I wouldn't really consider this a collector's edition. In comparison, the collector's edition for 'Mobile Suit Gundam: Side Stories' (AKA: 'Gundam The Missing Link') contained: The base game, an artbook, a soundtrack, a model kit (HG 1/144 Pales Rider - Metallic version) and a box to store all that in. And the game came out 10 years ago on the PS3.
I was also disappointed that they didn't put everything in it's own collector's edition box like they did with the Asian & Japanese collectors editions. Also, I do believe that we were supposed to get a poster with the Gunbarrel Stike Gundam on it, but it looks like they didn't give that to a bunch of people.
Congrats on getting it later on. I tried getting the Collectors edition on the bandai Namco website. And its sold out and I was also thinking if its exclusively in Japan and eastern regions. Thanks for giving your 2 cents on this matter. If only the collectors edition gave you a free in-game dlc season pass.
Some cool looking Summer 80s colors. I felt the same way too thinking that it would come in a cool packaging but it would be more costly than the price is given.

Enjoying the game more. I had a feeling the collection box was gonna be something like that. I am glade i didnt order it, but I enjoy Gunpla rockon.
