I’ve had a Powerlix for three years and it was great. I used it for milk frothing at least 3-4 times a week. Just last week I noticed it wasn’t spinning as fast even with new batteries. Oh well, to get three years for a $12 item is totally ok with me. I ordered another one on Amazon for $10 today.
I have the bodum and use it to blend my wife's coffee every morning (she does the bulletproof oil and gelatin powder) and I just rinse it with water immediately, and pulse it a few times to dry it off. I think that helps avoid the fear of stuff dripping down.
The thing about those lifetime warranties is they know that actually getting work done or a replacement will end up costing more than the whole thing cost in the first place in time and money so its kind of an empty warranty. I never even bother looking at warranties for products under about 40 bucks as a result. They are all basically meaningless unless they clearly say they'll just ship you a new one (which I have observed some brands to do for products with extremely low bom cost to retail cost like headphones for instance)
i bought a couple and one died and the other is not really powerful. i now default to a electric hand mixer with one paddle. i will eventually buy a heated milk frother that many buy with expresso machines.
You didn't have audio of them working, all we can hear is you talking. We want to hear how they sound as well; some are really annoyingly loud compared to others.
Got the PowerLix from Amazon, put new batteries and it simply would not work when pushing the button. I exchanged it. The replacement worked for a year (i rarely even use it), and it one day just did not work. I replaced betteries, still didn't work. I wouldn't invest in this brand again.
Useless wasting your time best to pay for a good milk frother far better and better quality coffees indeed as they say you for what you get and they are crap.

Can we see the difference in the results? I feel like that's a pretty important aspect when comparing frothers...
