I love the Battle Music of Raiden Shogun. The drums in the background sound like heartbeats. As for my interpretation, these are the traveler´s heartbeats. The moment where the traveler realizes that this fight is nothing compared to what he or she experienced before. This time, the traveler stands before a Goddess who exemplifies her power directly unlike Zhongli or Venti who are hiding their true identity and power as well. But the Raiden Shogun who appears to be an oppressive tyrant is literally so emotionless and thus has no fear in showing her true power. She would do anything to implement her idea of eternity, that is to say, there are no restrictions in her fights with enemies of eternity. She didn’t even seem surprised that the traveler is capable of using elemental energy without a vision. Instead she declared a fight against us in a secret domain. Only us against the Archon of Inazuma. And it’s the moment where the traveler slowly realizes how strong she is, how inevitable the outcome of the fight actually is and I don’t know about you, but even before the fight when we were running to the Statue to rescue Thoma I felt so nervous and literally anxious. Like, it kinda reminded me of Kazuha desperately running to Tenshukaku to rescue his friend who got executed by Baal. Naturally, we know that Thoma probably wouldn’t have been executed, but the loss of his vision would have marked the success of the Raiden Shougun which has a symbolic meaning. We were ought to stop that ceremony and had to rescue Thoma, but I was afraid of what would happen if we met her excellency. And after a few moments I saw her, I knew that I WILL HAVE HER IN MY TEAM firstly and secondly we will have to fight her. That thought made me SOO god damn nervous and it was even worse when I listened to the battle theme of the Raiden Shougun. It kinda captures all the emotions in the scene before, intensifies them and seems to also hint at the aftermath. Well, I mean that she is stronger than us and wanted to execute us which she also tried in the post- cutscene. Her glowing eyes, that convey this funny urge to fight and after the light of her eyes vanished just as the light of the vision of Kazuha ´s friend disappeared, she returned to the state of Euthymia. Showing no emotions. Only having the urge to implement Eternity. Hence, I concur with the theory of her having bipolar disorder or dual personality that is due to the experience a year ago before we, the traveler and Paimon, started adventuring. Though, I don’t have any idea of what happened a year ago. Perhaps it has something to do with what Miko Yae said when she was probably referring to Baal (It was something like „Only a deep commitment to his ambition to become the best made it possible for him to rise above the pain of these encounters“ (= Baal realized through many occasions such as deaths for example that Eternity is simply impossible. Everything comes to an end eventually). Later Miko continues: “When that ambition disappeared, he began to doubt himself. As he battled his growing anxiety… he slowly descended into the state you see him in now“ (= Baal may have doubted herself as well since being the Archon of something that isn’t directly implementable might be very bitter). Now, if you don’t believe me that you can just replace the male pronoun with the female pronoun in order to have a connection to Baal, I can tell you that this theory ties in with Miko ´s last reference: “Heh, Much like a certain fatally flawed friend of mine”. My theory is that she is talking about Baal as we know that she is an “Old friend of Morax and Baal”. I would love to add to the theory that Miko Yae perhaps has something to do with Baal´s state (because of the resemblance between her and the Thousand- whatever statue because this statue symbolizes the Vision Hunt Decree so Baals idea of eternity. If Miko resembled the statue, wouldn’t she also symbolize Eternity?) and that Miko Yae is the original Electro Archon herself (you know, she has got an Electro Vision, is immortal like Zhongli, seems to be very wise and could thus know the truth about Eternity as it’s simply difficult to implement). Suffice it to say, I went a little dramatic with the music and fight and all, but I really loved this Chapter. The music, the exploration, Kamisato Ayaka, Yoimya, Miko Yae and the Raiden Shougun. This is nothing like we experienced before in Mondstadt or Liyue. AND IT IS SO REALISTIC. If one left out the elements and stuff, oppression and dictatorship seem to be given emphasis on in Inazuma. There are still countries today that are quite similar to Inazuma, though personally I wouldn’t compare Japan and Inazuma in that regard (maybe in the past, but idk about that much tbh). I wonder if Mihoyo wanted to criticize communism by showing that Eternity is quite similar to Equality in many matters such as shown in the Inazuma chapter where the Raiden Shougun says that exceptions are the enemy of Eternity, exceptions that unbalance equality in a nation’s society. However, I guess this is a completely different topic and now after all this analysis, my mind feels reeled. Also, I wish you the best of luck wishing on any Banner. Please have fun exploring Inazuma with the beautiful music and seeing these amazing cutscenes.
