Have a nice Husqvarna saw and a big huge Stihl. I’d love to have one of those 16” Makita battery saws over dealing with those two when I need a saw. Maybe just me. Don’t use a saw that often-we don’t do much firewood. So it’s for around the yard stuff and emergencies and hunting a camping. The electric would work better for me.

Why? A peace of mine! There a lot quitter than a noisy gasoline engine. There more dependable, cheaper, and lighter. The plus is there QUITTER. I got a 18" Oregon electric cord chainsaw. SHES A BEAST. Cuts any thing fast, easy, and very dependable 👍👍 Pull the trigger and it sharpen the chain. WOW SWEET > The chain is the most easiest to adjust and take off and on. I dearly LOVE IT

Yes if I needed a chain saw or a log splitter I would definitely look at an electric one, a whole lot less maintenance. I don't know what kind of oil you run in the Wraith but I take a friend of mine drain oil from my bike (20W50) and my truck (5W20) and he uses it for bar oil. He cuts wood for a living and he's not gentle on any kind of machinery but he says the drain oil works fine. Just something to think about. Keep the good stuff coming.

Hydraulic oil, a couple of wedges for when a log gets totally stuck in the splitter along with a 4 or 5lb hand sledge to send those wedges in.. a cheap pair of leather gloves to keep those friggin splinters a bay!!

@@WanderingWagners I have had one of these splitters for three or four years now, and bought the foot switch and a C clamp from Harbor freight and it has been doing a great job, I split about 6 cords each summer for my own use and it has done a great job, and it goes into the garage during the winter where I can use it to split kindling when I need to. I am 76 years old and getting ready for this summer of splitting, and I cut the trees, and haul the rounds home to split them in my back yard, that way if I get tired of splitting I can go inside and watch TV for awhile LOL

Good video 😃 they are forcing everyone to go electric you don't use your equipment all the time you do not want to mess fuel mixing well see what happens and no more portable gas generators soon 🤔

It just makes more sense to have electric for a few tools you don't use frequently.. We also have an electric weed whacker and have for many years.. It works so much easier and better than gas and it's quiet! Haha

How sweet. Mike is being a good house husband while Lynn is working 80+ hours a week - and while she is sleeping during the day, he is also buying toys in hopes that she won’t notice.

I used to have a gas chainsaw but it sat most of the time so decided to go with electric this time since I don't plan to cut down a ton of trees, just little stuff like this here and there.

The Wen 6.5-ton log splitter is a waste of money. All the videos I have seen all are splitting “straight grain wood”. Come on really? Most all the wood I get for free is Not Straight Grain Wood! The last load of wood that I split with my Wen 6.5-ton splitter was sycamore 10 to 15” rounds. Both the wings broke off the log cradle and the oil started to leak out the back handle. The frame that supports the splitter kept leaning over and fell over numerus times. Even on a concrete pad or driveway the unit was very unstable. The two arms that pull the log into the wedge, bend, cutting down the power to do the split. In the Real World this splitter is not worth the money.

We've had 0 issues for any kind of wood. It cuts through knotty wood without issues. Even much bigger logs than they say to use on this splitter. We use it a few times a year and it's been amazing.

You laugh about keeping kids, pets and adults away from the log splitter. Wait until one of the logs explodes or splits and shoots out a piece of log at LEGAL FORCE. ☠☠ You want be laughing
