@mikeskustomgarage6463 You're doing good so far! Ute builds are pretty popular so it would be good to put that in the title and in the tags. Making shirts will help bring in traffic.
You do good work. That will definitely be a nice car when you're done. I still don't like the back window. But everyone has different taste. Don't really see the point of the hood scoop. If you're not stuffing a v8 under there. But like I said every one has different taste.

I cleaned it up and treated it with Ospho. I didn't see a need to patch it there since i was welding a cover over it

Soon. i have a few more weeks of this then ill be putting the engine in the Jetta frame and start putting it together
Does the rear window template need to be sized to accommodate the thickness of the lexsan plus some urethane
Yes. I have an idea how to make the buck to do just that. maybe next video if I have time

Thanks, Rear window is just doing something different and hood scoop is definitely for show. I think it will look good when painted.
