Tim, Tim, TIm... you're killing me, man. I've been flying the JF Arrow III/IV for about 1.5 years. All that time, I've been dumb and happy with my preflight (excluding the walk around). After watching your video I'm learning just how wrong I have been - even down to departing full throttle with the Turbo caution light illuminated, which I thought was correct on take-off but was to be pulled back after 1000` AGL. I saw somewhere that cruise manifold pressure should be somewhere between 30 and 35 so I've been setting it accordingly. Had no clued about the gear extension button or a few other things you mentioned. I guess I don't read enough. Thanks for posting this video.

    Brilliant presentation.
    Thank you very, very much.
I wonder how the same JF model will be presented in MSFS ???

Hi Tim. Great video! You can move REP's menu using REP's settings window under plugins->SimCoders REP -> settings.

For your information, they have introduced a bit of offset for the rep menu to not overlaid with the JF menu. In case you have this in the future you can bind a key to start a walkaround rather than clicking the menu. Just look in the plugin provided menu in the key assignment of XP11.
PS: all checks and standardized procedure for Arrow turbo mention to use lo fuel pump on take off and landing. You don t use it irl actually? Because those checklists come from real world. Thanks

I think you can move the JF menu arrow by either right click and dragging it, or scroll your mousewheel while the cursor is at the left edge of the screen. Walk-arounds for everyone!

Tim, I'm really enjoying this flight and your instruction. Just as an FYI, it's cheating as far as flying the plane true to real life, but if you click on the word "Piper" above the Hdg indicator on the autopilot mode selector, the autopilot will hold the altitude. So it can give you a break if you tire of holding the altitude manually. It's a little cheater JF put in the autopilot. Thanks, again for a really educational video. By any chance do you have the C210 Centurian with the REP? If you do, that would be a great tutorial.

Hi Tim. I just purchased this aircraft from JF and your video will be very helpful in bringing me up to speed. One question it looks like you replaced the default GPS with a RealityXP GTN750. Correct?

I know this is the turbo version which is as of this writing is not yet available for MSFS. Would you say the Arrow is more realistic in one sim vs the other? Thanks.

Hello tim, do you use head tracking or vr? If so, which do you use?
