Perfection😱💚
Love how you can make a single leaf so beautiful!
I love your theme song. Most of all, I love your channel, your teachings and...yes, your outtakes! Thank you 🙏 for being YOU! I’ll have to re-watch this one several times so that I can try it. Grateful for you 😍
Your work are so beautiful. I just love looking at your work. I think you are an amazing artist. Your style is amazing & looks so complex because you shade so well. Your work are so realistic. It's what I'm going after in watercoloring plants. I'm glad you teach us how to do watercolor and take the mystery out of it. I'm so glad I found you on UA-cam.
Thanks so much for this tutorial. Your instruction is the best! My grandmother would call those leaves elephant ears.
Love your tutorials....really helpful.

Hi Louise, Love this video. Can you think about doing a video on on different kind of leaves?
I’ve been under the weather for a while, but your videos really perk me up! Carolyn
Hi Louise, l've just started learning WC (i'm currently using my father's old set because ya know learning lol) I was wondering if you could give me a hint on the types of brushes you use, one of your videos you mentioned a scrubber brush or something for removing paint but not sure what it was so I can look for it on line ( I live in Perth so art supplies are limited to online really ) thanks in advance. I'm so lucky I stumbled across I've learned so much just in the past week :D
Hello, a great picture and thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I am from Germany and have already learned a lot from you.
I would like to know why you attach the paper with clips. It looks like an adhesive strip that was stapled afterwards?
Many greetings Bianca
Thank you Bianca. I stretch the paper before I use so it won't buckle and pucker. That white strip is water activated tape that I put on when the paper is wet. Sometimes, for a reason I don't know, the tape lifts off the paper before it dries which causes the paper to pucker. So if it starts to do that I put some staples in it to hold it flat.
@@LouiseDeMasiThank you ❤
What can I use in place of the perylene green? Hookers green? Thanks. I literally have every other green except that one lol. Great tutorial
Thanks Tara. Maybe you could mix some Paynes Grey or Indigo or something like that into one of the greens you have and see if that gives a similar dark green.
Thanks for a great tutorial. Do you use a core set of colours most of the time or will I need to buy additional colours if I plan to try all your tutorials on Patreon? I have a 24+ colour palette of mostly Sennelier.
Hi Janice. My pleasure and thank you! I use Winsor & Newton, Daniel Smith and a few Schmincke colours ( mainly Winsor & Newton). I've provided my patrons with a list of colours that I use most often. I'm not familiar with the Sennelier range I'm sorry. I don't place a great deal of importance on using the exact same colours that I use. It's more important to focus attention on colour value (meaning the lightness and darkness of colour and how it compares to the colours around it). I tell my students to use a colour that they have that's similar to mine, it doesn't have to be the same. I don't have a colour chart for Sennelier but I'm sure it would be easy to find one online and then I could help you choose from the colours you have and substitute them with the colours that I use.
