You helped me sooo much these last two years since I first found you! I wanted to be hot and beautiful even though I was in my mid-40s, but I didn’t know how to pull it off! Not anymore! Today (as a prime example) I wore the layered look: ivory Moto jacket, blush cami from express, light wash skinny jeans, and a pair of light gray booties. I strutted my stuff and had a girl in her 20s say “that outfit is so cute” as I walked by her! I used to feel alive like this when I was much younger. Thank you Erin WITH ALL MY HEART for helping me to regain my confidence!!!!! You’re the best!
I’m far from rich, but since following your tips and tricks, I’ve gotten compliments from friends and family. Even my casual looks are more elevated thanks to your suggestions. Just having stuff that fits properly and knowing FINALLY how to put things together well has made a world of difference. I can’t wait to incorporate some of these from this video!
Your opening line was hilarious. You had me at "I want to look sloppy & poor" I actually work with ladies who say something similar "I want to be comfortable & I don't care what others think". I say to them, well you are rocking that. Hey too each her own. LOVE this video!!!
The content in this video was impressive. I learned a great deal about how to elevate pieces I already own. The suggestion about changing out buttons makes perfect sense. Thanks, Erin!
I have a coach bag and a leather Kate Spade that I purchased over a decade ago. They still look fantastic, like they're brand new. In contrast, I was buying junk bags, wearing them for a month and then they'd be falling apart and scratched or marked up, and I'd be done with them. I realized that buying the cheap bags was a total waste of money, and contributing to the "throw away," fashion waste. So now I'm resisting the urge and saving up for a nice, luxe bag instead of giving in and getting a cute but cheap bag.
I read an article about adding color, pattern, texture, and shine to elevate your wardrobe, making it look more interesting. This video hits on some of those tips and...it really works!
I am in love with all of your tips and tricks for everything, Erin!! So in love with the puffy sleeve that is happening right now! You have helped me elevate my style to a place that I am so in love with now! :) Thank you! Good luck in the house move. Sending loads of positive vibes to you and your family.
POW! POW! POW! Great tip after great tip and showing the before and after really drives the point home! Thanks for all your work on this: you are a blessing!
My skin often gets allergic to jeans buttons, so I developed a habit of changing buttons (about 60% is not stylish enough) blouse, cardigan, pants, even decorative buttons. Mostly non-expensive decent classy buttons, but sometimes I break the bank and strategically buy very extra and luxy ones, either classy or extra
Best take away - 1. don’t walk out the door wearing something that doesn’t make you feel good because Confidence is most important. 2. Shop your closet, you don’t have to run out and spend a lot of money shopping for new items. #2 is going to be a challenge for me. 😆
Thank you!! I have a veronica beard leather blazer and it can make PJs look expensive!!( I dont wear my pjs out🤪). Truly a great investment piece. Trouble is once you have something so nice and well made - you want more.
Erin, this was wonderful! Thanks to you I've invested in all new Soma vanishing back fat bras and panties! A plain t-shirt looks soooo much better now! I am also going through the checklist. I didn't realize I was missing a plain black and plain white long sleeve t-shirts. That will help so much! I love your humor and quality of content. Keep it up! I can't imagine anyone giving you a thumbs down.
You are just an amazing, beautiful and inspirational woman, Erin! If you can't inspire us to elevate our looks, I don't know who can! Thank you for helping us do so, but also, speaking for myself anyway, helping us realize that we all deserve to look our best! Virtual hugs!
Love this video Erin! I find stylish, expensive looking clothing styling is similar to interior design (my love) styling. Classic colors, texture and balance mixed with pops of trends!❤️
I saw that rag and bone hat at Nordstrom's and it was something like $150 -- not exactly a budget hack! I also think that the two outfits you showed to compare, the green army jacket and distressed jeans compared to the all-black outfit weren't a really good comparison. Sometimes I like to dress informally and while I would not do jeans that were distressed to that extent, I think a nice army jacket, Tee and blue jeans and boots look very nice. On the whole, really enjoyed your comments and do like the idea of upscaling without spending a whole lot of money. I actually buy quite a few things on eBay - I've gotten some killer Stuart Weitzman boots and shoes there - and it is a tremendous savings. So thank you for this kind of video and I am now subscribed!
