Great video! I've been doing Cornershop for the past two weeks in the Orlando area. So far so good. They only use one store in the area so it makes it pretty easy.
It’s going ok for me too. Hopefully they make some improvements with the platform. It’s not a bad app so far.

Thanks for the info. I signed up for cornershop a month ago. I have to drive an hour to be able to log in. I'm by Houston, TX. But I tried it once, my first order was at a little gift shop kind of store. The order was for 5 cases of water. The store didn't even sell single bottles of water, let alone cases. I had to get a hold of support and have them cancel the order. How do they not know that the store didn't even sell water. I haven't signed back in since. Although they just expanded there area closer to me, I may give it one more chance

Great video and hang in there! I just started CornerShop down here in Texas. Suggestion on your drive>> set your driving MAP to NOT allow TOLLROADS. That seems to work for me, have yet to pay a toll fee and I live right next door to a toll road.

Correct, sometimes trying to avoid a toll will add 20-30 minutes to a trip.

I like Cornershop because it pays better than anything I get from Instacart or Shipt. I’ve gotten really small orders like less than 8 items and pay was always between $20-30. With Instacart those same orders would’ve been $7. In my area people barely tip. So Cornershop works better for me not having to rely on tips.
What I don’t like about Cornershop is basically the same things you mentioned. I can’t see where I’m delivering to, I can’t tell what items the customer wants before I accept, which would be helpful to know so I can make sure I can handle the items (in case they’re really heavy or something). Also so far looks like they don’t have aisle numbers yet for any of the stores. But since the orders I’ve had were really small I didn’t have any trouble finding the items. Also there’s a map when you first go into the app. But I don’t know what the point of the map is because it doesn’t show me busy areas or even show me what stores are near me for Cornershop. It would be nice if it gave you an idea of where the busy areas are or something.

I also didn't know the first day about the sale prices. I found it later. Also where it says I have a total sum that's for buy two get three free items. Customers order 3, you add up the price for 2 cause the third is free and does gone off at the register.
Cornershop just launched here in Seattle. My phone blows up constantly but every time I go to give it a chance cause I live 30 minutes away I barely get anything and often give up. Also little to no tips.
So far the tips are low but the payout from Cornershop makes the shop worth it.
@@DimplesonDemand yes those Multipliers are nice as well as no time clock just order due by. When it comes more north into my area I'll be able to multi-app with it.
Nice shop along! My box of CornerShop bags and cards has been collecting dust for maybe 5 months now. They were supposed to launch in July in Chicagoland, here we are approaching the end of August and nothing 😉 still waiting patiently

@@SideGig I find it very unprofessional on their part. Sending us supplies and giving absolutely no updates. They even deactivated me saying I was inactive. I had to go back and forth with support to get reactivated. Sent an email saying they are launching in Chicago in July and still nothing. Not liking this app so far 😆
@@JustJoe83 The map they originally sent out doesn't cover my area anyway. So, I am not sure if I am even going to do it. I just wanted to be prepared. There could be high payouts in the beginning to get everything going. 🤞
Chicagoland sounds like a magical place that I need to visit. Lol. I wonder wants taking so long for them to launch in your area. They usually have open forum meetings where you can speak with someone live. I look out for the next one and let you know. Maybe you could join and put them on the spot by asking questions that need answers.
It was the same for me. Cornershop was in Brooklyn and by that time I already moved to NJ. They eventually came to NJ but only on Jersey city. Now they have branched out to my neck of the woods.
I agree that they need to update the offer screen. I like when they have multipliers, I feel they pay well only with the multiplier. My tips always clear the next day or so.

You claim the toll on your taxes as an expense. If you use Stride toll is under expenses
You hit it on the nail. I have done one.. Not having aisle numbers was trying but not knowing where I was going to drop off before I accept was bothersome plus not knowing if the customer will tip or not. I have done one batch for 33 items... ended up getting paid $30 batch pay plus $7.40 tip which was 5%.
I feel like it will get better sooner rather than later. Not a bad app but there are definitely things that need to improve.

The holiday lines are frustrating but thing a much better now.
Great video. I just started doing cornershop in the Austin area. It's OK, the batches pay well, and customers can tip, just after the fact. Go back the next day to see how much the customer tipped. Most of mine have been five dollars. I like the smaller batches, but what I don't like as much is that you are only offered one delivery at a time and you have to accept or decline it before seeing anything else. Also in my area, they only serve Randall's, Fiesta and Costco and a few independent stores, so if you don't like those you're out of luck. Also you have to be in a zone to check in, which means I have to drive into Austin to get work, whereas with Instacart I can check in from home and see what's available. I am going to split my time between the two apps to see how it goes.
I wish there was the ability to shop for more than one order at once. I found my self driving back to the same neighborhood back to back. I also notice that when you reject an offer, after a few minutes they will send it back to you.
I think we're in the same FB group lol. Is the mileage generally right? Thinking of working in Round Rock. They had a lot more stores available at the beginning of the year.

What are neighborhoods you don’t care for? Is that because of the tolls? If so, It’s the same in my area. My deliveries are all unfamiliar areas.

Hi, I was wondering if you remember how many hours it took for you to do the 3 orders?
I think it was 4 or 5 hrs.
I’m having trouble with uploading my insulated cooler bag. I have one but they keep rejecting my photo of it. Do you know which angle you’re supposed to take the picture at? I tried taking a picture from the top of it to show the inside, but they rejected it saying it needs to show all sides. Idk how it’s possible to show “all sides” with just one pic, but I took a pic of the front of it. Hoping they don’t reject this one.

There actually has been some improvements. We are now able to see the customers zip code. Overall the app is still antiquated and needs a great deal of updating. The pay has also decreased as well. So needless to say, I haven’t been doing much Cornershop lately.
@@DimplesonDemand damn, I had very high hopes for this app because I heard rumors it pays a lot more than instacart but after watching your video and getting a reply back on how it is, this is definitely not the app that’s worth my time, miles and gas to have on my phone.

I made $90 doing three orders.
I didn’t like it corner shop because they did the exact same thing to me with tolls I had to pay tolls out of pocket I even went through settings to remove tolls still really didn’t help corner shop still accepting orders and I didn’t like not knowing where I was going or how much items I was in the store and didn’t have my area available only in Dallas area and farther cities corner shop is not taking the materials back anyone want free materials in my area ft worth Texas let me know
They need to show us the customers location. It would makes the app experience so much better.

Instacart is way better they show tips upfront so I can ignore every batch until an 80 pops up. Cornershop 10 buck tip , Instacart 60 buck tip the writing is on the wall. Most customers tip crappy for the work involved you have to wait for the ones who tip correct percentages like they do to waiters and Cornershop does not tell you this info upfront so its a big hell no from me. I made $250 today in 4 batches you'll never see that with Cornershop case closed😉
