As much as I acknowledge and respect The Killing Moon as the amazing song it is…THIS is my all time favorite E&TB song. It’s timeless perfection to me. Brings out my John Hughes happy heart that forever beats for this wonderful song.
The lead singer must've been coached inside out during the original recording session and couldn't be trusted to sing it live & no wonder cuz when he started doing it live years later, he sang it all wonky & drunken Hill-Billy style.
