What about the back? Does the colour soak through? Or do you have to do the back seperately? I want to make a more pastel shirt so if I do one side and then the other will one side be pastel and the other side be darker?

This is the exact look I’m wanting to do. I bought a tie dye kit earlier today, they only had the fuchsia pink and purple kit and I bought an extra color turquoise to throw in with those colors I may or may not do that but these are my favorite colors anyway it’s not neon but hopefully it’ll make a cute pastel shirt. I’m kind of wondering if the ice will really work? I guess it will since you made a few, lol. Great video, thanks!!
just bought some tulip dye! so don't mix the dye with water then??? just leave it as a powder? do you find you use the dye a lot quicker like this?

When using the ice for the pastel dye color result, how do you dye the back side of the shirt? You leave the ice on the shirt for hours, does the ice melt and drip through the shirt to color the back?
Korkie you have to look at the back Side. If there is no Color you have To add bake soda and then you put Ice and Color on it

Sienna Smith I think the melting ice provides the water. If you did water with the dye on top of the ice it would get too watered down and the dye would probably barely show up 🤷🏼♀️
