    This game is really number 1 for ship and base building both in detail and sheer scale... The logic based functionality and absence of klang makes things like cutsom landing gear so much fun.
    I really recommend you try and recreate your space engineers builds here you'll love it

    How far will it be able to go, I wonder? Can I build a 12km dreadnought without hitting a block limit? Could I tear into a planet so hard I could make it disappear?

    You can control the light cruise mode speed scale with the scroll wheel...
    This means you can gradually speed up and slow down

    Loved the video @Captain Jack! Can't wait for the next video man! I'd love to see an RWI Defender in Starship EVO, maybe even the F-203 Starfighters and the RWI Daedalus-class Starfighter Carriers and the RWI Saragossa-class Frigates as well!
    I have a New Ship Design Idea for you man! Most Military Forces Today as well as in Sci-Fi have some sort of Offensive Capability when it comes to the Hostile Shores of Today or the Planetary Forces of Sci-Fi. With the United States of America, We have the Wasp-class Amphibious Assault Ships and the Newer Bougainville-class Amphibious Assault Ships, the British have the Bulwark-class Amphibious Transport Docks and the French have the Mistral-class Amphibious Assault Ships. In Sci-Fi, the UNCS of HALO have a Bare Minimum in Terms of Planetary Operations when it comes to their Navy with the Front runners being the Paris-class Frigates with Proper Forces coming in on Actual Assault Ships the size of a Dreadnought (if I'm remembering that correctly anyway). The Galactic Republic of Star Wars has some Planetary Capabilities with their Venator-class Attack Cruisers but the Main ship that Purpose Built as an Assault Ship are those of the Acclamator-class. These Ships also had the Added Benefit of acting as Heavy Cruisers and Light or Escort Carriers when the need arose being able to Carry 192 V-19 Torrent Starfighters instead of the Usual 16,000 Troops plus Support Personnel, 320 Speeder Bikes, 80 LAAT's (66 LAAT/i "Gunships" and 14 LAAT/c "Dropships"), 48 AT-TE Walkers, 36 SPHA Walkers and 11,250 Tons of cargo.
    RWI has a Relatively Decent Offensive Planetary Capability, but it'll only be a Matter of Time before Redwood will need to Increase them so as to not end up on the Backfoot of an Assault and for that to in turn become RWI's own Answer to the Umbara Campaign in Star Wars. What RWI Needs are some Proper Assault Ships. I therefore Recommend that RWI Plans an Assault Ship Design Competition for the Community to Complete and the Best Design out of the Submissions will be the Design Ordered into Production.
    The Proposed Specifications for the Design that I'd recommend are That the Ship needs to carry either At least 8 F-203 Starfighters or carry at least 4 to 6 Wyvern or Vulture Transports, about 30 Marauders, 3 to 4 Keep's, 4 or 5 Tanks, 4,000 Troops plus Support Personnel and 2,250 Tons (4,500,000 lbs or 2,034,000 kgs) of Cargo. For Jump Drives, the Assault Ship must have no more than 3 Sets of 5 Jump Drives totalling a Distance of 30,000 kilometers. For Propulsion in General, no More than 2 Large Grid Hydrogen or Ion Thrusters for Large Ships with another 4 Small Grid Hydrogen or Ion Thrusters for Large Ships in support. A Hangar with a Carousel Housing for the Wyverns and Vultures with a Ventral Hangar Door at the Front for them to Rapidly Deploy and Large Side Hangar Doors that can also act as Ramps for the Vehicles to just Roll out of the Ship and into Battlefield is another Design Recommendation. The Armament of the Assault Ship will vary Depending on wether it's using the WeaponsCore Mod or the Prebuilt or Custom Turrets from Warfare 2; with WeaponsCore, the Ship will have at least 8 Quad Cannon Turrets, 16 Oerlikon CIWS Turrets and 4 Missile/Torpedo Launch Tubes Selective of 48 Small Grid Warhead Torpedoes and 16 Missiles with Small Grid Cargo Container Blocks either Loaded with Explosive Components or Empty while with Just Warfare 2 the Ship will have at least 8 Assault Cannon Turrets and 16 Autocannon Turrets or at Least 8 Custom Assault Cannon Turrets and 16 Custom Autocannon Turrets with the Missile/Torpedo Tubes still remaining the Same. The Ship's Landing Gear must be a Tricycle Design folding up into the Nose and the Sides of the Ships lower Hull. The Dimensions of the Ship will generally be 5 Times the Length of a Daedalus-class Starship with another 3 Defender-class Frigates along the Bow of the Ship, 5 Times the Width of a Deadalus-class Starship with a Defender-class Frigate on each side and 3 Times the Height of a Deadalus-class Starship with a Saragossa-class Frigate on the Top. The Main Design Requirement is that the Ship must Be Survival Ready upon Completion so that the Players can use it in their own Survival Worlds as well as Being able to take a Beating while in Combat.
    I hope these Design Recommendations for the Proposed LHA(X) Design Competition is more than Satisfactory for you and the Top Brass at Redwood Industries Admiral Roberts. I look forward to hearing your thoughts about the Design at some point as well and I'll catch you in your next video!

    Haven't played this in about a year... wanted to build tons of stuff, but was too difficult for me to figure stuff out tbh... being on an old laptop wasn't helping lol. Got about 1-5fps on it. might look into it again eventually, but its about the same as Starbase for me.

    Im not sure procedual regeneration is the right move for a space game because of the Performance loss. I would rather see some well designed city after a year than 10000 Planets with nothing but different coulors and shape. It already didn't work with Elite dangerous. Why would you make a mistake that others already did?

      Well good thing you aren't making this game then. Elite Dangerous would be nothing like it is now if it was just set in a single city.
      What would you even do in that well designed city? Wouldn't make much sense to build yourself a spaceship if all you can do is fly around in a single small city. You want to walk around a city, go play Cyberpunk 2077, I heard it's a pretty good game now.

      Don't need to be rude lol
      But i get his point, procedural generation often limits creativity and the overall fun of the game. Maybe not a city but localize the game to a single star system and add interesting points of interest across sectors and planets. Makes for a more detailed and engaging exploration IMO. Look at Outer Wilds, vastly different game but their approach to their locations is immaculate.

      @@salk9943 They could still have a Capital system with lots of points of interest while having other procedurally generated systems. You don't need to choose between one or the other.
