This is wrong. Very wrong! Stems on hose bibs are nowhere close to being that long. In fact, thats just plain insanely long. If you don't believe me, just go to the plumbing department of your local hardware store or Home Depot. Also, I've never had a nut unscrew with just the strength of my fingers. A wrench, yes. Fingers, no.

This is a frost proof sillcock. 12in to the connection of the pex inside. The nut was loosened before I started the video.