Welcome, Heidi! The budget hack was to find a few higher end accessories that you can combine with lower price pieces to elevate your looks. These accessories typically can be paired with many outfits so you will get more bang for your buck. xo
Another super video! I often add a hat to my outfits and I always get compliments when I do. Also, tailoring makes a huge difference, both in how the pieces look and flatter your body but also with how confident you feel wearing them. Thanks Erin.
I wish I could say I agree with your first statement, but in fact..i do often try to look "Sloppy" or "poor" as I live in a town part of the year, where looking anything but that, will get some eyebrows raised, heads turned, and bad attention sadly. :( I have such gorgeous clothes and most of the time, I cannot wear them. It's too bad. Many are scared for being judged for looking sloppy or poor. I get scared of being judged for the opposite! Can't win in this world. Great video. I love your content!
I hear ya! Erins “trendy” more sloppy look would be what my peers would be wearing where I live, in s suburb of Denver. The Dynasty look with puffed sleeves is not happening here. I feel more uncomfortable overdressed.
Thank you, Talia! I'm sorry to hear that. I live in a town that is super casual, but I love to dress up. Sometimes I do get looks, but I've decided that it's more important for me to dress in a way that makes me feel comfortable and confident. I no longer care what others may think...I dress for myself! xo
I understand because I currently live in a small beach town where flip flops and very casual clothing are the norm but I echo Erin's reply. Wear your gorgeous clothes! I don't give a flip (or a flop) what people think. I dress up to go to Whole Foods and often get compliments from people I don't know. Women have literally shouted across the parking lot, Hey, I Love those boots, outfit--whatever. I just want to encourage you to wear whatever makes you happy.
Hi Talia, I am a 41 year old woman who loves fashion and loves to dress nice All THE TIME, and I mean ALL THE TIME. Since I was pretty young I had felt the stares left and right, so by now I think I had developed thicker skin.Talia, you should dress the way you like, what makes you happy. Do not worry about other people. Life is too short, enjoy what you have and wear it like a PRO. Don't be concerned about others❤
Erin, today online I bought 3 Veronica Beard blazers on sale at Bergdorfs. Basically your idea, I didn’t know that brand til you! They are stunning and I hope they fit, as I plan this to be my new spring look for 2021 in NY ( not today though, we have a huge snow blizzard going on now). Thanks for helping learn that elegant and expensive looking touch you’re so great at.
I just invested in a Veronica Beard Blazer after watching you feature them for years. and it was literally the best money I have spent in a long time. Talk about elevating the most simple outfit!
She bought one a few years back (the basic black one) from the Nordy Anniversary sale and I could not wrap my mind around the price. The last 2 sales I haven’t loved them and I’ve been kicking myself for not snagging that black one up!! Glad you got one and love it! I’m keeping my eyes peeled! 🤞🏼
I wear my designer belt, bag, nice shoes with my Old Navy clothes lol. I just ordered that Express blazer (through Rakuten of course) and will be ordering new buttons!
I love shades of brown and ecru for my skin tone (I’m Indian) and I feel like these shades suit our skin tone so well! It tends to bring out the golden tone in our skin tones! I’m in my mid thirties and I’m already leaning towards a lot of your tips while building my wardrobe (getting rid of those crop tops and colourful printed tops was a huge step for me! ) I love your tips Erin! Your videos help women all over the world!
Oops, your monochromatic example was missing! Switched into a burgundy jacket, white cami, blue jeans and brown booties. Darn! I LOVE monochromatic dressing and wanted that exampke😊
I have featured the monochromatic look in many of my previous videos in this series. Here is a link to the playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PL6xMaBj8Zyg_tkwrQIu9ze83NU78rwkgp.html
I swear you could make a garbage bag look chic and modern AF. I love how you present your videos. I am more of a designer gal so I would love to see more designer/ high end videos if I could be so bold and make a request. Another Erin video and totally crushed it!!!
Your videos are getting better and better in regardes to content. Love the side by side comparisons - game changers and so useful to understand what you are trying to say. Thank you!
