Thank you! I'm going for the instructor led course, which happens to be on Saturdays. I am a little nervous because I haven't been to school since the 90's but I have over 15 years in Logistics experience and excited about continuing my education in this field. My company will reimburse me, thankfully. I am having a hard time finding time to read the books, though. I work full time in NYC and live in Jersey. I get home after 7 and after dinner and bath I'm tired. Thanks for your tips. Wish me luck. 🙂

Hi there I'm a truck driver looking to get this certificate. Was wondering where I would find the ten books you are speaking about in this video so I can purchase them or rent them
Search Amazon for each title. Some may be available for rent but most you will likely need to buy. Kudos to you for investing in yourself and your career. It will pay off. Best of luck!
Hi lalal3aby. The knowledge I gained by preparing for the CLTD coupled with my previous experience and education has positioned me to take on a logistics leadership role with more responsibility and the opportunity to have greater impact. An increase in responsibility ultimately leads to an increase in income. If you are interested in better compensation and more opportunities, I would encourage investing in yourself professionally to prepare and position yourself for those opportunities while starting to take on more responsibility in your current role. Nothing is more convincing of your ability to take on a role with more responsibility than voluntarily doing that in advance of the title change and pay increase. Let me know if there are any topics you would like to see covered on this channel that will help you on this journey. Best of luck and thanks for watching!

Hi, Danielle. Thank you for the information. I wanted to ask your opinion on a good starting point for myself in the Supply Chain Field. I'm a veteran with an unrelated BA degree. I have taken a couple grad courses in business and sustainability. I have no work experience in Supply Chain. I'm interested in the field from a stand point of sustainability. Because I have no formal educational experience or professional experience in this field, I was looking at grad programs in Supply Chain...but as I look at all of the cert programs available...I wanted to ask you what may make these most sense for me? Maybe it would be better to do a Cert instead of a degree? Or perhaps, maybe given my total lack of experience, it would be best for me to do both a grad degree and a cert? I would be interested to hear your thoughts based on qualifications you see from those working in the field and what qualifications you think may be marketable to employers. Thank you for any thoughts or advice you may have.
Hi @kindness808. Now is a great time to get into supply chain as well as focus on sustainability. What type of role are you seeking and in what industry? Company requirements will determine if you need a degree or not. If that is required, I would focus on that first. You can always get a certification later to continue your education. Thanks for watching!
HI @sudiptobanerjee7005 Thanks for watching! It varies by company but overall ASCM has a great reputation in the industry and their certifications are some of the most, if not the most, recognized.
