- The Eastside of Oahu is also known as the Windward Coast. East Oahu roughly covers Kailua, Waimanalo, and Hawaii Kai. In the last video, I showed you my hometown of Kaneohe. Now, I want to show you the rest of the Eastside.
I'll be your local Hawaiian guide and show you the 20 best things to do and eat in East Oahu! We start with the city of Kailua to Waimanalo and end at Hawaii Kai. Did I mention that we have some of the best beaches in the world, attractions, scenic routes, and hikes? I'm always hungry too, so join me for some best local foods in the area. Great video! I lived in Hawaii Kai from my high school years on. This was back when they didn't charge for Hanauma Bay. My best friend's father was caretaker down there and they lived in an apartment above the concession stand. We were lucky enough to spend many nights with our guitars, singing on the beach. So many memories!

We rent a car everytime we visit oahu there's so much to do than stay in waikiki... we've been 3x and still not done exploring. I love Oahu❤ greetings from Texas

Where is the best place to rent a car ?
@@burhanbey4782 Just rented from Budget for 7 days from Jan 8-14 right at the airport. Costed me $300 for a Jeep Cherokee. Another person rented from Turo (like AirBnB, but for cars) for about the same price. Their car was VW Tiguan.
Any advice for a fellow Texan , traveling in few weeks

Greetings from Southern California. Loved this video! We hiked up the Makapu'u Lighthouse once about 5 years ago and saw several whales. We were very lucky! Also hiked up to the top of Kokohead . Took me a long time as I'm getting older, and I knew that was probably my only chance to ever do that. 😊

Great to see some eating places I can check out when we are there in November, oh by the way you were on the Here to Eternity beach. Always good to throw in the movie locations, who doesn't want try their hand at being Elvis on those amazingly beautiful islands of yours.😊

My grandparents lived in Kaneohe and I got to fly out from Virginia to visit them a few times growing up. Cinnamon's is legendary not only to locals, but to me as well!

I love the Cinnamon's right next to Ala Moana! Guava chiffon pancakes...I could swim in that forever! The water right next to the Illikai makes it relaxing too! LOVE the east side! I have done most of these activities on previous trips and LOVE Kailua Beach and Manoa Chocolate!! Lanakai Pillbox was my first hike ever and I was freaking out lol. It was worth it! And Koko Crater was hard but I made it!! Oahu has made me push my limits for sure.

Yes I did. And got the footage. Also they give the free tickets to the Sea Life Park. I gave them to the hotel staff with kids. Yes it did look like a rabbit.

I did Crouching Lion and Olomana today. Amazing Sean did Olomana on a rainy day. Muddy in the beginning. Had a good hiking boots with gloves. Must have gloves. Make it easy for you to climb

I went to the food company and ordered what Sean ordered. Hotyaj chicken. It is really good. This place is take out only and corned beef is not the same as the mainland. Had to wait for a while. But still good.

Have never hiked Diamond Head and really wanted to do it later this year but my girl wants to get away from skyscrapers and don’t think she will be down for the Diamond Head hike. Thinking the Pillbox hike and the beaches below would be an excellent alternative. Thank you for a great video.