Thank you bc I'm 48 and been trying to change my wardrobe. This have been the best styling tip advice ever. My first time to your channel. I hit subscribe right away before I started watching I knew you were going to bring it on!!! Two snaps and twirl you go girl!!!
All awesome tips! Leather sure elevates any outfit! I bought four of them at one garage sale for about $20 for all! They were new looking! I have always also purchased my high end items used on Ebay. I had a large Coach purse collection. When I was over it, I sold most of them on EBay and made more $ than what I had originally spent. I look for top quality brands, like Jones New York, Ralph Lauren, and interesting one of a kind vintage pieces.
Looove love your tips, from top to bottom, specially when you said “shop your closet” Do what you think is best for you” “ Think strategically “ etc. Thanks Erin.😉💕
Thank you for keeping it real not everyone can afford a wardrobe full of designer brands. I’ve been binge watching your videos. I like your style and I’m also the same age! Best wishes from the UK 😊
Fabulous video Erin full of amazing tips!! I'm going to swap out a few buttons - I love that idea!! And standing up straight and having confidence was a reminder I needed today! Thank you!!!
Love this video Erin! Just simple adjustments can make all the difference! I love my Kobi Halperin puff sleeve black blazer too! It’s definitely one of my luxury investment pieces. 🥰💖
That puff sleeve white button up would look so nice with the double buckle Alexander McQueen belt ♥♥♥ or any cool belt really. Great info, love your style!
A note on Rakuten- it is totally worth it! I don't refer anyone (which can pay more money but who wants to solicit your friends and family?) I have used it for online shopping and have earned just over $200 a year. Either paper check or deposit to your paypal. Definitely worth trying if y9ou are a shopper
Hello again Erin, 🍁🍂 HAPPY FALL 🍂🍁 Loved this video so much. Jammed packed with fashion info 👗 I did exactly what you suggested....I changed the buttons on one of my blazers. I added my " metal brass with anchors buttons" to a newer blazer I wasn't wearing much. Now......It's my favourite ~ go to piece~ Your hard work and information is beyond helpful. Great work Erin and Thank you.....🙋🏼👍🏻
Another great video Erin. I just purchased a black blazer with beautiful structure and fit. However,I didn’t like the button so I ordered metal ones and it truly made a huge difference 😊
THE BEST! Loving what you've been doing lately. You are the BOSS LADY extraordinaire! Beautiful woman and inspiring. Love from 54 years old here in NYC. I was feeling a bit lost with my style till I found you! xo
I have a chloe bag, coach etc...but my favorite purchase is my PRADA sunglasses from goodwill for 1.99! (Yes they've been authenticated) I'm going to put my prescription lenses in them. So fun!!! Love your chanel🙂
I just ordered that express jacket and the button swap is a great idea! I've gotten some really great tips. I'm obsessed with an elevated white button up.
I hate to iron too. An at home, more professional steamer, and a good travel steamer are essential to my life. I live in the deep South, and we iron our jeans, underwear and sheets (I just steam mine). 🤣 And changing out buttons - YES!!! I did this all through high school and college when I was beyond broke, and people always thought I spent way more money on my clothes than I could possibly afford.
Fantastic video!!! Just absolutely fantastic!!! So I am sure it is dependent on every person but do you have guidelines on where to spend and where to save? Thanks to you I have discovered why I feel I have nothing to wear...I lack the basics. My goal now is to start building a wardrobe and I feel like I need everything in this video...lol. Also I love you channel, your style is amazing, elegant elevated basics that will stand the test of time!!!
@@BusbeeStyle thank you so much. I appreciate your help. I’m sorry I think I didn’t phrase my question correctly. I was wondering more about spending vs saving under the basics umbrella. Say for example you are building a persons basics from scratch, are there certain basic pieces that you suggest spending more on vs ones you could possibly save on? Thanks so much and again sorry. Love your channel!! You are amazing and have helped me so much with so many aspects of self acceptance, self love, a better body image and learning how to dress myself correctly. Just thank you so so much. Just keep being amazing and sharing your wonderful self!
