Love your channel, advice, and style. I’m 61 and still love fashion and dressing classy and younger. Maybe mention that you are also here for the over 50 and 60 and not just the over 40! Some of us 60 year olds still feel like we are in our 40s! Your channel helps!

Erin, I moved to Manhattan (from Los Angeles) 2 years ago and I really felt the need to step up my style game. I didn't really know how to go about it. You've changed my life for the better and I'm so grateful I discovered you. Over the past 4 months, I've created (a rather enormous) new wardrobe, all based on your videos and advice. Thank you so very much for helping us discover our best selves!
Just one more thing I would add to be elegant, is nice manners. Thanks for great video, I agree with all you say, but I do like a red nail, it can be as elegant as a pastel or nude colour.
Indeed. I worked once with an absolutely odious woman who wore nothing but designer clothing. On her, the clothing looked cheap because she was rude, poorly groomed, and negative. My coworkers and I felt like a dark cloud lifted when she left. Phew!
Small kindnesses make one look beautiful. Let that person with one item cut in front of you. Hold the door for others and always say, "Good morning' or 'hello' to customer service workers, as well as others. Use your words to lift others. The lift it provides YOU is priceless>
Great tips, Erin & the last is the best! Even if one finds oneself under-dressed or 'outclassed' on a particular occasion, one's bearing & presence will leave the lasting - great - impression. 🙂

Seconded! (Or 6th?) I sprained my ankle last year and have been stuck in flats since. I was trying to get back to heels but my physical therapist (for my knees) had me do a stability exercise and it destroyed my ankle again, so I have to postpone going back to heels.
One of the most important things about looking elegant is impeccable grooming.. Truly important to have brushed hair/styled hair.. no chipped polish...Also your clothing must be pressed/wrinkle free and no hanging/missing buttons..no hanging threads rips or tears.. Clean shoes/boots..Anything done after that helps to create a look for the day.. No ripped/cropped anything and simple jewelry.. A trench coat can save the day❣️A smile😃 and humorous attitude is elegant and quite contagious...Have a nice day❣️
This comment is everything! Impeccable grooming is a BIG yes! I can wear a white t shirt and jeans, with some CLEAN suede slip ons. If it's cooler out, throw on the trench and add leather ballet flats, to spiff it up a bit. I am a watch girl, so that is my go to. My nails are short but groomed and painted with a kiss of pink. Scrape off half your makeup and PLEASE LADIES...tone down all the smelly stuff you wear..it's grosse. Brush your hair out and forget MESSY BUNS....a nice neat bun always looks better to me and looks like you made an effort. I'm not rich and I have about 40 pieces in my entire wardrobe and I feel classy and put together. I keep it really simple. I do have some forest green in my wardrobe. It replaces black and navy for me, as they are too harsh on me. And have a few dresses because they can take you from meetings to your kids soccer games, through all kinds of weather and events, easy peasy And smile!
Very true! So grateful that my Mum drilled this into me when I was little. I do all of the above and would never think of otherwise. It comes naturally. 🙏☺️
I recently started dressing up fancy EVERY single day. I got a great apron so I can still clean, cook, and manage my house while dressed in heals, and my life has changed SOOO much since I started my #30daysdressed campaign. I will NEVER go back to wearing jeans and t-shirts. Oddly enough my husband didn't even own a collared shirt when we met, and now he is dressing up all the time with me. We go out all the time, and not because I am just bugging him. He loves taking photos now, and our lives have truly been changed beyond measure. I love your video as it helps get people thinking about the way they look.
You are so right that most don’t live that “ elegant” lifestyle. I live in Southwest Florida and I still want to look “put together” elegantly but find it challenging due to the hot humid weather and the beachy laid back lifestyle.
I understand your dilemma completely. I grew up in Miami and it was quite challenging to look 'put together' when you were sweating buckets. I think that's why I gravitated to wearing dresses. I always felt put together and feminine. Plus it kept me cool.
Yes! Agreed. I just crank up the AC! 😂I’m wearing my new fall pieces regardless bc this is my favorite time of year for fashion.. I usually just pick a thin long sleeve and boots/flats.
