On our quest to become the highest men in Jamaica! This is the hike to the Blue Mountain peak, with Reggae artist Buru aka Judge Abel as our guide. The highest point in Jamaica at over 2000 feet, this is not for the faint of heart! We chat about dangerous short cuts, blue mountain coffee, poisonous fruits that birds won’t even touch, and our odds of getting any kind of view as it’s rainy and cloudy! Will our 1/30 chance of a view work out when we get to the top? Part 2 coming next week!

This reminds me of my childhood back home in Jamaica. Walking, climbing, swimming etc. We had no time for television. The entertainment was outside. I'm very grateful for my parents who taught my siblings and I everything. Thank you for the memories Mathew

*Jamaica* is a very large and diverse island with numerous landscape containing rainforests, dry harbour forests, Savannahs, wetlands, lots of mountain ranges, 120 rivers, lakes, waterfalls, including several temperatures zones, from as high of 90 degrees Fahrenheit to a low of 40 degrees temperatures during the winter.
Take a trip to *Jamaica* during the winter months and you would see for yourself.....🤔

Hike the Cockpit country to bring awareness. It would be great footage to make people know and see the importance of the area, the people, and the historical significance. Its bio diversity, ecology, caves, water systems, etc.... Just a thought...