Finding pieces to match my age that are trendy, like the teddy bear jackets, is a challenges sometimes. I love those looks, but feel they look so young. Loving all your tips Erin, THANK YOU!!💗
Loved the chanel button as a necklace idea! The site above was mostly sold out but I found two vintage chanel buttons on ETSY for $25 that I should be able to turn into necklaces (one for me and one for my sis) thanks for the great tip!
I LOVED the trendy/posh looks. The first one reminds me of Gwen Stefanis style. She’s my style icon. I wish you would do an episode about her. She’s another 50+ woman that has AMAZING style!
Great video Erin! I like the button changing idea, in fact I just purchased new buttons for a thrifted cashmere cardigan. I bought simple charcoal buttons to replace 6 different buttons! I guess that was a thing at one time.
wow that veronica beard leather blazer is just awesome (never heard about it), i googled it. and they are 1500 euros. definitely not a budget piece unfortunately, but awesome. you have really-really nice content even if i am just 27 ;) actually in my country (middle europe) the most difficult is to get nice basic pieces. eg. a white sleeveles top you are wearing at the beginning of the vid is something i ve been looking for years now and would really happy to have it :D same with basic white shirts and tee. still looking for the perfect one:D last summer i ve bought 5 white t-shirt but none of them worked out :D maybe the problem roots in me :D
It's a great piece, but is definitely an investment. I hope that you are able to keep these style elements in mind as you shop in your local stores. xo
Hi Erin, This video is definitely on my playlist. Great 10 style tips. Thank you for providing your expertise! I've been using Rakuten for years and it's a great app. It does much more than cashback on your online purchases. I've lusted/loved the Veronica Beard leather jacket (every time you showcase it), but not the price point. For those that love this jacket as well, Express has a vegan leather dupe that is really very nice. I purchased mine in tan and the fit shows off my figure beautifully. Something that is always a hit or miss for me with Express. Also, it's similar to the dark blazer Erin mentions in this video. Thanks again and Enjoy Today! 😍💕🤗
What a great bunch of tips! Unfortunately it’s already too cold where I live to get much use out of a blazer now, but come spring I plan to buy that gorgeous Veronica Beard black blazer!
I have elevated a look with inexpensive clothes with a statement necklace or, even earrings to the point that when asked, they are surprised that, hey, that shirt actually came from Target!
Busbee Style - Fashion Over 40 I’m about to order that belt and worried about which size to get. I wear 28-29 waist in jeans. Any suggestions would be much appreciated
I signed up for your newsletter and don’t get either the basics checklist or the newsletter. I don’t know what I did wrong. The reason I signed up for is I lost 110 lbs and I literally building a wardrobe from scratch.
Really awesome tips, thank you, Erin! So I am curious whether color is also luxe [and not only black brown, beige, white et al]. As an example, 1901 has a mandarin colored blazer [see Nordstrom, 1901, color is Red Bittersweet, AS433507MI]] that is so pretty, but I am hesitant because you do not mention these colors as "luxe". Thoughts?
Make it lux by rockin it. Be the trend setter. I just bought a canary yellow 100% cashmere polo Ralph Lauren sweater at Ross stores for $20. Never wore the color before but I am going to start LOL
Thank you so much for all of these tips. I am thinking about about adding a fuzzy jacket and a faux jacket to my wardrobe. I just bought a long Cardigan the other day and it made a huge difference to my wardrobe.
I've lived my entire life (almost 75 years) always looking very stylish and on trend, without ever buying anything high-end designer. I have been gifted bags by Kate Spade and Coach, but they probably don't even classify as high-end designer. I don't wear belts, as they do not flatter my shape. I have always been thin and petite, but I have a large bust and belts to seem to emphasize that. My go-to stores are Nordstrom and Anthropologie so I always try to look classy with a little boho thrown in 😊 I think with what's available now, people can definitely look stylish and "rich" without purchasing high-end designer. I would only justify it if you could find a screaming deal from a resale site. With that being said, I do love your videos and tips, Erin! 💕 Also, Rakuten sounds a lot like Shoptagr. Is it better/the same??
