Some people like that kind of color, some people don't.. The younger generation of new riders are all about it.. This is my 24 year old sons bike. It's what him and his friends enjoy.. Doesn't hurt the pipes in any way. Never understood why ppl with bikes torch they’re exhaust systems. The system is so short its going to turn colors after one good track day if your riding correctly 😂
with the amount of bends it doesn’t color as evenly & consistently as you’d think! but i understand where you’re coming from, i’ve done all my other systems naturally but wanted that look for this one
Those blue jeans. 😂😂😂😂 You stylin Bro! 😵💫 I hope you arent the dirt bike racer type. Sit at a light and rev. Run that beast or park it rev ranger. LOL. Some peoples kids. I guess we can't all be well endowed. Wait til you hear the dual high exit exhaust. CRAZY good
Enjoyed the video. there is sure allot going on underneath the plastic fairings. What was the point of flaming the pipes blue ? and why throw away the baffles. why not have the ability to choose the option. personally its to loud for me. I would not want it.
yes there most definitely is so much behind those fairings! & i had the exhaust system colored because on this particular one it doesn’t color very evenly & was looking for that unique color / look! & we didn’t actually throw them out, it was a joke for the video! 😂✊🏼
i personally am a huge fan of Akrapovic, to me personally they generally have the best styling & performance! & on top of that their craftsmanship is top notch! 💪🏼
@@motorradboy21 I wouldn’t say it’s a looker, but it’s good value for the power increase you get and the sound is good from it as well. I’m not a fan of the styling though.
i believe the Ducati dealers quote it around a 10 hour job but don’t take my word for it because i’m not 110% my advice would be to give them a call & see what they say! i believe we were able to knock it out in like 7-8 hours
from what i’ve seen this system doesn’t color as evenly as i’d like naturally bc of all the curves / bends so i decided to give it a unique look by coloring this way!
I meant in the standard exhaust system. There are always catalytic converters in the base builds of the production line. And can I ask what kind of servo box was that that was connected to the original exhaust when it was removed? I think u called it a servo or sensor when u removed it. Was there something else electrically connected with the titanium system? 👍
Thx for your answer. Got a full Akrapovic system on my V2 Troy Bail. Last year. Ducati dealer assembled 10 hours, fortunately I m in luck the deal was made price including fit it😊 But…. After a rentet Weekend on the V4S for free, I ordered a new one. I dont belive my duc Garage will make the same deal linke Last year😢😂.
i’ve debated on doing a dry clutch, but i’ve heard the maintenance is a bit ridiculous on them & they’re a quite expensive just for the assembly / clutch itself. maybe sometime in the future i will add it 👀
Just bought a 2024 Sierra 1500 AT4 exactly a moth ago today, and thanks to you I’ll be headed to Ducati Detroit this week for a new Panigale. In a good way of course, but man have you ruined things for me, LOL! 😩🤦🏽♂️😂
@@motorradboy21 For the right price I just may. I think I’m going V2 though. Originally wanted White, but the Black color scheme has grown on me. #subbed
Bluing the pipe didn’t look good IMO. It didn’t match anything and the color will fade over time anyway. It would have been far better to install it with the pipes as is. I’m not hating cause it’s a beautiful bike but it was unnecessary.
i was just looking for a consistent amount of color throughout the system. on this one it’s hard to achieve it’s pretty spotty where it colors & it doesn’t because of all the bends in the piping. so that’s really what it was. thanks for watching! ✊🏼
100% agree. There should be a natural gradation of the pipes from one color to another based on the distance from the exhaust port. It looks very obviously artificial now. Hopefully it will blue nicely after some tracking.
A lot of people call the underneath the seat exhaust, The wheelbarrow exhaust🤣 It definitely would have looked better if they pulled the pipes together like the Original 916 The underneath GP style exhaust, I call those tire warmers.. It almost basically has the heat coming out right on the edges of both sides of the tire
I said it once I’ll say it again art work. The precision and hand movement’s on torching the piping… what a masterpiece legit ties it all together 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🔥
it was just a joke for the video, i still have them! 😂✊🏼 & we used Shell Oil, but not sure which racing oil you’re exactly referring to. Are you talking about the one you can put into the V4R & make the 240HP?
@@motorradboy21 Oh yes it looks absolutely cool! Definitely! But if you do it with your right hand it looks more "real" and not like the exhausts you get from aliexpres. But, I can't really say anything as I don't have a pangiale myself and would love to have one. Got a Duke 890 R with full titanium Akrapovic myself.
