Truly the windblume festival made us forget for a while about the sinister melancholic depressing main storyline but as they say - "come back to reality. It hits hard"
MiHoYo's going to yank the rug out from under us. Look at all the Honkai Impact 3rd players, they've all got depression. (Not really, but that's the running joke based on events that happen in the story.) I've only been playing Honkai Impact 3rd for a week, and already 4 characters are dead. (won't say who because spoilers.)

Dainsleif got to witness our terrible parting with the other Traveler.
Then we got to witness Halfdan's parting with Dainsleif.
Lots of emotion whenever Dain is around.
Also I hope we hear more about Dain and the other Traveler's traveling story. I'm sure they talked a lot about the the sibling we play so when Dain finally met the mysterious other sibling I bet it was interesting for him and also terribly melancholic.
This last OST is so... heartbreaking...

The mission itself is actually heartbreaking...
Im pissed aether doesnt say a word or in this moment you cant hear his voice when choosing the dialogue would have made the moment more alive

Sometimes, I hope Genshin better make a super cool animation for the final game. All our money need to be put to good use

The depression
Who is right and who is in the wrong. Are the archons possessive of their superiority or the celestians who think their rule is absolute or the once destroyed khae'nriah people now abyss order wanting to establish a world without gods And who should the twins fight for? And who should we the players root for? All will be answered in due time my fellow genshin people.
We will be reunited at this journey's end with all the answers. I hope
I believe that the Abyss Order may be in the right of this conflict, but should the game continue to provide more information, my opinion shall change

The first track is amazing, Chen did an splendid job remixing it into a very suspenseful and darker version. Freaking love it.
Ok but do you guys like those cutscenes where it’s like extra detailed? For example the Osial Of Vortex Cutscenes
Hearing these motifs again in the chasm hits the good feels. Yu-Peng does such a killer job with the music in this game.
The first seconds of the third ost gives the sensation of betrayal, like if the song was saying "My friend has become my enemy" and the last part feels like "No, please, dont leave me"
MiHoYo really upped their music game for this one story quest, though I can’t really complain cause I’m in awe over it.
The minute I saw Lumine come out of the portal, I knew she wasn't going with Aether. This quest made me cry

Traveler Quests are like the Black Organization plotline in Detective Conan. They are good, but too few and far between xD

This mission made me sad that the MC isn't VA'd I wish they would just drop the pretense of the "choice" dialogue that doesn't even matter in lieu of just making the MC an actual self contained character in the world instead of an attempt at a player insert, this latest mission would have had a lot more impact if that were the case in my opinion.
To think this is only the beginning of what is to come... I just can't wait for shit to go down like honkai impact LOLLL
