Hey, AJ; do you remember me? I was at the School of Drama when you were at School of Art. Then, we crossed paths, again, when I served as Entertainment Manager at Sandals, Montego Bay and you were our Entertainer on Formal Night (Sundays). Heard you sing with Third World ... would love to get caught up. Continued Blessings to you.
This is why these interviews are very important especially to the younger Generation, because I have always loved that song he intro with but I didn’t know he did it.
I recently attended a function in New York and Third World band was the featured artist for the night. I was blown away when I heard AJ Brown sang the Italian Andrea Bocelli song. I was in the bathroom when the song started and I thought it was record playing, but it was AJ. Superb talent.👍
Wow this is what I called being humble, this man done ✅ been there done ✅ that like rubbing shoulders with some great superstar yet remained calm and humble. Now a days these young boys know Drake and Dj Khaled and be acting like they really know somebody..
Wow! Not many reggae artistes focus so much on their education. Happy to know he still pursued his degree while working in Vegas. Tho if he went the Pratt Institute he prob wud have made it big in Art same way.
@TeachDem Oh yeah. Some of these examples I know of. But he was doing it same time while pursuing music full time. I think like Nadine & Zum did their degrees when they took a "break" fr music.
Teach, this is a huge interview, this man has some mega songs under his belt but I actually thought these songs were done by Richie Stephen or Mickey Spice.
One of the all time greats. And still standing vocal masters. One of my favorites singers. Bless up Mr. Brown
