Before anything else, super special thanks to Circus for making this song work. I wrote it in a pretty bad headspace, and was completely stuck on where it should go. Producing this song as well as remixing Both Of Us for SYNTECH-, he did a lot of work, and I'm super grateful.
Also huge thanks to Fenori, who did an absolutely marvelous job on the illustration. Thank you for dealing with my moodboard and making sense of it into something tangible and beautiful, I love it so much.
I won't really talk too much about what this song is about. It speaks for itself, a lot of time. Just know that, for me personally, it's a reminder that even in my darkest moments, at least I'm doing my best to be the best I can be.
And ultimately, that's the best thing we can ask ourselves to be.

This was my most listened to song in 2021 and has been my favorite song since 2020. I guarantee it’ll be in my top 5 again on Spotify this year. No other song speaks to me the same way, has saved my life so many times, or can be played when I’m sad or happy. It’s a masterpiece.

Weird ask on a four year old cover video of a vocaloid song, but I’m gonna ask here anyway because this song is fire.
Im already familiar with music theory and DAW softwares, is using the vocaloid or AI voice programs super different from usual audio edit softwares? Or is it pretty easy to understand and use?
For starters this is the original version, though I’m glad to know that people are finding it from the VOCALOID version.
Vocal synthesis software such as VOCALOID, Synthesizer V Studio, CeVIO and UTAU, to name a few, function similarly to any software that contains midi input via. piano roll. If you have experience with that sort of thing, the learning curve comes from the lyrical input and phonetic adjustment aspects of those tools, and each one behaves differently from each other, though it does vary.

There are also AI tools that can generate a new vocal with a new voice by processing on top of an existing recording. I’m unfamiliar with these and cannot speak to the workflow at all.

I mean, I am the voice provider for the VOCALOID. If you didn't like the VOCALOID version as much, it's more reasonable to potentially like mine instead.
