nice upgrades. Keyboard layout is very good. Like the included numpad. It is designed with full size keys not shrunken keys like other manufacturers who have numpads on their units. Also the numpad layout is correct with "enter" and "plus" keys to the right of the numbers like a typical calculator. This is condusive for fast numeric input for number crunching activities. Speakers sounded good. A little pricey. Another great quality review.

      Yeah, hard to choose between this and a P16 considering the opposing reliability statistics historically with HP being bottom of the barrel and ThinkPads being excellent.

    • @davidsky3536
      @davidsky3536 3 місяці тому

      @@stevenswallThinkpad models don't provide an Ethernet port, and they look less 'sleek' than the all MacBook-alike HP zbook lineup. Otherwise Thinkpad generally performs better in terms of sheer computing power, allowing higher GPU wattages for example.

    • @davidsky3536

      One additional point is that the zbook touchpad keys are on the bottom side of the pad whereas that of Thinkpad sits at the upper side.

      Buy your upgrades aftermarket, then xref the Fury G10 maxed-out compared to a gaming laptop and mid-tier prosumer YT viewing machines. Nobody likes dropping big bux, but the price is on-point if you're a Pro who needs this and buy on sale like every smart consumer should do. If you wanna complain, complain to Apple ✌️

    windows 11 ruins everything. On each laptop you need to configure power management of power plans (windows). and normalize cpu/gpu performance. On my lenovo legion undervolted nvidia gpu and got low noise and same performance. Tdp dropped down by 35w on GPU.
    Without optimization my laptop was so loud and its not good to use it with high level of noise.