Please don't misunderstand, Trisha...I am recommending high quality investment pieces which by no means have to be designer. These are pieces that instantly elevate an outfit. No need for labels if that's not something that you enjoy. The resale market is a wonderful place to find these types of items. Rakuten is similar, but is just for cash back. xo
Excellent! I really love this video! Whereas I don't buy these expensive brands that you show, you make it so that I can look for something that is similar in a less expensive Target type situation. Thanks
Thank you for your efforts!!! Since watching your channel I have learned so much! Fit and flatter, one skin rule, high waisted jeans are life, so much great content every time I watch. Just today, I scored a black silk v neck tunic and ivory cashmere sweater at the thrift store for $8. Lily Silk video showed me the importance of luxe fabrics and how much better I feel wearing real fibers. Keep up the awesome style work, It matters to us out in the hills of Arkansas!
WOW! All your videos are great, but this one was truly exceptional! The amount of practical, accessible information you give in this video puts this one in a league of its own. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise so freely with us. We are so enriched by your content and your generosity! P.S. What shirt are you wearing in this video (when you're giving the tips)? Please link to it!
Hi Erin please do more videos like this one. This was a great great video! I dressed people for a living. It was very hard to get them to buy the third piece that makes the outfit pop!! I love love your style. It’s every day or take it up a notch.
My strategy is to not necessarily buy a high end bag, but to have a few very expensive looking bags and purses and wear expensive looking shoes. Then, I can wear cheap well fitting jeans and a white tee, and, use a hair straightener and trendy sunglasses--when I follow my own bag, shoes, hair and sunglasses rule, people always comment how "well dressed" I am
I am not rich, but I sure look like, because all the tips you are giving on this video I already apply in my life, I love sunglass, hats, scarves, belts, and jelwery, thank you Busbee for reinforcing this trends
I feel like your tips really work with skinny jeans! Skinny jeans make everything look put together. Can you do a similar video but with bootcut/flare/palazzo pants? I always struggle to style large pants Edit: great video! Thank you
Thank you! I've been peppering in some more looks with baggy, loose fitting, and flare pants in a bunch of recent videos. I will be continuing to do so since there are so many more options available this season. xo
Great video especially love that u offer designer and budget friendly options !! That steamer is fantastic!! What’s going on with handbag 👜??? I can’t wait 😊.
Tailor, tailor, tailor your clothes. That is my biggest style secret. I am sooooo lucky - my neighbor 2 doors down is a wonderfully talented lady who tailors my clothes for a song, but it makes such a tremendous difference that I would pay much more if I had to. And choose signature pieces of jewelry. When you express your unique style through accessories, you make everyday basics look great!
Yassss Erin! This was an excellent video. I love the mixing of casual and sophisticated to soften an elevated look. I LOVE the white shirt tucked in and rolled up... such a classic style that's so timeless. I love the incorporation of trends with classic pieces, such a great play and expression of dichotomy. Which is what women (and men) of a particular age are, right? Layers of fun and business, revealing and mysterious, etc. BTW... warm colors look great against your complexion, like that warm brown faux fur coat.
Great tips, Erin! Thanks for renewing my motivation in this uncertain time. Loved the luxe faux fur pieces and the button tips (designer "button" necklace; changing to luxe-looking buttons). Keep it up! 👍
You helped me sooo much these last two years since I first found you! I wanted to be hot and beautiful even though I was in my mid-40s, but I didn’t know how to pull it off! Not anymore! You are so sweet! Thank you for sharing! I'm thrilled that my content has been so helpful! xo
I so second the motion!
Your outfit that you wrote about sounds awesome!
I’m 40 and I feel the same! Been working out so I can feel good in these new looks! Feel like I’m alive again!

Erin has been killing it with the content lately!
Thank you, Jordan! That's so kind of you! xo
Yes! This is my favorite by far.
Hasn't she though!
Yes she has!
Amen sister...the one most important style tip my mom taught me was “confidence”...if you wear it, own it!!
🙏🏻 for you and your family 🌞😃🌻
I love that, Maureen! She was absolutely correct...what a great lesson! xo
Your opening line was hilarious. You had me at "I want to look sloppy & poor" I actually work with ladies who say something similar "I want to be comfortable & I don't care what others think". I say to them, well you are rocking that. Hey too each her own. LOVE this video!!!

You're so welcome, Barbara! It is a quick and easy fix. xo

I read an article about adding color, pattern, texture, and shine to elevate your wardrobe, making it look more interesting. This video hits on some of those tips and...it really works!
