Thanks for noticing the run-into-guitar-solo. I've never heard a reviewer mention that before. Musicians love to perform with him, I think because he's a genius and also knows how to be a member of a band.
Yes! More Adam please! Check out his live performances from his Velvet album, like 'Closer To You (Live Sessions)'.. it's not as rockish, but his vocals are amazing as always.
Besides his range and technique what's always impressed me about Adam is how well he improvises! Never the same song twice. As a lifelong singer myself (albeit mostly choir, which doesn't encourage creative license), my brain only clicked on *harmonizing* to the radio... a couple years ago? (I'm 32) And unless I keep it really simple I will lose track of the key 😅
The entire Glam Nation Tour was incredible, so that may be a good place to start if you want to see more of this type of performance. Sleepwalker is still to this day one of my favorite performances, thank you for your great reaction!
Glam Nation is his first tour from 2010. Sleepwalker is my favorite!! Co-wrote by Ryan Tedder for Adam Lambert's first studio album out of American Idol "For Your Entertainment"
A powerful group of musicians worked on Adam's first album: Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic) - "Sleepwalker", Muse, Gaga, Dr.Luke, The Darkness, but no studio recording can compare to how these song sound live. When Tedder saw this vìdeo, he was stunned, from his simple song iñ the recording, Lambert created a masterpiece that still causes chills and aďmiration. Ryan called Adam a "crazy vocal beast"
He is absolutely an incredible live performer. As for full album reactions, I think Velvet would be amazing. For me, it’s one of the rare albums that is excellent front to back. I love the other albums, but that feels like the most cohesive.
can you react to him performing “soaked” from the same tour? it’s a softer more ballad like song but still shows off his vocal skills and a different side to him. the song was also written by the band muse. i also agree with people recommending “for your entertainment” and “velvet”. that way you can get a good variety of genres that adam does. he does rock, soul, dance music, ballads, etc. anything
This song was from his debut album, "For Your Entertainment". One of my favorite tracks. Adam is such a brilliant vocalist and performer. His vocal range is ridiculous and he is a rare breed; he can sing different genres brilliantly! If you are a rock guy, you may wish to check out and review his first album, FYE.
Adam is always so effortless with the craziest range. I'd love to hear a duet between him and Kelly Clarkson at some point as they're the two current voices that could literally sing anything.
Saw this tour live, was incredible and holds a special place in my heart. I was fortunate to take my grandma to see this show along with two other times. and at 85 she was still there supporting her Adam lol. This song was my favorite from the For Your Entertainment Album.
It's interesting to note that Adam did this tour worldwide immediately after the AMerican Idol tour at the end of the Idol show and funded the whole thing himself. He roped in friends and family for much of it to do dancing, promo, stage managing etc to save costs and managed to cover costs and make a little profit. I think he was the first Idol contestant (apart from maybe the winners) to launch a solo tour straight after the show. Possibly the only one because its not how the shows producers do things. ANyway, great review and I adore his performance of this song. I understand this track was a number one hit in parts of Europe
"Strut", "Sure Fire Winners", "Fever", "20th Century Boy" - fricking awesome! Lambert has a stunningly beautiful, powerful voice. He is generally one is very cool in live vocalists in the world
Check out Adam’s album “VELVET”. - I recommend the live sessions. The pandemic hit just as it was released so it was not fully appreciated. It’s a great ride.
Thanks for your positive reaction, this was Adam Lambert's own tour after AI. Adam Lambert is headed for Broadway, he will be replacing Eddie Redmayne as the Emcee in Cabaret on Broadway from September 16, 2024 until the end of March 2025. On Broadway and the West End in the U.K., they're doing what is called stunt casting and replacing the stars every six months and Eddie Redmayne's 6 months are up. If you are planning on buying tickets for the show, double check to make sure that Adam Lambert will be appearing that day, since the understudies will be performing for some matinees and evening performances.
Glam nation live concert video is epic - this is from that. But to date his most amazing Albun came out just before Covid and it never got its day. It’s called velvet and it’s a masterpiece. His live performances for it were amazing pretty sure you’ve a couple. I can’t remember. Killer.
always with the most relatables reactions. how i appreciate you in the youtube community. and always so positive. thanks for another great music video content !!!! ❤❤❤❤❤ greetings 🇦🇷
One of my favorite covers he has done is Rihanna's Stay. It's beautiful. There was a video on UA-cam that is his song Underneath and it goes into Stay (or it might be the opposite) and just probably one of my favorite songs by him into his version of Stay. I think it was recorded when he was in Japan years ago. YOu will love his album: Velvet.
Btw I'm sorry to say I haven't followed Adam closely over the years, but if you check out his album Velvet as others have suggested I'd love to listen with you 😊
Please check out some of his BEST singles, like Nver Close Our Eyes, Better Than I Know Myself, Another Lonely Night, What do You Want From me, Make Me Feel (Mighty Real) etc.!!! And also There I Said it, and MAYBE The Original High as a non-single songs from that I love!!!
During GlamNation tour (2010) the drummer is Longienue P from Yellowcard and the guitarist is Monte Pittman (crazy crazy talent - now with Ministry - metal but just as famous for being Madonna's touring guitarist who taught her to play = he met her as a teacher first!) Monte his love is metal he taught Madonna a Pantera chord she often plays. So live for small venue was damn great back then because Monte & LP added another layer of rock and roll. Magic team in my opinion. Cam - keyboardist was in Uh Huh Her.
The crazy part about Adam joining Queen is that not a single person has anything bad to say after he started performing with them. Even old fans and sceptics were bowled over by him and he scored tons of new fans for Queen. Queen is able to tour again after so long. Queen waited till they met the RIGHT person before taking anyone in. And they found him by accident too, thanks to AI.
And glamnation was his first proper tour after Idol… (you know that singing show that he lost lmao) it was all totally legit and not at all fixed that result right? Ha there’s a reason queen wanted him from the get go and he rejected them
You should look up The Citizen Vein that was Adam's band before he went on Idol. The guitarist in this clip was also in the band with him as well as Tommy Victor from Prong - sadly the dude in this clip did the dirty on Adam in a huge way but thats a story for another time
Charlotte Ritchie is the lead in a BBC sitcom called Ghosts (also starring Katy Wix, Lolly Adefope and future TM contestant Kiell Smith-Bynoe! Jessica Knappett was also in a few episodes.) There's also a US remake but it's not as good.
Thanks for noticing the run-into-guitar-solo. I've never heard a reviewer mention that before. Musicians love to perform with him, I think because he's a genius and also knows how to be a member of a band.
I get goosebumps every time I watch an Adam presentation. I wish more people could feel this right now.
Yes! More Adam please! Check out his live performances from his Velvet album, like 'Closer To You (Live Sessions)'.. it's not as rockish, but his vocals are amazing as always.
Adam is amazing. I saw him live. Never heard such a powerful vocal. And what a stage presence. He is just out of this world.
Adam Lambert is my favorite vocalist and your reaction was great.
The entire Glam Nation Tour was incredible, so that may be a good place to start if you want to see more of this type of performance. Sleepwalker is still to this day one of my favorite performances, thank you for your great reaction!
I always wanted Sleepwalker to be a single off FYE.
More Adam Lambert, he’s the best!
He is amazing. He is now on Broadway in Cabaret till end of March. Back to his roots.
Adam best vocalist full stop!
Adam is absolutely the best. He is beyond awesome live. Thanks Steven for your positive reaction. 👍😊✌️
Glam Nation is his first tour from 2010. Sleepwalker is my favorite!! Co-wrote by Ryan Tedder for Adam Lambert's first studio album out of American Idol "For Your Entertainment"
Probably one of my favorite songs!! Always wanted this to be a single. Imagine Adam singing it on an awards show.
Loved hearing this again. A Glamnation concert made me high for 3 months. 😂 Love your energy.

