The way you described "writing like Conan Doyle" is the way most writers get started - blatantly imitating what we love to read (though typical writer's ego keeps them from admitting this very often later on). I am more sure than ever that you will eventually be a writer. 👍🙂😺 It is becoming clear that "The Hunger Games" books are the "Lord of the Rings" of your generation! Your "awkward endings" are an original specialty of yours, keep them coming 👍

totally feel the thing about starting a BookTube channel because you feel there's not enough content pertaining to what you like. so much of BookTube is just popular book stuff, so it's fun to make different content.
also I know I commented about Rules Of Attraction on your Bret video but damn I love that book. it was one of the ones that changed my attitudes to things too!

How many books do you allow yourself to actively have going at one time? I'm having a problem with this at the moment: I've got like four going right now and it's slowing me down a lot. What's your advice on this? Also, I'm from Chicago, and when I was young my parents and I would spend parts of our summers in Puerto Rico, so when you mentioned going to holiday in Columbia I flashed back to my youth. I'm digging your channel, I'm looking forward to future reviews, and your thoughts on our great authors.

I usually have three going max, and it’s typically one big (500+pg) book, one average sized books, and maybe like a nonfiction book. It becomes easy to rotate between them because they’re each interesting and paced in their own way! And that’s so cool. I wish ohare actually had direct flights to Colombia haha. Thanks for your support!

I tried to give a review of a book without editing in one of my last videos. Attempted to keep myself from saying "like" and "um." Didn't work at all so really good job. I think you missed my question tho and I'm sad lol.

Thanks for your answer, I will look up those authors.
Illinois, same state as Richard Powers not sure if you have read him. I predict your channel will grow faster than you can believe.
Have you read Gabriel Garcia Marquez, the great Colombian author?