I want to look sloppy and poor! I almost fell over laughing. You are amazing, I love you.💚
Thank you, Michele! xo
I love how simple/no-nonsense you are about REAL style. Loved the white button up examples...thanks again, Erin!
For the first outfit accessories/ tucking a t-shirt & a hat made huge difference
I am in love with all of your tips and tricks for everything, Erin!! So in love with the puffy sleeve that is happening right now! You have helped me elevate my style to a place that I am so in love with now! :) Thank you! Good luck in the house move. Sending loads of positive vibes to you and your family.
Thank you, Amanda...we are settling in! xo
Erin … you’re not just a blogger .. you are a FASHION TEACHER 👠👗👜👢🥇
Wow, thank you SO much for your kind words! SO glad you are here and enjoying my tips. xo
Oh Erin..you just keep putting out the best videos. You have helped me regain my confidence. Thank you🥰
Really like how you explain things. The examples of before and after. Your word choice is perfect. Energy is infectious. Keep up the great work 👍🏼
Thank you SO much, Rebecca! xo
Another fabulous video! I love mixing higher end accessories to elevate a simple outfit. Those rich colors do say WOW without having to try!
POW! POW! POW! Great tip after great tip and showing the before and after really drives the point home! Thanks for all your work on this: you are a blessing!

Love this video Erin! I find stylish, expensive looking clothing styling is similar to interior design (my love) styling. Classic colors, texture and balance mixed with pops of trends!❤️
Thank you, Lisa! I agree...a lot of the same principles apply. xo
I often change out the buttons, not only on jackets but coats as well. I usually try and find vintage looking buttons and they look fantastic!
I love that, Anglea! xo

Thank you for this video to share with my daughters. The content takes me back to what my mother preached and critiqued me growing up. I’m 67yrs old.
Wonderful! I appreciate you sharing my video! xo

Very true...Thank you for sharing! xo
Interesting

She bought one a few years back (the basic black one) from the Nordy Anniversary sale and I could not wrap my mind around the price. The last 2 sales I haven’t loved them and I’ve been kicking myself for not snagging that black one up!! Glad you got one and love it! I’m keeping my eyes peeled! 🤞🏼
I'm so glad, Heather! That's amazing! xo
I wear my designer belt, bag, nice shoes with my Old Navy clothes lol. I just ordered that Express blazer (through Rakuten of course) and will be ordering new buttons!
Perfect! xo
I have imitation handbags that look similar to expensive ones and they still look good.
Where did you find the imitation designer bags?
Please share with us
That's great, Joan! xo
I want to swap out the buttons on my cardigan
I swear you could make a garbage bag look chic and modern AF. I love how you present your videos. I am more of a designer gal so I would love to see more designer/ high end videos if I could be so bold and make a request. Another Erin video and totally crushed it!!!
Thank you, Theresa! SO glad you like them...I try to sprinkle in high end pieces into most of my videos. xo
Thank you Erin 🌹 clothes looks amazing very rich .Great trick about the buttons switching ..Love it ❤ xx
Your videos are getting better and better in regardes to content. Love the side by side comparisons - game changers and so useful to understand what you are trying to say. Thank you!
Glad you like them, Mariane! Thank you SO much! xo
great tips and tricks! thinking of you all while you transition to the rental while creating your dream home! Peace to you all!
Thank you so much, Melissa! That means so much to me! xo
We are going into Summer in Australia but still loving all your great tips. Thanks again Erin ☀️
I'm SO glad, Patricia...and a little jealous! xo
Poshmark is my go to for designer bags. I’ve scored so many that are brand new or like new condition for a fraction.
That's fantastic! The preloved market is a great place to find quality pieces at a great price! xo
Thank you bc I'm 48 and been trying to change my wardrobe. This have been the best styling tip advice ever. My first time to your channel. I hit subscribe right away before I started watching I knew you were going to bring it on!!! Two snaps and twirl you go girl!!!
Distressed jeans will never look classy, but a white button-down shirt will always look classy.
Depends..........
