I absolutely love this lay out especially the smaller but fully functioning kitchen with more living space for seating and entertaining. I personally don't care for conversions with huge kitchens but sacrificed tiny uncomfortable looking living spaces. This is ideal for one person. As a female who would be solo, I'd only change one thing and that's, less windows for me for privacy. Great build. Thank you for sharing.
Really turned out great. Love hearing about all the reclaimed stuff. Few things I would change but that’s personal preference. You could build these for people when things are slow for your building company! It certainly would be easy enough and there are plenty of people who like using reclaimed items! Hope your son enjoys his new digs! Vaya con Dios!!
Very cool layout. I live in a converted short bus currently and have for the last 4 years. Really like the passenger seat and the couch. It's rare to see a kitchen in the back like that, I love it. Nice job.
@@BradtheBuilder it’s very smart! Pretty original as well. That’s what I love about it. I’ve watched HUNDREDS of bus tours between trying to design mine and just enjoying them, that layout is super rare. But looking at it, it totally makes sense! ❤️
Thank You for sharing this bus turned home on wheels. The seating arrangement is outrageous .Perfect for inviting friends inside to visit. Sleeping areas easily converts into beds. I think maybe a curtain for the larger sleeping area in case someone wants to sleep in or a visitor wakes up early. Beautiful bathrm door adds character to the vibe of the bus. I like the color white for the outside. The name hmm.. Would need to think about that one . I would love to add a woman's touch. Plants , wicker baskets and black wrought iron storage baskets. Wrought iron light fixtures Things or items to add warmth to the inside. Maybe more of the bathrm colored wood door, like a shelf.
Beautiful and so functional. I would like to see you keep the bus totally white to keep it cooler in the summer. If that doesn't matter to you, I would say let your son decide how to paint it, and what to name it. Great job, dad!!!
I think a collage of different colours would look cool. It depends on what your son is into. Like for me it would be covered in Deadpool and books. Absolutely would love to see you all take that thing camping. Personally I love the minimalist approach you took without sacrificing aesthetics, comfort and convenience. If you show this to Flair i bet he goes on Facebook marketplace looking for busses eight after...
Brad. If he's able to block the emergency backdoor and window, maybe build a foldable deck that connects to the trailer hitch. The deck could be folded up for storage/ driving. He'll just need to fold it down, open the backdoor and have a huge area to hangout. If you design the deck to follow the contour of the bus, he won't have to worry about creating additional drag while driving.
Great job Brad. It really is very nice. Happy Fathers Day to you Brad and please tell your son thank you for his service for me. I really enjoy your videos.

Great workmanship. Take it from an OCD Nomad, There's a lot of wasted space. Just saying. Love the bathroom door. There is a shower you could've installed and with a portable composting toilet that stores in shower when not in use. A lot of RV'ers are converting their flushing toilets to compost. Easier using 'no smell' pine pellets and no cost to dump.

Love this!!! Color? White is great to reflect sun but hard to keep clean, so maybe a two-tone gray (lighter on top, darker on bottom)? Some shade of gray, imo, is a great color (charcoal is my fav). Name? A retired vet (in a UA-cam video) named her bus "Sarge" which fit her & the bus. 🙂 Since it is a retired school bus, maybe a name having to do with summer, like Summer Ride or Summer Fun? Reminds me of the song School's Out For Summer. 😃 Have fun choosing your color(s) and name! Question: where can ppl get ahold of RV fold out sofas/chairs like you found? Great fit!
I found a lot of the materials & supplies at this website “RecPro”! I like some of your names and color ideas… Thanks so much for watching I hope you check out some of my other videos👍

Love it brad need to find more jobs like this
Winters coming so I need to find some indoor projects 👍
Love this!!! Color? White is great to reflect sun but hard to keep clean, so maybe a two-tone gray (lighter on top, darker on bottom)? Some shade of gray, imo, is a great color (charcoal is my fav).
Name? A retired vet (in a UA-cam video) named her bus "Sarge" which fit her & the bus. 🙂 Since it is a retired school bus, maybe a name having to do with summer, like Summer Ride or Summer Fun? Reminds me of the song School's Out For Summer. 😃
Have fun choosing your color(s) and name!
Question: where can ppl get ahold of RV fold out sofas/chairs like you found? Great fit!
I found a lot of the materials & supplies at this website “RecPro”!
I like some of your names and color ideas… Thanks so much for watching I hope you check out some of my other videos👍
This the best lay outI've seen for thee buses.
Awesome build
Thanks! 👍🎺
Hey, a better idea for the table is to have a pole that clicks into a small hole in the floor and table top to have the counter, but unclicks and is stored away If you need the bed
Also what kind of couch is that?
you did an amazing job!
Thank you! 🤠🎺
this is simply great❤
Thanks 👍🎺
