In your videos you always put the visual tab at the bottom of the screen when you are showing us an exercise or example. The problem with that is when I want to pause the video and study that tab thats on the screen, it's obscured by the UA-cam play bar, play, pause, the timer and all that. It's covering up what we need to see the most. I would LOVE to use more of your exercises but most of the time it's impossible to even see that tabs you are showing us, because when I pause the video to look at it or even take a screen shot, there's the UA-cam play bar covering up what I need to see. I watch all your videos and you've helped me greatly in guitar practice over the past 2 years but we NEED to see that tab you are putting, but the playbar is ALWAYS covering it up.

You can get real good with any size of hands.. You just might need to alter stuff.. Say if you can not reach real far, take the note you can not reach, and find it closer to where most of the notes are that you are playing. With long stretch chords same thing.. just play the chord with the same notes closer together. Some might say it is cheating. Is it? Of course not. It is all about being creative and playing what you want. This is not a 100 meter dash where we are all doing the same thing, to see who gets a medal. Play it your way! Musical freedom of expression.

Hey Bernth, not sure if you'll even read this but oh well.
I'm just now getting back to playing after years of hiatus (8 by my rough calculation). When I quit I remember being stuck on both technical and theoretical roadblocks that I knew could be overcame, I just... didn't.
Your positivity and attitude are truly inspiring. Your videos make me want to properly learn at least the basics of practical music theory, and what's more, you're explaining the concepts so well, I don't think that my guitar being tuned to Open C (I'm a hipster and Devin Townsend fanboy, what can I say) instead of usual E, D or whatnot is a big problem, as you're giving the methodology, and not the ready-made solutions.
Even though I don't aspire to be your typical shredder, I'm definitely going to watch your videos, and ofc - subscribed.
I now even more than before can not wait for my guitar to come back from the luthier.
    Cheers!
P.S. sweet dreadlocks, dig your style.

Really good content, as always, thanks.
    Two questions, if I may:
    1. For Patreon, are the courses/lessons/PDFs etc. hosted on Facebook, or are they hosted directly on Patreon/UA-cam? I love your content, but I'll never sign up for a Facebook account.
    2. Do you have content for players with short pinky fingers?
The second question might be harder for you to answer, as you have longer fingers in general; I just wondered if you'd encountered tips for people during your studies and from teaching others online.
As an example, when playing a note with my pinky on the 4th, 5th and 6th strings, I have to squeeze my wrist up towards the neck of the guitar, or bring my elbow further forward to allow my hand to wrap further over the neck, to get the pinky finger to curl enough to play. Constantly moving the wrist position around has a large impact on economy of motion and muscle tightness, as well as making it more difficult to make smooth transitions between notes - especially those that are 5 frets apart.
    Thanks again.

Here’s another fact: if you want to get REALLY GOOD, you have to play at least 6 hours a day. When you hear people like Steve Vai and other pros talk; it was all day every day. That’s how they have time to practice multiple exercises, styles, theory, etx

@BERNTH....I am a brand new guitar owner. I have an Ibanez RG5EX1..which my luthier described as a "shredder".
I wish to study with you.
    Can I..and Should I?
    Do you accommodate beginners?
I am a professional NYC artist , so I have excellent finger dexterity. I am also a singer so have an excellent musical sense.
