Thank you so much. I am thrilled I found your video. Wonderful idea and brilliant results. Pam have saved me money and given my the confidence to make my eyes with what I have at home. Fantastic video and wonderful results. I love your brick wall background, lovely colours
YES!!!!!! Purple people eater!!!!!!!! Love you beautiful lady!!!💜💜💜💜 and my post has a cameo!!!!!!!!💜💜💜💜 lol I’m such a nerd but you just made my day! Thank you lol
Pam Duthie lol 😂 well they’re not everyone’s cup of tea, but I like them. Your little felted creations would go really well with them too, as dolly pets and toys as they look the right scale. I used to use cats eyes like the ones you made on dolly hats 😂 xxx
This is so awesome! I am not crafty, lol - especially with glue:) So this will be just fine for my clumsy paws - have to try it for our live cat trivias! Thank you!
Those are awesome❣️Great job, Pam. I wonder if there are smaller glass cabochons on the market? I have so many medium sized ones but no small sizes. They're just sitting in a corner looking plain and pretty. I need to turn them into beastie eyes if ever I make another large one. I don't show my large projects to customers online cause they're so hard to ship. Though, I have so many that could use eye transplants. Mostly dragons but also cats and jesters (props & decorations). Thanks for the inspirational demo❣️
You are most welcome :) what sizes have you got? I think you can get pretty small or I have got clear glass eyes right down to 1mm (which would be way too hard to paint) check out 'GlassEyesOnline' they are your side of the pond and amazing people
Hmmmm..... good to know that there are smaller ones. I would say my sizes are pretty close to yours in this video. I scooped them up in the floral crafts section years ago of who knows where. And people have given me theirs too. I was also using those acrylic gem stones for smaller pieces but, ehhhh......not quite what I needed. So, I will explore to find something not too small. As long as I can handle it with my long tweezers, no problem. But it must be large enough so that I don't have to squint. I have been using pistachio shells and cherry pits too (fun). Some Mardi Gras beads also work. But those are painted on the surface, of course. So off I will go on my creative quest in between drying times. Thanks.
Dear Pam,thanks thıs vıdeo.I have thıs problem. And you fınd a very good solutıons. That's a brıllant ıdea.I have a questıons. For a 3D felted Cat head(lıke real cat measure) what ıs your advıse for eyes dıameter?I used 10mm dıameter glass eyes, but ıt ıs so tıny,ıt dıdn't fıx ıts head.I wıll buy thıs glass.I don't decıde dıameter. .What ıs your suggestıons for a felted Cat head lıke a real Cat head? :)
Hi the eyes I have in this video are 25mm which I think depending on the size and breed of the cat might well work, I wouldnt go any smaller, if you are making eyelids to go over the eyes then I think even 30mm might be an OK size
Amazing thank you!
You're very welcome!

Great video - I love this. I wonder though if glue might dissolve the painted surface when the eyes are attached to the felted animal?
Thank you - that is a great idea, it didnt when I used it but I need to experiment with some glues and see

Hi Pam, great video, very similar to the eye chips used in Blythe dolls.

Haha I love the idea of sending you on a creative quest!! It sounds all dungeons and dragons (which I was never cool enough to join in with)
🐲I've never played D&D. But my quest was a success just a little while ago. An Etsy listing has an assortment of sizes. Might give her a try.
yeah congratulations on your quest!!
Great!
Thank you, I was happy how they turned out
What size are these that you used please Pam
I think they were 30mm
