Great interview! Ricky was my high school classmate and he hasn’t changed. Still funny and charismatic. Proud of him and his accomplishments so far and looking forward to even more. Sic Luceat Lux!
Yes that is true, remember him at MHS 85-90
Another brilliant interview from teach dem. Rik Rok is so down to earth and unassuming, and has a great sense of humour. He's ver much underrated. Very articulate as well. Wonderful interview!!🎉🎉
GOOD ADVICE, GET RID OF THE EGO😅
Without Rik ROKs vocals on "it wasn't me" I don't think the song would've been such a big hit, Rik's vocals truly we're/are amazing!👍
One of the most intelligent entertainer that has ever been on Teach Dem. Real humble dude. Continued blessing Breda.
Great one and special one Teach..Well done Rik Rok we are extremely proud of you 🎉🎉🎉
Teachdem, this was one of your best. Rik Rok, you are one of the most prolific writers (who knew). So humble. Loved this. Congratulations, Teachdem, I love your content.
Appreciate your support Lady Diana
Another masterpiece Yeah dem. Rik Rok you are a treasure, hard working humble, articulate and hilarious. Acting should be in your sights. Blessings bro bro.🔥🔥🔥
"when father did a give out , mi shoulda get one like dat!"... thousands of us said that same thing at the same time Teach! a nuh u one ! 😁😄
lol
My Mom, worked in South London Women's hospital throughout the 60's and 70's and we literally lived round the block, so the back of the hospital was on our street, bless up Rik Rok!
Wow. As a upcoming artist watching this felt like an experience. I could watch this a million times. I learned so much as well. ❤
Teach thank you for giving the great man his flowers, he deserves it 🙏🏿🙏🏿
I subscribed to your channel for years now but never completely watched an interview but, I had to watch Rick Rok!! Saw Rik Rok and Shaggy in Negril at Samsara Hotel in the about 2002… Epic performance… my first live concert… Even though I played music growing up I never heard of him until I listened to “It wasn’t me “ incredible song. Played it dozens of times. Love this interview!!! I write songs as well but secretly. You have inspired me Rik Rok!!! Mmm!!! Let’s see to what extent this interview impact my writing skills. Bless up Rik Rok!!! Very happy moment. I lagged a lot … bless up Shaggy!!! He means the business well. Looking forward to a gospel album from shaggy one day. God has blessed you guys well. I am sure he will influence the change I am praying for. Blessings friends.
One of the best interviews teach dem
Happy you enjoyed it
Most Jamaicans didn't know how much champions we have in our music space, until teach dem bring them to the forefront and the man BUSS all over again.Jamaica bigger than most people know.I live in America over thirty years an nuff Jamaicans a try talk like Americans and Americans trying to talk like us,people stick to ur accent we are the trend setters for the world.Nuff Yankee laugh at us trying to speak like dem.Rick Rok mi love how u hilarious, educated and humble and talk like a yard man
. JAMAICA BIGGER THAN MOST JAMAICANS WILL UNDERSTAND.
We should also speak so others understand us
Respect my brother
Is about time. We see Wode Maya too. 🇬🇲 God bless Jamaica ❤

Head boy and a good drama student
Yeh man, I just stumbled on this! Big up Ricky and Greg..... pure joke with them bros from day one for real! Great interview!
Very cool dude, never knew he was a songwriter, just love and know his music, my favorite is Bonifide, much respect, great interview, and thanks for bringing him to your channel
Big up Rik and Teach
Long time i want to hear his story
This is the first interview I have seen Rik Rok on. I was laughing out the whole video, l was totally entertained. Teach Dem wonderful interview.
I didn't know I would enjoy this video as much as I would. It's baffling how much Jamaicans were influential in music from all genres and what's more astonishing they were there in the trenches from the get go with all the big names in the music I industry abroad. Out of all ur interviews ric tok is the closest to getting rewarded and compensated for all of his hard work. It's funny how one of the biggest commercial reggae songs ever got so much fight and the hurdles it had to scale to buss inna all plcs.. Hawaii!! Great interview again teach.
Stellar interview. Among the very best I've seen on the channel, and I've been here before the 1st interview.
Appreciate the continued support bro
Yes teach you can definitely relate to this artist, he is an intelligent and bright youth. Nothing wrong with that for once...👍🏽