Thanks for the great reaction video! Adam is so vocally gifted it’s mind boggling.

Adam is UNBELIEVABLY talented. Such a great reaction! Thank you so much for this.
He is a BLAST to see live! Talent to spare, and you can't take your eyes off him!

His vocal range is ridiculous and he is a rare breed; he can sing different genres brilliantly! If you are a rock guy, you may wish to check out and review his first album, FYE.
You have to explore all of Adam’s music!! EPIC
Adam is always so effortless with the craziest range. I'd love to hear a duet between him and Kelly Clarkson at some point as they're the two current voices that could literally sing anything.
Kelly is overrated FYI she’s not that great can’t do Opera for instance like Adam can
There used to be a edit that was basically a pink/adam duet since whatdoyouwantfromme was her song originally
@@decadeofmcfly oh wow - I have not seen that clip. Thanks for letting me know.

He already dropped his album, I bought the album and went for the concert.
Adam Lambert - yes please!
Even better, Adam’s You Tube Space, NYC live performances of select “VELVET” album gems. So much to appreciate there too.
The guitar solo was by Monte Pitman who worked with Madonna
also a member of Prong for heavy metal cred
It´s so much fun to listen to you being so enthusiastic about Adam, thanks for your reaction!
Love your reaction, I actually was at that concert and it was amazing!!
One of my Adam favorites! Great reaction!! Thanks Madison for requesting this one!!
I LOVE Adam. Flawless EVERYTIME.
"Strut", "Sure Fire Winners", "Fever", "20th Century Boy" - fricking awesome! Lambert has a stunningly beautiful, powerful voice. He is generally one is very cool in live vocalists in the world
I was lucky enough to see this live and it is truly incredible. I got to see him 3 times, twice by himself and once with Queen.
Check out Adam’s album “VELVET”. - I recommend the live sessions. The pandemic hit just as it was released so it was not fully appreciated. It’s a great ride.

Check out the VELVET album, it's great! If you're into Adam's rock side, be sure to check out his version of "Whole Lotta Love" on American Idol.
I loved your reaction! Love love love Adam Lambert. Enjoyed your enthusiasm and you seem extremely knowledgeable! More please!

How the heck does he jump octaves in full chest voice in this performance? F***ing amazing!
Nice to see your reaction to Adam's songs Steven.
The guitarist is Monte Pittman, google him, another rabbit hole to go down!
The Glamnation tour was one of his best … he is just so captivating live
fascination performance
Great reaction. Adam Lambert is the best vocalist in the world ❤

I was actually at this concert and it was phenomenal.
You gotta check Adams cover of Ordinary World
That and virtually anything from his concert with Queen in London 2014
And glamnation was his first proper tour after Idol… (you know that singing show that he lost lmao) it was all totally legit and not at all fixed that result right? Ha there’s a reason queen wanted him from the get go and he rejected them

Great review..lose the cursing !!!
It’s a Northern thing!
Davy Havok? Seriously? You must be absolutely insane to liken Havok to Adam Lambert!!! Time to end your podcast!