Great bike, only part you need to change just the mirror now, Maybe some bar end mirror would be fine or without any side mirror. Sexy beast ready to go.
yes i agree, i’m not a huge fan of the mirror on this bike & without them on it really cleans up the look of the bike & displays how aggressive the front end of the bike truly is!
Beautiful bike and it sounds great, but blow torching your titanium is exhaust is like taking sand paper to your tires to convince people that you can corner. If you want to blue it naturally, take it on track, run it wide open throttle and ride the piss out of it. It’ll blue beautifully.
i greatly appreciate it! ✊🏼 & i’ve seen a few of these systems on other bikes & even ones that have been ridden hard & they don’t achieve the consistent color i was looking for with this system it’s quite spotty when done naturally. but i absolutely get where you’re coming from, i’m not one to torch my exhaust typically as i’ve done all my others naturally. i’m curious to see how much it’ll change after me riding it hard over time. im extremely excited to take this bike on the track though, im really looking forward to it! 🤘🏼
@@motorradboy21 it would never get that awesome blue from a race track, your will still change a little over time, but looks awesome.. Bluing it is no different then people who want color or chrome, titanium or stainless pipes.. its a look..
The way he touched it with his bare hands 🤢 I hope he wiped it down after with alcohol, but man that blueing job was rough. They kept overheating in spots instead of making it even. I hope natural blue looks better…
i can assure you it was all wiped down & that it has no imperfections! & i wouldn’t particularly say he was overheating it but he was trying to achieve a range of colors not just one solid color all the way through the system. & the natural blue looks pretty good but i personally think this looks better. when it’s done naturally unfortunately it doesn’t color very evenly / consistently throughout the system bc of all of the bends & such. thanks for watching!
i typically do my exhaust systems naturally, but with this particular system it doesn’t color as evenly as the look i was looking for so we decided to do it with the torch instead! ✊🏼
If I’m paying 6k it’s gonna be a undertail termignoni ,, That set up looks like an average slip on . We know it’s not but when all the plastics are back on it looks simple
why even rev it in 2 cylinder mode? always rev it in 4 cylinder mode guys!! That's why it sounds better "out here" because it is in gear and all 4 cylinder are firing instead or just the 2 when in neutral.
How to ruin a 6k exhaust…take a blow torch to it so it blues blotchy instead of heat cycling it nice and even 🙄

Thank you for the info, we appreciate it.
yes we discussed it & they were willing to do it for me! but yes i agree that’s why i had it done, wanted it to be a uniform & even distribution of color! & i have them it was just a joke for the video 😂✊🏼
also thank you for the info, the tracks i know of here in the US don’t require them but i know in Europe they can get pretty strict on the noise levels!
@@motorradboy21 There are some. Im out in California and Laguna Seca is the most strict. There are a few others but they tend to be more lenient. The rich folks that decided to build houses next door to a damn race track get upset when it gets noisy
@@hypnodic01 ah i see i had no idea laguna seca had a noise restriction. that’s such an awesome track, looking forward to riding it one day! 🤘🏼 have you rode it?
This is my favourite model of exhaust for the V4S this is the first time I’m seeing the older gen exhaust on the new bike. The new under tail exhaust is heavier and doesn’t sound that great too.
i’d have to agree with you, it’s my favorite exhaust for the V4’s as well! 🤘🏼the undertail sounds decent but doesn’t sound as good as this one! & even though the undertail is longer i’m sure it may make up for it with a bit more performance! either way i’m very happy with how this turned out 😌
With the bike reassembled the stock exhaust looks way, WAAAAAYYYYY better.
wow you think so? i really do like how well the stock exhaust looks on this bike, but to me the akrapovic looks so great! ✊🏼
nice job - I got some tips of what to remove on the front of the bike as I install a new Termingnoni full system with high pipes - thanks - great job - I think I will pre-blue my new pipes also!
that is an absolutely beautiful system & sounds incredible as well! 🙌🏼 but i’m really happy to hear that this video can be of some assistance to you! & your Termignoni system will look insane pre colored! 🤘🏼
i just love expensive videos
hahahaha you & i both 😂🤘🏼
also why throw the baffles away? some tracks require less noise, you can use them
it was a joke for the video, i have them 😂
Sorry for ragging on you about the exhaust so much. I have the same bike and exhaust and it’s awesome. You seem like a cool guy. Have fun w the bike and be safe!

Is the heat issue solved after getting this exhaust? Comfortable to ride in city?
it makes it a little cooler from what i feel but it still gets hot!
