    Hi there!
How do you go to the centre village from St Emilion train station?
We are 9 and we don’t want to walk 😊
Is it easy to get taxis? Uber?
    Thank you!!

Hi there! We didn’t take public transportation while there, as we drove from another city. Did you check with your hotel if they have pickup?
Also, there are many wineries that are close to the station and can be reached with just a 10 min walk! (Check out our answer to a similar question below)

hello thank u for the video! i have a question please. I will be visiting Saint Emilion without a car, so basically I start from the train station. I saw that Château de Pressac is about 1.5 hours of walking.. i was wondering if i'd be walking inside the village and then i get to the chateau and so the walk isnt that bad.. I could then also walk and enjoy the village till i get there.
If not, do u have any recommendation for those coming on foot?

Hi Aline! There are many wineries that can be reached by foot within 10-15 minutes from (and through) St. Emilion, but unfortunately Chateau de Pressac is not one of them ☹
By car it’s about 10-15 minutes from the town, so a private or shared ride is probably the easiest way. Not sure about public transportation though.
During our research, these are some of the wineries/chateaux that came up really close to the town: Château Guadet, Château Villemaurine, Château Petit-Gravet. A bit further out (but still walkable distance): Chateau Soutard, Château Beau-Séjour Bécot, Château Canon-la-Gaffelière, Château Coutet. However, we did not visit them so we don’t quite know if they’re worth it.
Let us know how your search goes and if you have any additional questions! Oh, and make sure to buy tickets in advance as usually the tours are by appointment only. Hope this helps!
ps when in Saint Emilion, we highly recommend restaurant Le Tertre (it’s in our video)
