THANK YOU! for showing actual pouring, I was worried about overflowing small molds. Been bored to tears by other videos, yours was so educational and refreshing!
Hi Joanna..just stumbled upon your fab tutorial..can't believe its your first one..I thought it was very professional, and you explain everything clearly. It just so happens I've literally just bought a melt pot, but its still in the box as I haven't got much UTEE left, but can't wait to have a go at this the flowers are beautiful !!.Could I just ask where I can buy the Silicone moulds please? Thanks so much for sharing this technique and Happy New Year xx Chris Patterson
You would not know this was your first tutorial, you did a fantastic job! I have only watched a few melting pot tutorials, but I liked how you did not do much stirring, you let the Utee, powders and sparkles do their own thing, resulting in unpredictable but beautiful patterns. Well done! Julie (Canada)
Asia your video was wonderful and I am really getting turned on by the possibilities with the melting pot. I'm also wondering if you could share what kind of a video set up you use because the picture is so clear. I'm in the market for a camcornder myself and I just wondered. Thanks so much for sharing this with us. Mary
Hi Mary. Thanks for your lovely comment and I hope you have lots of fun creating your own melted flowers. As for the video set up, we have quite an old Sony camcorder, mini DV I believe. But I think the clarity is probably more to do with my DH's steady hand - I am blessed to have an experienced camera man/editor at home :). Hope this is of help! x
Thanks so much Chris! The mould I am using for the video was a present so I'm not sure where it was bought from. But Ebay and Etsy are both great to shop for silicone moulds, with many beautiful designs. You won't have any problem finding them, but you definitely will deciding which ones to choose/buy! :). Good luck & let me know when you've had a chance to play with your melting pot. Happy New Year, Chris! xx
Thank you! Very educational and refreshing video showing the actual pouring, something I had been looking for.