Soon to be 61 and LOVE fashion. While my “dressing” changed since working from home I still try to look put together if I venture out. I will say self confidence is one of the best fashion boosters. ALWAYS wear my nails short but black. I met my sis for lunch & overheard the waitress mention to someone how great my style was. Most of my outfit was 2nd hand including my shoes. I’m waiting to invest in your bag!
Really great video! I love how you make elegance look doable and the before and afters are so helpful. I wonder if it’s really necessary to invest in a bag that costs hundreds or even thousands of dollars. The too long strap on the scoop bag could easily be shortened at a shoe repair shop for about $5. And there are so many great vegan leather, elegant looking bags that are dupes for the more expensive designer bags out there. Marshall’s, TJ Maxx, DSW and Amazon are good places to look. Showing the designer bags is great though because it helps me know what to look for in a dupe! Thank you for your awesome tips!
Thank you, Eileen! I don't feel as though it is necessary to invest thousands into a designer handbag unless you want to, however I do feel like it's important to have a well made elegant handbag. xo
So so grateful that this 58 year old subscribed to your channel some time ago and have followed your timeless styling tips ever since. Each time I think your videos cannot get any better guess what? THEY DO.
Love the last tip as one of the most important. When I went through the darkest days of my life, and no one knew I was going through them, it all had to do with the way I was presenting myself. I held my head up high, I smiled, I wore make up and did my hair every day, and even though on the inside I felt miserable on the outside I present it something extremely different!
Love, love this. Beautiful ideas. I love scarves in the winter. I get compliments all.the.time when I just add a scarf. It takes a blah outfit to the next level!
Yes! 🏆 Millions of women are searching for info on “how to look classy, elegant, expensive (vs cheap)”...But most of these women are also on a budget, so a series that considers this constraint is pure gold. Vid suggestion for this series: How to make/select vintage pieces look elegant (vs tired/sad).
I LOVE how practical you are!!! 🙌🏻🎉 Your tips are so useful. I have watched very little of beauty videos on UA-cam over the years. You’re the *only* style guru that I have notifications turned on for *all* new videos! You’re like having a new friend who’s sharing all her fab tips with me! God bless you, beautiful Erin!!! ❤️❤️❤️💫
I love all your videos but this one really spoke to me. I love your practical approach to dressing for real life. Thank you for all your hard work. You are helping so many women realize their full potential.
I’m with you. I think adding some of tips like specific jewelry, a bag and neutral pups would elevate to elegance. The stronger palette is very much what women of color might select. Nevertheless, Erin’s transition is beautiful.
Once again - THANK YOU ERIN🥰❤️ Being in my early 40s and going through a few challenges in my life, your videos has truly helped transformed my fashion sense and styles and thus, have helped me feel more courageous and confident in my new fashion style and just become more who I am and how I want to express myself. More stylish and elegant than just rough and rugged. Could never do simple casual😬😅 Forever grateful to YOU❤️❤️❤️ Much love and appreciation all the way from Sydney Australia😉🥰 xo M
I am 79 years old and I love love love your tips on looking classy . Aging women seem to enjoy to much make up to much jewelry to much perfume . Please advise older ladies to not over due every look! We want to look classy too! Your suggestions will be appreciated .
I love this!! It is more about finding our signature style rather than wearing what's on trend. The more I go along, I realise I like (and suit) simple tops and A-line skirts. I just don't like fuss around my neck and shoulders but I do like drama on the bottom half. The trends can be so persuasive and also when they saturate the shops, finding what works for me can be like trying to find a needle in a haystack. I always remember the Coco Chanel mantra "before you leave the house, look in mirror and take one thing off"
Thank you, Heather! So true. I like to say that any closet should be made up of 80% basics and 20% trends. Only incorporate the trends that really speak to you and those that flatter your body. xo
I wish I'd known about how to style years ago. Thanks to you I'm making some big changes and loving my wardrobe now. Thanks Erin. Ps Your style in clothing is just amazing !
Love all the tips. I'm 51 and work in an office and love to dress for work. My weekend wear is also chic. I have a minimal amount of clothing and ensure that when I incorporate a new piece, it also has to go with at least 2 other pieces in my closet.
