Love me some Disturbed! :) their cover of the Simon and Garfunkel song "The sound of silence" is must hear but not their typical style. some of my others favorites from this band are "The light", "Stricken", "Stupify" and then we have their newest stuff that have changed a little but still good in my mind. From the new album i would suggest songs like "A reason to fight", "Hold on to memories" and "In another time".
this is a fight song. I think they wrote it explicitly for the troops going to war in the middle east. best workout song ever! Definitely check out their song Who Taught You How To Hate? there is a lyric video on their channel I believe. the lyrics are good and the hook is classic. This is a great band. More great Disturbed songs: Haunted, Hell, Prayer, Remember, Asylum, Another Way to Die all here on UA-cam. stick with the album versions, they are great live but i prefer the album versions.

Indestructible was the very first Disturbed song I heard 12 years ago, and I've had a "Disturbed" love affair with this band every since!!! Lil secret, I'm a 57 y/o ww too.

This was one of my favorite bands growing up and throughout my time as an active duty Marine. They have always had a POWERFUL sound as a band, but over the years they have developed a much more polished sound, in my opinion. Go back and listen to anything off of there initial album after this one, and then FINALLY listen to "The Sound of Silence" cover. David Draiman {vocalist} has an INSANE range.
