15-foot Whitecaps in San Diego only one guy out!

"Meet The Mystery Man Who Surfs 15-foot Whitecaps" February 22, 2023 the Torrey Pines outer buoy peaked at 17-foot at and average of 8 seconds. It is extremely rare to see those readings here in San Diego. The winds were 35 KT with 50 KT gusts which almost blew me off the cliff at Blacks Beach; I couldn't even set up my tripod without shelter. In this video, I travel from Wind an Sea, La Jolla Cove, La Jolla Shores, Scripps Pier then back to home base at Seaside Reef. Filmed and edited by Bryan BJ Johnson.