Just stumbled across your channel and I’m not regretting nothing of it. I’m so happy, your content is original and yes I’m tired of seeing all those clothing hall that demonstrate the wrong way of dressing for winter or not including the harsh winter some could have. Hi from Pennsylvania and can’t wait to look elevated with your channel advises.
Grace when I read your post it reminded me of a dear family member. My great aunt who has now passed. She always looked just right. She had a few very nice suits and dresses that she had for church or special occasions. Day dressing was always simple but sometimes very simple. She kept a minimalist wardrobe. Her items were excellent quality and she kept them a long time. All of her clothes fit her well. I think she had 5 pair of earrings. She was the Jackie O in the family . She too lived in the country. She was always elegant.
Erin- you go from strength to strength with your offerings, keeping it real and do-able- all the more powerful & inspiring because of that. You're a beautiful woman inside and out- love your work x0x
Due to a lack of time I haven't been able to watch the video yet, but I already love the title. I'm looking forward to great tips that are definitely easy to implement. Erin, it's great that you share all of this with us
I have really amped up my style since watching your videos. I’ve changed my style at least as far as being in public. I’m picking classier pieces buying nice boots and shoes which I always have. I am not a jeans and T-shirt person anyway but I have really found some beautiful pieces thank you for your videos
Hi Erin, been watching you for years. Just wanted to say how pro your vids are getting. You always give such a comprehensive, useful set of information. Love your show!
Loved this video. Thank you! That Alice and Olivia sweater is gorgeous. Although, I no longer work I still enjoy dressing "up" and I do it for me. It makes me happy.
Grettel Cousins '' I still enjoy dressing "up" and I do it for me. It makes me happy........ [ME ALSO. Even when am home alone, I feel better when I am wearing something nice that flatters me. It brightens my mood. Verses just throwing anything on.]
Yes! Posture is everything in how you present yourself to the world and how strong a voice you have. You can be dressed to the nines but if your slouching no one will notice you. Great video.
Hi Erin! I love this video! I find the elegant classy look very beautiful, but I have two small children. I want to be elegant but also want to take my kids to the playground and to be comfortable enough to go to the supermarket, cook and play with my little ones. Thanks for the tips! They are great!
Everytime I go out I look at yor videos to c what I can work with in my closet. Cami r one of my favorite u taught me that I can wear with jeans on its own, blazer, cardigan. Thanks so much.😊
Erin first I want to say I love your channel and personal style. I am a single mom and find lost of inspiration from you! I love the Alice & Olivia blouse you featured but it is out of reach for me but I have learned so much from you about shopping and duping hi end fashion that I pulled a sweater and blouse out of my closet and recreated the look this morning for work... I feel like I really accomplished something!!! Thanks for sharing your talent with us!!!
I love that! That is what it's all about! Taking inspiration and recreating looks with pieces that you already have! So glad you find my content helpful! xo
Your tips seem so simple - once you share them with us! I think we end up seeing all of the trends so much that we forget the ease and beauty of dressing with at least of touch of elegance. And tip number 10 embodies my catch phrase: _"No matter the season, no matter your style, you're never fully dressed without a smile!"_ :) Great video as per usual, Erin - thank you! Shannon A.
Really great content here Erin. Footwear definitely sets the tone. I just turned 60-0h-no and live a casual lifestyle but want to stay out of Frumptown. Don't want to look like I'm from Cougarville either. So many of your tips here are spot on and you model excellent examples. As a bigger size woman, I find scarves add bulk around my neck so it's an accessory that just doesn't work for me. Your opening and closing outfit -- the all black with white bow collar and cuffs -- I might wear a leopard 2" heel or red patent slingback just for a pop of color or edgy detail. That's more my lane. Considered a pair of ripped jeans but just couldn't do it. Felt silly. Love your enthusiasm!