Not classy, but cool. 😆
You're so welcome, Carolina! xo
Thank you for keeping it real not everyone can afford a wardrobe full of designer brands. I’ve been binge watching your videos. I like your style and I’m also the same age! Best wishes from the UK 😊
You are so welcome, Jenny! xo
This is the style i like for cloths i have alot i got as gift. I never thought it makes u look expensive i thought it was just formal.
Fabulous video Erin full of amazing tips!! I'm going to swap out a few buttons - I love that idea!! And standing up straight and having confidence was a reminder I needed today! Thank you!!!
Thank you, Kelly! SO glad...It is an important message that we need to hear from time to time! xo
Love this video Erin! Just simple adjustments can make all the difference! I love my Kobi Halperin puff sleeve black blazer too! It’s definitely one of my luxury investment pieces. 🥰💖
It's amazing how little adjustments can make a huge impact! xo
That puff sleeve white button up would look so nice with the double buckle Alexander McQueen belt ♥♥♥ or any cool belt really. Great info, love your style!
I totally agree, Stacy! xo
Thank you for sharing, Jennifer! xo
Hello again Erin,
🍁🍂 HAPPY FALL 🍂🍁
Loved this video so much.
Jammed packed with fashion info 👗
I did exactly what you suggested....I changed the buttons on one of my blazers.
I added my " metal brass with anchors buttons" to a newer blazer I wasn't wearing much.
Now......It's my favourite ~ go to piece~ Your hard work and information is beyond helpful.
Great work Erin and Thank you.....🙋🏼👍🏻
I'm so glad, Linn! xo
Another great video Erin. I just purchased a black blazer with beautiful structure and fit. However,I didn’t like the button so I ordered metal ones and it truly made a huge difference 😊
That's great! It makes such a huge difference! xo
THE BEST! Loving what you've been doing lately. You are the BOSS LADY extraordinaire! Beautiful woman and inspiring. Love from 54 years old here in NYC. I was feeling a bit lost with my style till I found you! xo
Thank you SO much...You are so sweet! xo
I have a chloe bag, coach etc...but my favorite purchase is my PRADA sunglasses from goodwill for 1.99! (Yes they've been authenticated) I'm going to put my prescription lenses in them. So fun!!! Love your chanel🙂
That is awesome, Beth! Great find! xo
I just ordered that express jacket and the button swap is a great idea! I've gotten some really great tips. I'm obsessed with an elevated white button up.
Yay! I hope that you love it! xo
On my husband’s account but that white blouse with the stand up collar would drive me nuts! Love the white blouse you are wearing!
Thank you SO much, Sarah! I always say...spend 80% of your budget on your basics and 20% on the fun/trendy pieces. xo
Spend the most on the pieces that you will wear the most. This is usually accessories (shoes, belt, handbag) or outerwear. I hope this helps. xo
@@BusbeeStyle it does!!! Thank you!!!
Finding pieces to match my age that are trendy, like the teddy bear jackets, is a challenges sometimes. I love those looks, but feel they look so young. Loving all your tips Erin, THANK YOU!!💗
You always do it right! Great tips and I love that you show us how they look!
Thanks so much, Carrie! xo
Loved the chanel button as a necklace idea! The site above was mostly sold out but I found two vintage chanel buttons on ETSY for $25 that I should be able to turn into necklaces (one for me and one for my sis) thanks for the great tip!
Great idea, Sarah! xo
Erin your videos are so dangerous because I always end up purchasing items when I watch! 😉😘🙌 so many great tips.
I know how it goes. SO glad you enjoy these, Catherine! xo
I LOVED the trendy/posh looks. The first one reminds me of Gwen Stefanis style. She’s my style icon. I wish you would do an episode about her. She’s another 50+ woman that has AMAZING style!
I agree...She is fabulous! xo
Great video Erin! I like the button changing idea, in fact I just purchased new buttons for a thrifted cashmere cardigan. I bought simple charcoal buttons to replace 6 different buttons! I guess that was a thing at one time.
Erin I have been hooked to your video's for year and half and enjoyed all of them. You are smart when it come to make sense and be strategics.
