Wow, Nick, when you folks "get away from it all" you REALLY get away! I could feel my ears pop just watching the video. I loved the scenery, including the interesting little trees halfway down the mountain. I even liked the truck (what was that, a Dodge Power Wagon?) Next time you need to drive one of the classic T-Birds from your shop up and down that mountain...I'd DEFINITELY watch that! LOL!
Hey Kayeninetwo, yes it was a beautiful ride down, great view. I dont think a T-bird would make it. The road is pretty tough. It was a challenge with my Dodge Ram 2500 4 x 4. Had to use 4 wheel low the entire way up and down. Thanks for watching and being a subscriber. TTFN, Nick
Hey Nick. Quick question for you. I'm getting ready to order leaf springs and wanted to see if you had any recommendations. I'm looking at the Bird Nest right now.
I have always used a company named AB Spring. I have used them for 3 decades and their product is superior to all the Tbird dealers. Their number is 616-534-3399. They are in Grand Rapids Michigan. Good luck
Hey Jeff, we drove to Cerro Gordo Ghost Town and Mines, in the Inyo Mountians in California. There is a UA-cam channel all about it called "Ghost Town Living". This nut bought a ghost town on the top of a mountain and is now living there and fixing the place up. There is over 30 miles of mines there and he goes in them all the time and films his adventures there. Its pretty cool. My wife is infatuated with the guy and the channel and told me that if I didn't take here there she would kill me in my sleep so off we went to Cerro Gordo. It was pretty cool. We stayed there over the weekend. If you volunteer there, they let you stay in their bunk house so we stayed there 2 nights and 2 days and helped them out with stuff. Brent (the owner) was unfortunately not there so my wife was disappointed. Oh well. Its pretty cool and its become quite a big deal on UA-cam. So, thats what it was all about. Thanks.
Those are some great views. I've alwas loved the .amazing views of the west.
Hey Exit, yeah it was a stellar day so we got lucky with the perfect view. Thanks.