Shhhheeesshhh V4 powaaaa 😈
it’s a beast!!! 💪🏼🔥
You have to strip the whole bike to put a exhaust on.Crazy
du.ca.ti.
It's crazy, I believe Ducati states its about a 10 hour job.
yes it’s no joke to install a full system on the V4 platform 😮💨
but i’d say it’s well worth it!
@@motorradboy21 in Germany no chance.Only on Track. Its better in the states.
Sick sound!
i love the sound of the V4 😮💨🔥
I think this is better job than overhauling car engines and more fun but not stable
what do you mean?
Job security , 40 hours a week plus weekend overtime , ? I don’t know how busy motorcycle dealerships service is ? 😀
Give the owner a break guys, he got his pipe heated with a torch because he's not able to ride it hard enough for it heat up 😆
i wanted consistent coloring throughout the entire system lol
SHEEEEEEEEEEESSSSHHHHHHHHHHH❤❤❤❤
hahahaha thank you man! 😂🤘🏼
Nice bike when the man was taking off the right side 3 59.sec did he snap it. Like break it off.
no he did not!
yeah it was a pull down not pull off , he looked bit guilty .. but sure its ok
I cringed when I saw and heard that...
Hi.. wow so fobulous this Ducati bro!
i appreciate it! 🙌🏼
Travail d'orfèvreries, Superbe, good job
i really appreciate that! 🙌🏼
where do i find that exhaust at .
CRAZY good
lol thanks & but no sir i’m not one of those types i find that obnoxious when people excessively rev. the dual undertail does sound phenomenal! 🤘🏼
Absolutely stunning ❤❤
i really appreciate that! 🙌🏼
dope!
thank you! ✊🏼
Do they still make this exhaust this sound is amazing
yes they do!
The most aggressive looking bike, I want one😭
i agree they are, you should get one! you’d love it ✊🏼
Hell nah i want this bikes
you’d love it! 🙌🏼
15:28 Too bad the heat Shields not made out of titanium cause then you could have took a blow torches to that too and that would have looked cool..
hahahaha that actually is a cool idea that would look insane paired with the titanium system & the carbon heat shield on top of it
6000+$ for a Akrapovic... What about Termignoni? Did you see the 4 uscite full system?
i personally am a huge fan of Akrapovic, to me personally they generally have the best styling & performance! & on top of that their craftsmanship is top notch! 💪🏼
but the Termignoni 4 Uscite exhaust is absolutely gorgeous no doubt 😍
@@motorradboy21 I wouldn’t say it’s a looker, but it’s good value for the power increase you get and the sound is good from it as well. I’m not a fan of the styling though.
@@sp00ky1969 absolutely a great value for the increase in power & awesome sound! 🤘🏼
How long did he take to install? I was thinking of doing mines myself but after this Videos 😅😂😂. Beautiful bike 🦾🦾
i believe the Ducati dealers quote it around a 10 hour job but don’t take my word for it because i’m not 110%
my advice would be to give them a call & see what they say!
i believe we were able to knock it out in like 7-8 hours
What you can’t ride your bike hard enough to have natural pipe color change? Pozer!!!
from what i’ve seen this system doesn’t color as evenly as i’d like naturally bc of all the curves / bends so i decided to give it a unique look by coloring this way!
You cant even spell retard
That exhaust is toast😂 he used map gas too 😂
how is it toast? it’s been over a year now & it still looks great!
Are the cats in the end can on the V4S?
there is no cats on with this system!
I meant in the standard exhaust system. There are always catalytic converters in the base builds of the production line. And can I ask what kind of servo box was that that was connected to the original exhaust when it was removed? I think u called it a servo or sensor when u removed it. Was there something else electrically connected with the titanium system? 👍
Have a good drive😊
thank you! 🙌🏼
I'm jealous .....beautiful!
i appreciate it! hoping you get one 🤘🏼
@@motorradboy21 when I do, you will be the first to know
@@auctevia i’m looking forward to it!
How long did it takes to fit it all in all?
i believe it was like 7-8 hours
Ducati calls for 9 or 10 if i remember correctly
Thx for your answer. Got a full Akrapovic system on my V2 Troy Bail. Last year. Ducati dealer assembled 10 hours, fortunately I m in luck the deal was made price including fit it😊
But….
After a rentet Weekend on the V4S for free, I ordered a new one. I dont belive my duc Garage will make the same deal linke Last year😢😂.
