Construction of 38,000 TF of new welded rail on steel ties and 18 turnouts on steel timbers for expansion of Brewster Yard to accommodate increased capacity.
That's nothing! It takes tough men to work in Akron yard with three food of snow. I know all about it. Not to mention working Collinwood yard in Cleveland.
Way cool! I've always liked time-lapse, and this was a monumental project both for you and the railroad.
Super, dankeschön! Hier wird sozusagen ein ganz neuer Güterbahnhof gebaut!
How long did it take them to do this rebuild and expansion?
Great video on the build out!
Good lord it must suck being up there with that amount of delay and bad weather lol

@Kerry Rock lol trust me I know it's rough anywhere up there!! I'll gladly stay south of I-10!
wow..look good ...nice cleaning
That won't last long. If it cost money the owner doesn't do it. Look at Hartland hill, it has welded rail sitting the since 2019.
very cool I like it
i like trains for real
Neat!
How long did this take?
cool. when did this happen?
What level of measurement is "TF"???
"18 turnouts on steel timbers"
what are 'steel timbers'?
from steel tree's
Railroad Ties made from steel.
They are steel arched style ties. Suppose to last longer. Knowing the W&LE they got them for free.
The track looks to be kinked.
They are curved. After the N&W took over they did slot of things wrong. There is also a kink in the south yard.
what is the train yard named?
Brewster Yard (Fuller Yard from Unstoppable)
Wholy crap, it only took them 12 years plus to do what I've been telkung them to do. But why wouldcyou listen to a dumb engineer.