You continue to knock it out of the park w these videos Erin! 🙌🏼 that last tip though is EVERYTHING 👍🏼 you’re so right!! Thank you as always for such great, thoughtful, and thorough content 🙏🏼🥼👚👗👠🥿👜
Most of the UA-cam “Elegance” purveyors are hawking a caricature. Few of us will ever need the clothing associated with old money. And as someone who works with the nouveau riche, I can confirm they aren’t wearing pencil skirts 😊
I appreciate your channel. Coming out of a sickness and looking to get more polished as I am getting out of the house more. This video didn't seem to hit the mark for me, though. My concern is that the before and after outfits seemed to fit completely different contexts. Before you looked like a news paper reporter meeting someone in their home and the after looked like the owner of several newspapers headed to a board meeting. I expected to learn how the reporter might add polish and elegance to her outfit to raise it in elegance a notch not jumping the whole glass ceiling to the boardroom. I did get some good tips and am still learning a lot. Thank you for always giving me goof things to take away.
Thanks Erin, love them all, you are sooooo right about everything, looking chic and beautiful is a combination of attitude, self care and choosing items that make prettier our attributes 👩🏻
Thanks Erin for all the tips you give us. It'd always lovely watching them. I've learned so much just from watching your videos. I think I've seen them all. Thanks again . X
Hang in there, Erin. We love you and what you provide to us!!! I'm so sorry about Chris. Sending much healing energy to him and support and care to you!!! ❤
This video really has me rethinking my style. I love colour and prints and my closet is full of this, but I also want to be more elegant, create a capsule wardrobe, and you can’t do that with a ton of pink, purple and green.
ReallyRho, I love colour and prints... AND and my closet is full of them too ^_^, but you CAN look elegant still. I get so many compliments on my dress sense. The trick I have learned is not to pile on all the fancy colours together from top to bottom. Style something flowery or luminous like a top with a dark coloured bottom for example. Play around in the mirror styling and putting outfits together and take a picture of it.. I do this a lot. I enjoy styling my flowery outfits.
I'm in Maui and furloughed from my hotel job, but that hasn't stopped me from being inspired by your videos. I'm the best dressed (temporarily stay-at-home) mom on the island. All dressed up and nowhere to go! It's fun!!
thank you soooooo much for finally talking about this way of elegance, because yes I being watching those channels and you are right that's no everyone's life style, I'm happy I found your channel😊😊
This video was soo good! Last tip is true. You’re right. Some times i see women looking so beautifully elegant but their attitude ruins it. Great info🤘🏻💖
Erin you crack me up with your example of the not so life of the party such a blast you are I really enjoy you and really benefit from you love appreciation ❤️💕
Loved this video Erin. You look amazing in everything 🔥🔥🔥🔥. These tips are great and most importantly practical and not pretentious. The most important thing I learned from you thus far - “Dress for the lifestyle you have” 😃
I don't dislike some light distressing on jeans but there's never been a place in my life for ripped jeans . Your photo demonstrated that the rips become the total focal point when they're being worn . Simplicity usually does translate to more elegance or professionalism . My thoughts on the Balmain or similar style blazer - I was impressed with them a couple of years ago when everybody first started showing them . Now I think they are looking a little past the expiry date . I hope designers soon come up with something new . Side by side presentations are effective Erin !
I love distressed jeans, but they don't look elegant...especially these because they are heavily distressed. I can understand your point of view, but I'm still loving the Balmain and similar style blazers. xo
Fabulous tips! So easy to forget how simple choices can make a world of difference. Thank you for the time you took to get this information to us! Love all the ideas. BTW, your skin looks so glowing and lovely!
Hey Erin! Thanks for the great video. Could you do a video on how to make puffer coats and jackets a little bit more elegant? I live in a cold, snowy area and puffers are everyday wear for us. I feel like a barrel sometimes!
Great video as always. Loved the side by side comparisons. Nice way to illustrate how some styles and concepts can be conveyed differently, and of course, one of them with a more elegant touch!
I hope you found some of my tips helpful. My videos should act as a sort of guide, to be translated to fit your own personal style, lifestyle, budget, and body type. Thank you for watching. xo
After spending many years and money at Saks Fifth Avenue working with their top personal shopper in the country, you are definitely giving great advice (except that puffy shoulder beige sweater). Looks fine under blazer👌I spent years being the best dressed, classy girl. It's amazing how people treat you when you are dressed well. Men or women. The red carpet rolls out for you everywhere you go. You are giving great and helping with before and afters👍Most of these youtubers giving advice actually NEED a personal shopper themselves! I hope people watch you instead of these other clueless women "advisors". People definitely respond to those who dress well. Looking casual or dressed up😉 Nice job!