Ive never seen someone do that to the headers 😮
i’ve seen some people do it
It happens naturally. I have a Ti Akra and it happens over time and the blue is more uniform.
@@vintagetrikesandquads4012 it does but i haven’t seen a very consistent amount of color on this particular system personally
More videos please nd dry clutch video next?
He debated on getting dry clutch, but the maintenance is to much, needs replaced around every 6,000 miles. On top of being a $3500 to add it on bike..
i definitely have lots of content / things coming for this bike so videos are on the way! ✊🏼
i’ve debated on doing a dry clutch, but i’ve heard the maintenance is a bit ridiculous on them & they’re a quite expensive just for the assembly / clutch itself. maybe sometime in the future i will add it 👀
Sheeeeeeesh 😮❤
i can’t get over how well it came out! 🤩
Sounds absolutely incredible holyshit and the color of that exhaust shoutout to Keith fr👌🏼😚😩
@@TTT_RACING keith is the man! 💪🏼
thank you brother, i couldn’t be happy with how it came out 😍
Just bought a 2024 Sierra 1500 AT4 exactly a moth ago today, and thanks to you I’ll be headed to Ducati Detroit this week for a new Panigale. In a good way of course, but man have you ruined things for me, LOL! 😩🤦🏽♂️😂
hahaha i’m sorry brother, it’s worth it i promise & come to Rahal Ducati Cleveland instead 😉
Can't believe the ducati workshop doesn't know how to blue exhausts properly
how don’t they?
Which bike is better the BMW s1000rr or this Ducati
it really depends what you’re looking for! they’re very different & have their own unique characteristics that i like about them specifically! ✊🏼
Why didnt you buy underseat Akra dual gp system
i do really like the undertail system a lot but love the underbody one! maybe on the next one i’ll get an undertail 😉
A lot of people call the underneath the seat exhaust, The wheelbarrow exhaust🤣
It definitely would have looked better if they pulled the pipes together like the Original 916
The underneath GP style exhaust, I call those tire warmers.. It almost basically has the heat coming out right on the edges of both sides of the tire
I said it once I’ll say it again art work. The precision and hand movement’s on torching the piping… what a masterpiece legit ties it all together 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🔥
it 100% is, i’m glad you can appreciate it! thank you very much for watching!!! 🙌🏼
That Blueing mmmmmm
isn’t it beautiful 🤩
Nice job jared
jared? 😂 but thank you!
I have to work 20 months to be able to buy that muffler 🤧
i feel you buddy, just keep working hard & try your best to advance in your situation! 💪🏼
i never understad why they threw in the trash the exhaust silencer
....and for this bike its better to use 10-40w oil shell racing
it was just a joke for the video, i still have them! 😂✊🏼 & we used Shell Oil, but not sure which racing oil you’re exactly referring to. Are you talking about the one you can put into the V4R & make the 240HP?
Nice video but making your exhaust blue with a heater... Just give more gas!
lol
😂✊🏼
if only these colored more naturally i definitely would but i think how it came out looks very unique & is a great look! 🤘🏼
@@987laurens i understand where you’re coming from! ✊🏼 & hell yeah, i’ve heard those are a blast!

the V4 makes incredible power & sound but it does run warm but it’s fine for me!
Great job ... good
i really appreciate it! 🙌🏼
I lov this machine
you & i both ❤️ it’s absolutely phenomenal
my favourite bike
one of my favorites as well! 🙌🏼
Dude, that plate # of yours is so fancy.. 😁😁😁
what do you mean exactly by the plate #?
@@motorradboy21 license plate bro..😘
@@blinkq8821 ah, it’s just a temporary tag!
@@motorradboy21 all the same it’s a gorgeous bike. I’m planning on picking one up next year. Really love the exhaust too. Sounds amazing
Why is he coloring the exhaust with a torch instead of it happening naturally?
i typically do my exhaust systems naturally, but with this particular system it doesn’t color as evenly as the look i was looking for so we decided to do it with the torch instead! ✊🏼
If I’m paying 6k it’s gonna be a undertail termignoni ,,
That set up looks like an average slip on . We know it’s not but when all the plastics are back on it looks simple
the undertail termi looks super cool! & yeah unfortunately a lot of it is hidden but it is what it is
why even rev it in 2 cylinder mode? always rev it in 4 cylinder mode guys!! That's why it sounds better "out here" because it is in gear and all 4 cylinder are firing instead or just the 2 when in neutral.
it still sounds great when 2 cylinders are firing but i get where you’re coming from, it’s ideal to rev it when all 4 are firing!
Nice
