That 135i with the PS2 needs a custom tune ASAP. With his mods and fuel should easily be a 550-600+whp car. Also I wouldnt beat on the car without a custom tune on the turbos. Can easily overboost and there goes 3k down the drain

Ots maps are not as aggressive as a custom tune ,stock turbos can take 450 to 500 easy.

@@CarlosJimenez-cg8gh there's more than that. The trans cuts power in 3rd and 5th, 4th and 6th would still be full power. Dude heavily over estimated is hp. No hpfp, no turbo, no meth, with RWD its 415 to 425 hp max.
You must not know much about cars if anything the numbers were underrated especially for the 340

Upgraded twins N54 with a stock turbo MHD OTS tune? Lol. This isn't racing an upgraded turbo car, obviously those turbos aren't yielding any more power without the a custom tune behind it. I give B58 all the credit in the world, that platform is awesome, way stronger and developing way faster than the N54. But an actual upgraded twins N54 on E50 would drag an OTS B58 car.

i was gonna say something about that.... you’re not supposed to run OTS tune on upgraded twins... all companies say that when you read the shit on their website. i don’t know why but it’s harmful for the upgraded turbos if you don’t run custom tune
Just typical budget baller N54 ownership, I personally didn’t spend thousands on my upgraded turbos to compliment them with a $100 tune.. Lol. But to some shortcuts are appealing, not my thing. Probably why the N54 platform is so laughable and they get results such as this after so much money and energy spent.

@@amRUTHLESS12 if it’s running anti lag on a deceleration that makes no sense! Anti lag happens before you accelerate not after. This is just excessive burbling added in the tune on deceleration and is nothing but bad for your cat if it is still installed. At a certain point it goes from faux gas overrun to just sounding annoying.
@@amRUTHLESS12 just to be clear for everyone - anti lag is not something that is automatic, in a tune you need to engage it and disengage it in order to for it to work. It retards timing creating a rich condition that keeps the engine from accelerating the car but still generates excess exhaust to spoil the turbos. You disengage it and timing returns to normal and the car takes off...none of this can happen when decelerating and certainly not as some sort of auto-anti-lag. It’s just a burble which is a slight rich condition to make a little gas explode in your cat
@@amRUTHLESS12 no, it really doesn’t help with spooling as the excess fuel is slight. I’m sure the aftermarket performance tune is just being burbleriffic for sound. To each their own, but burbles don’t enhance performance otherwise you would here them everywhere going on forever...and I’d be in hell! I don’t mind a little burble, but it has limits to where it just sounds contrived.
How much boost is the one with E60 stock turbos pushing? Inlets w/ E85 makes big difference when pushing the stockers to their limits

@@socracing that is so mild map compared to a custom map at 22 psi. Those stockers can push much more power than what u get at 18 psi
Stage 2 B58 E30 OTS is more like 435-440 wheel if you're talking STD on a Dynojet. 420 is more like Stage 2 93.
I find MHD stage 2 more aggressive then BM3 on the b58

The white bmw is a 340 with just a 3inch muffler delete but still sounds the same as stock exhaust

@@bigmarc977 like most things within the car culture “FBO” is somewhat subjective. As you know, the term “bolt on” refers to mods which can be bolted on the car to increase engine performance. Inlets and outlets on an N55/4 fall into that category. technically having stock turbo(s) would fall short of FBO status, but most everyone let’s that slide. The term gained prominence in the community to explain that a car was modded just shy of upgraded internals or a fully built motor. Of course this is all just my very humble two cents. Fun video none the less.
I think i'm starting to hate on the b58 m340... i raced it with my stage 2 335i xdrive and he slowly walked away.. Now, someone with an upgrade turbo 135i loses to a 340i... I'm definetly hating
Well the new m340's are like 380hp 370tq stock . So with the right bolt ons and a tune it got some giddy up
340 with no xhp and that filter the iat after the first 3 runs got up too high

Is urgent that a guy with ps2 tuned properly. I have the same turbos with 640whp and sub6s 100-200kmh. No chance for 99.9% of b58's.
You know the Pure 800 has like 586+ wheel on pump gas and then if you wanna go stage 3/4 get the Big Boost turbo that makes 820whp

very odd intakes ,pod filters deep in the engine bay exposed to the heat like that these beemers def need a proper dyno tune to really see their potential doesn't anyone drive a good ol manual anymore lol

G series M340i has like 60-70 more HP than the F series. Not the newest B58
m340i make about 30-40 more hp to the wheels than f30 340i's do

Why don't you believe someone when they say they've done mods to their car? I believe he has upgraded turbos but he admitted he had no tune for them. I ran mine with upgraded turbos and on the ots tune. The car ran so weird. Just had to wait for my next paycheck to get the tune done. I totally understand why he did it. But the guys all sounded a bit like ricers not really sure what their cars were capable of

The N54... is the best option.
While the n54 is great I’ve had two, one being a pure car as well, fbo the b58 is special. And doesn’t need all the same supporting mods to make the same or more power then a stock turbo n54. I enjoy not having to spend money every few months fixing the n54. The s58 engine tuned/fbo and e85 is insane. SERIOUSLY!

@@1erarman930 looks like he did 1 40/60 roll without brake boost . He Had him on the 40 forsure . 340 just on downpipe with intake running ots map still. Not bad at all
@@1erarman930 I was mostly comparing to the speed of the other 135i. Stage two turbo should be pulling away quicker than the other 135. 340i was almost equal to the slower 135