Thank you! I appreciate that, Carolyn! Glad you enjoyed! Have you seen any of my recent content? Here is one that you might enjoy: ua-cam.com/video/6VTNVNCNzzU/v-deo.html
I love these tips~ And, I was thinking I got this & can do these until I looked down @ my nails & I had purple glitter nails smiling back & me for Halloween 🎃 ~ Lol! 😂🤣😂
I'm so glad! You can have fun with your nails, but it is important to keep up with them so that they don't appear chipped. Have a wonderful Halloween! xo
Love your tips and your honesty! Although I have to say my favorite tip this time was your last one with the poo-poo face attitude. That is so true. I think I gave myself a mini facelift from smiling so much on that one. Have a great rest of your week! 😊
Loved this video, you looked great in every outfit. I was hoping in your catalog of videos you had a mother of the bride or wedding attire hauls. Three dresses so far my daughter in law has hated... too frumpy is the common theme lol in her eyes. I am regretting agreeing to getting her opinion first.
I love this video, it's just what I needed! Could you do a video on how to dress and behave in a job interview? I lost my job this year and I'm worried about going through the interview process all over again and being our of practice. Thank you!
Thank you, Julieta! Great idea...It really depends on what kind of job you are applying for. I'd keep it pretty conservative, neutral colors, and classic fits. In almost all situations, I'd recommend a blazer since add a level of polish. xo
Great video. I had the good fortune to live in Italy as a student and learnt a lot from them about style. I'm currently broke but I still dress as well as I can by sticking to good quality items bought on sale, second hand or in tk max, in classic colours that suit my skin tone. I also try to dress properly for the weather ie properly warm waterproof boots in snow etc. People here where I am in the UK don't dress well, I'm not sure why, seems to be a cultural thing (people in London dress a lot better). Sometimes I feel weird trying to dress well but it makes me feel much better about myself and more hopeful and positive. It also creates a better impression and can lead to more opportunities ie when networking. P. S Since finding your videos I'm really loving blazers, I've realised they're such a great item to look more refined rather than always wearing cardigans.
Thank you! Nobody dresses up in my hometown either, but I love too! I do it for me and it really does improve my moods! Glad you are loving blazers! As you know they are my go-to! xo
Love all of your videos Erin. This one is fantastic! I always tell my two girls to have good posture (no schlumping!) smile, and have a little confidence and it will make a huge difference in the way you carry yourself and how people see you. Just found your channel, definitely subscribe! These are very helpful for someone in a work clothes styling slump and easy to incorporate with what many of us would already own! Would love to see a video on professional work wear that is still trendy and unique as opposed to pant/skirt suit.
Hi Erin! I would love to see a video on dressing plus size women! It’s so hard to feel elegant when your not confident in the way you look I would appreciate any tips!! Thanks ❤️😊
Erin, you crack me up! I absolutely loved your video here, lol! Such great tips, especially the last one. Your acting skills of looking doom and gloom were hilarious but you are so right, it makes such a difference. Oh, and the massive amounts of necklaces was also quite comical. Well done!! xoxo
Your channel is my fave!! I'm in love with your tips and also the Alice & Oliva black and white top you're sporting...but a $400 top is a no go for this girl. Can you find us a similar one? I love that it looks like a layered piece without the bulk! You're so stylin!
Thank you Erin for another amazing video!! Did you do something different to the collar of you A&O blouse? It doesn't seem to have the same standup ruffle...did you remove or tuck under?
Great video Erin! I wanted to let you know that although I am not very much a blazer wearer (although I have a bunch of them as I wear them occasionally) I was at Nordstrom last weekend and I passed the Veronica Beard blazers and thought I would try one on. O.M.G! The fit is impeccable. The scuba black one was my favorite but I loved the double button ones too. It’s. Is in my list of things to get. The option to insert the Dickey makes it more casual so I think I’ll love it! I could only try the size 2 on and I think that was the right one. The 4 in another style was a bit big, but I’m wondering if I’m in between. What size do you prefer? We are about the same size I think. I’m 5’2”, 35/26/34.5. Sometimes a bit thinner depending if I’m up or down a couple pounds. Thank you so much for all your style advice. 💕from your state!
