Вставка
- Опубліковано 30 сер 2023
- My pal James followed me through my print process to give you all an insight into what goes into putting ink on my pedals.
One of the pedals I printed in this video is actually being given away over at my friend Simons UA-cam channel @TUNNELOFREVERB so go subscribe if you'd like to be in with a chance of winning it.
Me and Simon also run a podcast called NO GODS! NO MASTER VOLUMES! where we speak to gear builders about their relationship with gear and effects pedals. Available to listen on all your regular podcast platforms.

Great work. I screen printed decades ago. No computers, so there was the added faff of exposings negatives and chemicals, lightrooms etc. This vid goes to show the amount of work that goes into a well designed and built pedal. Always enjoy the Holy Island content.
Still plenty of chemicals to huff just slightly less deadly 😂 Cheers Stuart 👍
This is so rad. I just got my stop! and had the zine thrown in and thought this part was fascinating, but it would be cool to have a video to kind of see it in action and voila here we are.
Cheers dude! Glad I could read yer mind!
Found and following your podcast.!
Love this! I used to do printing like this when I was at college about 13 years ago so it's cool to be reminded of the process. Would love to see a little tour of the new workshop / garage since you've moved.
It was my day job for a good few years! Think it will be a while before they’re in a decent enough shape to film, still stripping wallpaper and painting 😅
Dude that was sick! Thanks for taking us along with you, digging the background music also it really fits the vibe
Cheers! Appreciate the kind words 🙏
Wow your lucky to have a cool place like this to be able to go to :)
thanks for sharing this was very neat! LOVE this soundtrack also.
Thank you! Was just noodling on my Korg Minilogue 🙏
More vids like this!
Can do!
This is so great. Thanks for showing us.
Cheers Theo!
It's really kind of you to show all your graphics methods. With pedals the work concerning circuits and enclosures have a huge gap between them and both need to be pretty much entirely separately mastered. Vid's bound to be a frequently referenced one among builders, hobbyist or not. Thanks for the quick shout-out at 9:44.
No worries dude! Hope you’re doing well! 🖤
That was great! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome!
Cheers dude! 🙏
Nice process! - Ive been etching and seems a lot more clunky, wish i had access to screen printing.
I’ve etched a case once and never bothered again! Too long of a process when you’re as impatient as I am 😂
Yeah I just love the etched look tho, kind of like a tattoo, takes time but its pretty permanent lol.@@HOLYISLANDAUDIO
@@unholyaudiochannel If it works for you deffo keep doing it!
Great and detailed description of your process, thank you. Regarding ink and mesh count, what combo did you use or what is your goto solution?
I just use the enamel signwriting paint in this video with a 90t screen
Very interesting process Are you screen printing on pre-powder coated pedal enclosures?
yup
@@HOLYISLANDAUDIO I have been researching this for a while and I appreciate the video.
I would just be happy with the amp design 😬
I don’t reprint designs sorry!
It’s a shame cause it’s so good. But I can understand it 😊
Really cool to watch and see the top secret things 🫣
Is there any way to see a new batch of shirts coming ?!?!
Cheers
I’ll probs do some new ones once I’ve settled into the new house/workshop!