Thank you so much for your support of my channel, Yeghine! xo
And I would add clean, well styled hair, make up if you wear it and a smile all adds to your confidence!
wow that veronica beard leather blazer is just awesome (never heard about it), i googled it. and they are 1500 euros. definitely not a budget piece unfortunately, but awesome. you have really-really nice content even if i am just 27 ;) actually in my country (middle europe) the most difficult is to get nice basic pieces. eg. a white sleeveles top you are wearing at the beginning of the vid is something i ve been looking for years now and would really happy to have it :D same with basic white shirts and tee. still looking for the perfect one:D last summer i ve bought 5 white t-shirt but none of them worked out :D maybe the problem roots in me :D
I'm so glad you liked this one, Helen! I'm a big fan of the Express jackets. They have such a similar look for a fraction of the price. xo
I love the way you talk and empower women. Confidence is key 🥰😍
Bought Hermes belt few months ago, and still wearing it 2-3 times almost every week. This was the best investment piece of this year, so far😉
Couldn't agree more! xo
Same here! Still waiting!
I got the checklist but no newsletters! I checked my junk mail too. Have you done that also?
Send an email. I’m sure she’ll send out the link. I need to do the same 🙂
Congratulations Renee! If you signed up for my newsletter, but didn't get the basics checklists, send me an email: erin@busbeestyle.com
Oh wow! Congratulations!
I think necklaces are so 80s...maybe a bracelet or 1 ring with those awsum style tips with wardrobe❤
Your videos are GOLD. Thanks Erin.
Basically, just wear a third piece, jacket of some kind :) And monochrome, neutral, classic pieces. Love Rakuten :)
A third piece is such a quick and easy way to look elegant as are monochromatic looks. xo
Rakuten is similar, but is just for cash back. xo
@@BusbeeStyle Thank you, I understand! 💕
Erin, you keep nailing these videos!! I loved your ideas!! 💕
Excellent! I really love this video! Whereas I don't buy these expensive brands that you show, you make it so that I can look for something that is similar in a less expensive Target type situation. Thanks
You are so welcome, Teresa! That's exactly the right approach...use these pieces as inspiration and then find similar versions that work for you! xo
Thank you so much, Diana! I'm so glad that you find my content so helpful! xo
You're glowing in this video, Erin!
Thank you SO much! xo
Thank you SO much! Here is a link to my blouse: rstyle.me/+w19CP2wr7MKQDSWePfB4Zw
Another outstanding video! Thank you, Erin and team for working so hard. xo
You are SO sweet, Christine! Thank you! xo
Wow! So many great tips! Thank you, Erin.
I am not rich, but I sure look like, because all the tips you are giving on this video I already apply in my life, I love sunglass, hats, scarves, belts, and jelwery, thank you Busbee for reinforcing this trends
You're so welcome. Antonia! xo
I feel like your tips really work with skinny jeans! Skinny jeans make everything look put together. Can you do a similar video but with bootcut/flare/palazzo pants? I always struggle to style large pants
Edit: great video! Thank you
Thank you! I've been peppering in some more looks with baggy, loose fitting, and flare pants in a bunch of recent videos. I will be continuing to do so since there are so many more options available this season. xo
You look great!! Great tips. When I watch your videos, it’s never a waste of time. Thanks!
Glad you like them! That's SO sweet of you to say, Patricia! xo
Great video especially love that u offer designer and budget friendly options !! That steamer is fantastic!! What’s going on with handbag 👜??? I can’t wait 😊.
I'm so glad you enjoyed this Giakoumina! I will update you on the bag as soon as I receive my samples back. Thank you for asking...I'm so excited! xo
Love the white blouse you’re wearing! Can you send a link?
Sure Roberta! rstyle.me/+2ubKcO3nSzIvCsxGlSG67A
Erin can make rags look luxe. It does hurt to be tall, thin and blonde!
So true, Stacy! Thank you for sharing! xo
Thank you SO much, Lauriel! You are so kind! xo
Great tips, Erin! Thanks for renewing my motivation in this uncertain time. Loved the luxe faux fur pieces and the button tips (designer "button" necklace; changing to luxe-looking buttons). Keep it up! 👍
You are so welcome, Shirley! xo
That faux leather gray jacket!😍Loving all the visuals that you provide.
Thank you! xo