You won't be disappointed! It's such a versatile piece and inserting the dickys does give it a more casual look. If you are between sizes, I'd suggest sizing up...you can always take it to a tailor and get a little tweak to get the fit just right. Also consider how you may want to wear it...will you ever layer over a thin sweater? Thinking about this in advance may help you decide which size will be better. xo

So true...Confidence IS one of the best fashion boosters. Thank you...I'm excited to receive the bag samples...they should be arriving soon. xo
Just what I need, love elegance but don't have the lifestyle to match! Thanks Erin 👏
You're so welcome, Marisa! xo
THEY DO.
Thank you! You're comment made my day! So glad you find my videos helpful! xo
So true...and sometimes even if we are faking it on the outside it has a way of making us feel better on the inside! Just an observation! xo
Thank you, Edna! Great suggestion! xo
Another critical element is the way you walk! So many women do not walk in a feminine way and this makes a huge difference
You are SO right, Alicia! xo
Thank you so much! You made my day! xo
I love all your videos but this one really spoke to me. I love your practical approach to dressing for real life. Thank you for all your hard work. You are helping so many women realize their full potential.
Thank you SO much, Anita! That is so sweet of you to say! xo
Sorry, Erin, I LOVE the red blazer with the pumps and jeans---much more hip and youthful than the bow at the neck with jeans!!
I’m with you. I think adding some of tips like specific jewelry, a bag and neutral pups would elevate to elegance. The stronger palette is very much what women of color might select. Nevertheless, Erin’s transition is beautiful.
The bow at the neck is more up to date with our current trends.
Thank you, Meredith! You are SO incredible sweet! I'm thrilled that my content is helpful for you! xo
Only incorporate the trends that really speak to you and those that flatter your body. xo
Great video Erin, one of the most important things to look elegant is attitude, confidence feel good in what you are wearing.
So true, Ana! xo
I wish I'd known about how to style years ago. Thanks to you I'm making some big changes and loving my wardrobe now. Thanks Erin. Ps Your style in clothing is just amazing !
You are so welcome, Patricia! It's never too late! xo
The last tip IS a game changer! It affects your first impressions to anyone, no matter what you are wearing. Great video!
I totally agree! xo
Welcome aboard, Jade! So glad that you found my channel and that you are enjoying my content! xo
Yesss Erin!!! Thank you! I have spent way too much on clothes that don't fit my lifestyle ( I live in the middle of nowhere on a Farm LOL)
I work at a farm market and wear zebra boots too! Def can relate! 💝
You're so welcome, Grace! xo
Me, too. It's called buying for your fantasy life. It's frustrating, isn't it?
@@susanmacaluso5218 The problem is that you ruin those pretty clothes, then they're no good to anyone.
Thank you Erin! More fabulous tips that I'm going to incorporate into my life! You are always a breath of fresh air!
So glad you liked this one, Kelly! Thank you! xo
Erin, it's great that you share all of this with us
Hope you enjoy it, Saida! xo
I have really amped up my style since watching your videos. I’ve changed my style at least as far as being in public. I’m picking classier pieces buying nice boots and shoes which I always have. I am not a jeans and T-shirt person anyway but I have really found some beautiful pieces thank you for your videos
I'm so glad, Cyndi! Thanks for sharing! xo
Hi Erin, been watching you for years. Just wanted to say how pro your vids are getting. You always give such a comprehensive, useful set of information. Love your show!
As always, this video was so helpful. I couldn’t believe how much the designer bag elevated that outfit!
A good quality handbag instantly elevates any outfit. It doesn't necessarily have to be designer, but the details are important. xo
Loved this video. Thank you! That Alice and Olivia sweater is gorgeous. Although, I no longer work I still enjoy dressing "up" and I do it for me. It makes me happy.
Grettel Cousins
'' I still enjoy dressing "up" and I do it for me.
