One of the most elegant actors ever. Leslie is as lovely as ever.
Louis Jourdan was pure class. I was surprised to see how slight he was - but what huge charisma!
He was 6ft in height however - it's just that Don Lake was well over 6ft so made him look even smaller!
Louis has the same calm voice that he had in The Swan to talk to Alexandra. I just love it
I remember seeing Gigi when I was 12 years old or so. I instantly fell in love with Leslie Caron and have been in love ever since. :)
I admired Mr. Jourdan after learning he was in the "French Resistance"
during WWII. - Not only
handsome but brave too!
He seemed like a true gentleman. When he said he's an optimist it's so ironic that a year later his only son would OD and die. Sad story.

I saw Gigi and I think Leslie Caron stole it. Not that the other actors weren't good but to me she was the best.
Chris Mel I must have been impressed with GiGi, my father, who was 30yrs old, took me 5 yrs, and me older twin brothers, 8 yrs twins, took the three of us to the Kent movie theater in Brooklyn NY. One of my earliest childhood memories. Love GiGi to this day.

Always a fan of the handsome and debonair Louis. However, looks like he isn’t wearing makeup. With the harsh lighting and camera angles, his people should have insisted. Gigi is a delightful movie and one of my favorites. Thank you for sharing from Dallas Texas
Wow Leslie Caron clearly didn't like Maurice Chevalier! Look how stony faced she went at the mention of her name. Louis Jourdan knew of her dislike - see how he puts his hand on her back in solidarity, as he praises Chevalier's professionalism - not the man!

Caron's mother was from Topeka Kansas , and more or less forced to speak French, appar. they all made fun of her for her efforts , and really never taught Leslie very much English - but some ... Miss Caron's autobiog. is very interesting ..

Louis Jourdan was a man of modesty and humility, who wore his huge talent and success lightly. Alas by all accounts the same could not be said of Leslie Caron - whose ego was at its most inflated after she married the great English theatre director Sir Peter Hall.
Lesile Caron so stuck up and such an ego. Obviously jealous of Chevalier and his amazing talent. Something she never could aspire to.
Did Maurice do anything bad to Leslie...?
