As much as I see where your thought process is coming from, do want to say each of these fits skaven lore, skaven are very steampunk/dieselpunk kinda like the admec they are mad scientist which is why you see all the augmentation and the reason the master moulder looks the way they do, as for why moulder looks so gross it's because their clan is all about grafting stuff together.