Well said! Thank you! xo
I love all of your outfit combinations. I am excited to go into my closet and see if I can recreate any of the looks. I love all of your content Erin!
You can do it! Thank you, Ruth! xo
Thank you thank you thank you!!! Practical and elegant balance! What we needed!!!💖🙏🏻
Hi Erin! I love this video! I find the elegant classy look very beautiful, but I have two small children. I want to be elegant but also want to take my kids to the playground and to be comfortable enough to go to the supermarket, cook and play with my little ones.
Thanks for the tips! They are great!
You're SO welcome! xo
Everytime I go out I look at yor videos to c what I can work with in my closet. Cami r one of my favorite u taught me that I can wear with jeans on its own, blazer, cardigan. Thanks so much.😊
Love that! SO glad you find them helpful! xo
Hi erin, I adore you the way you explain every single thing. Literally no one can beat your style. ❤️
You're the best! Thank you, Hamna! xo
So glad you find my content helpful! xo
One of my favorite videos! I've been following for a while and this is one of your best videos! For the record I like them all!
Wow, thank you! That is SO sweet of you to say! SO glad you liked this one! xo
I’m learning so much from your channel. Getting dressed is becoming more fun and less frustrating!
I'm so glad! That's always my goal, Vanessa!
Thank you, Victoria! It's fun to push ourselves out of our comfort zone a bit, but if you are uncomfortable you will not project confidence. xo
I love how you make fashion practical and accessible. Thanks for being REAL! ❤️
You are SO sweet, Amit! xo
You continue to knock it out of the park w these videos Erin! 🙌🏼 that last tip though is EVERYTHING 👍🏼 you’re so right!! Thank you as always for such great, thoughtful, and thorough content 🙏🏼🥼👚👗👠🥿👜
Thank you SO much, Alice! That's so sweet! xo
Most of the UA-cam “Elegance” purveyors are hawking a caricature. Few of us will ever need the clothing associated with old money. And as someone who works with the nouveau riche, I can confirm they aren’t wearing pencil skirts 😊
Indeed, but would be nicier If they did.
Elegance is an attitude. attention to details. I can certainly feel confident and relaxed.
Who would like to look like the nouveau riche?
Thank you, Jéssica! SO true! xo
Thanks Erin for all the tips you give us. It'd always lovely watching them.
I've learned so much just from watching your videos.
I think I've seen them all.
Thanks again . X
You are so welcome, Maria! I'm SO glad you love my videos! xo
Hang in there, Erin. We love you and what you provide to us!!! I'm so sorry about Chris. Sending much healing energy to him and support and care to you!!! ❤
Thank you SO much, Kim! He is starting to turn the corner! xo
This video really has me rethinking my style. I love colour and prints and my closet is full of this, but I also want to be more elegant, create a capsule wardrobe, and you can’t do that with a ton of pink, purple and green.
ReallyRho,
I love colour and prints...
I just adore you! Thank you for being so raw and insightful! Kudos to your mom, you and your siblings for surviving and thriving. 💖👏
Thank you so much, Emina! You are so incredibly sweet! xo
"I'm not going to wear a pencil skirt to my kid's lacrosse game" lol Thank goodness! That would be weird. Ha ha ha
Right, Jennifer? It would be a bit strange! xo
I'm in Maui and furloughed from my hotel job, but that hasn't stopped me from being inspired by your videos. I'm the best dressed (temporarily stay-at-home) mom on the island. All dressed up and nowhere to go! It's fun!!
I'm so glad. My mood improves when I put effort into my outfit...even if I'm not going anywhere. xo
so addicted to your videos!!! I love staying trendy and fashionable. More videos plz!
You are SO sweet, Jenifer! Thank you! xo
I am 60+yrs a sz 7/9 and am still in the wrk industry. Need 2 keep fashionable. Keep those videos coming!
thank you soooooo much for finally talking about this way of elegance, because yes I being watching those channels and you are right that's no everyone's life style, I'm happy I found your channel😊😊
You are so welcome! Glad you found me, Amanda! xo
This video was soo good! Last tip is true. You’re right. Some times i see women looking so beautifully elegant but their attitude ruins it. Great info🤘🏻💖
So true! Glad you liked this one! xo
I have the exact same duchess Smythe blazer in red and I love it. Named for Duchess Kate when she bought two on her trip to Canada. Great info!!
