Hey Gawx!!! You’re here!! So, I was just watching videos on how to be a good cinematographer like you to use for my art videos. Yes yes yes! I’m in the right place!!
Mede Nederlander hier. I have chronic disease and I'm also a wheelchair user. Some of this stuff and strapping is very useful when you need your hand to steer the chair etc. Cool stuff thanks!!!
the best feature of this video is the budget options; nice to have flexibility and take the focus away from gear, put it onto creativity instead :) nicely done Bruno
Brilliant! I put together a budget Snorri cam out of an Insta360 pole with a gimbal tripod foot added, an articulating arm at the other end and camera strap tacked on. It works great and is quite comfortable. But the shoelace idea is genius ;-)
You won a new suscriber! I'd love to go back to the diy era of UA-cam, when it was cheaper to make this pvc and shoelaces contraptions instead of buying the thing. People were more creative back then
Amsterdam oost!! I used to go to university there. Walked through those parks atleast 500 times. Made sure to walk the hole park whenever i had a free period. Really underrated part of Amsterdam!
I like this. This style is what so many people started learning from when UA-cam was new. Cheap Gear + Hacks = Look what you can do! Now its all buy this, buy that.
My favorite cinematography tool that can help me film myself at home called "girlfriend", not so cheap of course, but can help a lot. You can use it to film you with gimbal, tripod, also as a slider, as light or reflector holder. Definetly recomend
This is the first video of yours I’ve watched and just went and signed up for your course I love the follow along and evaluation aspect looking forward to go through it tonight , thanks man
Dope! Send me an email with your thoughts on the course afterwards! (b.koldeweij@gmail.com) Tell me some things you might want in an improved version. I'm thinking of improving it this year!
Nice snorricam good advice! Cool angles. With a Skateboard Dolly Shot! Breaking Bad pov object Shot. Static Shot top down Shot los angle shots & durch angle pov Shot! Action cam shoot. Great Music good Sound effects and good editing! Thanks for the advices.
watching this from a shity phone is painfull knowing that it is not for broke people ... what a great video i hope i can get my hand on a camera soon nchalah
I'd also add that you should never throw away a broken tripod so long as the business end can still mount a camera. I have a monopod I made out of a broken tripod. That works really well for mounting a camera inside a car using gaffer tape or velcro to secure it inside the car. Also works for bikes and such.
This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my UA-cam channel 9 months ago about self development. Now I have 1,696 subs and > 1k hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.
Sometimes being creative needs you to embrace the cringe, but don't hurt yourself of course. (and in a few months this video is going to get at least 100k views)
1:24 "Moothon" is a Malayalam film by Geethu Mohandas. It's a masterpiece which was under appreciated by Indian audience. I was really surprised to see a shot from Moothon in your video.

Super inspiring - a ton of options created with these simple ideas.. Thanks!
More reliable then 5 minutes crafts hacks !
pro tip, use a fishing rod belly band holder for that tripod leg on the snorricam
The skateboard filming rocks......especially because my talent at operating a skate board often leads to horizontal landing.
watching this from a shity phone is painfull knowing that it is not for broke people ... what a great video i hope i can get my hand on a camera soon nchalah
