Scott Bradlee tweeted that he saw a shooting star in the sky when he got to the studio (Haley's Comet). Haley also recorded "All About That Bass" with Morgan James and Ariana Savalas that day in the Swiss studio. About Haley's early dresses. A hometown family friend who knew Haley since she was born worked at Alyce Paris, her name was Penny Gilbert. Penny provided this dress, the "Black Hole Sun" Dress, the "Lovefool" white dress you reacted to in my video, and the black and Gold "Seven Nation army" dress, so Penny was a VERY significant part of Haley's early career. I'm sad to say Penny passed away last week, she was a very sweet woman. RIP Penny

By the way, the beautiful dress Haley is wearing in that particular performance is a dress she also wore in one of her high school performances that is on UA-cam when she was the jazz vocalist for her award winning high-school orchestra. As Haley along with her high school orchestra also toured Europe in 2009 and they also performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival and Umbria Jazz Festival on that European trip.