The most important thing I learned from you thus far -
“Dress for the lifestyle you have” 😃
Love this video. Totally agreed that your outfits should support your lifestyle. Great tips, especially love tip 9 - epitomized elegance.
Thank you! Glad you loved this one! xo
You are so welcome, Amy! That's SO nice of you to say! xo
Oh man red blazer that v neck and skinny jeans!!!! Killer outfit, amazing look!
Love these classic elegant look videos these are my go to refreshers
I'm SO glad! xo
Hey Erin! Thanks for the great video. Could you do a video on how to make puffer coats and jackets a little bit more elegant? I live in a cold, snowy area and puffers are everyday wear for us. I feel like a barrel sometimes!
You read my mind, Lane! I am actually working on that video right now...stay tuned! xo
@@BusbeeStyle Oh Wow! Thanks. Am really looking forward to it. Here's to another 5 months of puffers!!
Great video as always. Loved the side by side comparisons. Nice way to illustrate how some styles and concepts can be conveyed differently, and of course, one of them with a more elegant touch!
Glad you liked it! I appreciate that feedback! xo
Your "before" outfits are more spectacular than anything I ever wear on my best day. This is way out of my league!
I hope you found some of my tips helpful. My videos should act as a sort of guide, to be translated to fit your own personal style, lifestyle, budget, and body type. Thank you for watching. xo
Do the second part of this video,Great video😍
Will do, Sandra! SO glad you enjoyed this one! xo
Thank you for all your helpful advices. I see myself transforming better and better since I watch your videos
You are so welcome, Christine! I love hearing that!
Great video! Love your advice. Your videos are so helpful-I am a youthful 68 and use lots of your suggestions. Thank you-you are the BEST!❤️
You are so welcome! I love that, Rosemary! xo
This is great. Loving how you relate fashion to everyday life.
Have a wonderful Halloween! xo
Absolutely! My pet peeve is chipped nails ~ 😌
I don't have a video on the topic, but I do have a post on my blog. Here is the link: busbeestyle.com/how-to-find-perfect-mother-of-bride-dress/
All cream or all black is very chic and slimline too.
In almost all situations, I'd recommend a blazer since add a level of polish. xo
@@BusbeeStyle Thank you! I'll keep this in mind :-)
Great tips Erin....reflects true sophistication as opposed to extravagance (which is understood by many as elegance). Thank you!!
You are so welcome! xo
Love this Erin, ty for sharing easy elegant style!! I love fashion as much as you do so I value your thorough content, xoxox Have a super week !!
Thank you SO much! You too! xo
So much is matching your lifestyle and I agree I have a few pencil skirts but don’t wear them especially in a pandemic!
Thanks for video 🦋💖
So true, Denise! Glad you liked this one!
As you know they are my go-to! xo
Thank you for this information. This makes more sense and seems doable!
Glad it was helpful! xo
Loveee your channel so easy to relate to, I’m 38 but your style is ageless
Thank you so much!! xo
Love all of your videos Erin. This one is fantastic! I always tell my two girls to have good posture (no schlumping!) smile, and have a little confidence and it will make a huge difference in the way you carry yourself and how people see you. ( I tell my son too)
Please share what lipstick and or gloss you’re wearing here. I love it!

Thanks ❤️😊
Yes, Bethany! We are working on ways to feature women with different body types on the channel. Stay tuned! xo
Thank so much for you videos 🙏God bless you! I'm stay home mom and I like to look nice but practical and comfortable.
Erin, you crack me up! I absolutely loved your video here, lol! Such great tips, especially the last one. Your acting skills of looking doom and gloom were hilarious but you are so right, it makes such a difference. Oh, and the massive amounts of necklaces was also quite comical. Well done!! xoxo
Thanks so much, Patrycja! You are SO sweet! xo
Thinking about this in advance may help you decide which size will be better. xo
NAILED IT! Waiting all day to watch this! Thank you!
you just get better and better .... your inner beauty comes shining thru' .... erin fan club