Yeah, sorry though. There are many different points which is why my comment appears to be quite incoherent. At least this is how I am feeling towards this.😂 (Now, this is verz unnecessary, but I was writing this comment so fast as I wanted to continue listening to the first soundtrack of this video. Because it seems like if one wanted to pause the video or something one would have to either post or delete the comment. Well, I was like listen to the whole video. These soundtracks are so incredible and brilliant.)
tbh if the eternity part is MHY tearing communism "with Chinese characteristics" apart (to quote unquote the state propaganda) I'm pretty sure the state censors would be censuring MHY for trying that move tho MHY might be able to deflect it as fan guesses/ theory and they are not trying anything here...
@@PrograError I think that too. My theory is just interpretation, something that could be either true or false. I really like this because Mihoyo gives us the opportunity to just think about the game, the plot or the characters (e.g. sexuality, etc.), without explaining directly wether certain political, economic, ecological or social matters are based on those of our world. Even if Mihoyo had a critical opinion on these matters, they naturally wouldn’t tell us so bluntly as it would probably look like an attack on the Chinese constitution or whatever and that would lead to censorship of Genshin Impact. The game is very popular and lucrative, so Mihoyo would probably never criticize something through their game content, but the Inazuma chapter still has such a great impact on me. It makes me call certain principles and ideals of our world into question. To really think about it is mind- reeling, but it is also quite relieving, especially if one puts their thoughts into an analysis and posts it on social media. Which brings me to a certain question: Does anyone know wether their is a certain server on Discord or simply a page on the Internet where people can put their thoughts on Genshin Impact content to a discussion or something?
this is the first time we fight the fucking archon. Baal's presentation is so damn good and this music supports it. she show what an archon can do and not just from telling tales like Zhongli and Venti. if Baal is this powerful, i cannot imagine if we have to fight Zhongli back there
I'd believe he'd be holding back on us as a friend. We just CAN'T defeat Zhongli who beat everyone in power and experience. Even the Tsaritsa made the contract because taking it by force is not an option.
after all zhongli is the strongest archon there’s ever been. and Baal wasn’t even in the archon war so she has no where near as much as experience as zhongli. I think beating zhongli would not only be impossible for the traveler but not possible for Baal either lmao
11:40 is my favorite battle ost!! it's exactly what i imagined the battle bgm for inazuma to be like. i really like the part around 14:05... a little breakdown is very cool!
the Raiden Shogun's battle was almost impossible to beat, harder than childe or azhdaha, and I can prove that. as she started implying the 'vision hunt decree skill' and the 'divine judgement' I was scared asf, this proves that an archon has immense power, as you know, the last two didn't really show their full powers.
I mean we only survived 1 slash and considering she took the imaginary space down and tried to execute us publicly probably means it wasnt supposed to be leathal
It's not really a plot armor. They are gods too. And they were holding back during the fight against Baal since they used only electro. And they always use a dullblade even though they have Festering Desire.
Her attack that hit Lumine wasn't meant to kill her, she might have wanted to show the people of Inazuma what would happen if you try to interfere with her eternity by killing Lumine with her katana in front of them
@Jeff JeffersonActually the inazuma music are composed by yu-peng chen. He mentioned that he just worked with Japanese musican for playing japanese traditional instruments.
@Jeff Jefferson He never said he worked with other "composers" in the Inazuma stream, he said he liaised (basically worked) with Japanese "musicians" for this soundtrack, since it was the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra playing it. He may not be a one man show playing all the instruments himself, obviously, but he is the sole composer for all the soundtracks of Genshin Impact. All hail Yu-peng Chen, the Asian Elon Musk!

Venti was the weakest god traveler met, since ruling over their nations is how archons gain power. This was the first time a god showed that power a gnosis holds when you rule over your nation. Not only was it absolutely terrifying, it was almost the last thing the traveler saw. Zhongli and Venti never showed their true powers and they definitely wouldn't use them at a mortal.
Venti will join his powers with the elementally representative Knights when the time is right. The combos are what Anemo was always good at, after all :)

@@raro991 I really want play sekiro. But something make me cant do it now. Maybe this last year. How the sekiro music feel btw? how you compare them with genshin inazuma's music or some games with good music like nier or persona?
Sekiro actually doesn't really background music. Music only starts when fighting a miniboss or boss. However, the sound ambience, combined with the stellar art direction of the game makes up for the lack of music. As for the boss music, it depends on the boss. Here's my favorite: ua-cam.com/video/C_ywF3fp564/v-deo.html It's hard to compared the music with Nier's and Persona's music because they are fundamentally different but I view them as equally good
I fucking love how a lot of the battle themes' melody are almost the same, but in different regions, they're composed with different styles of music theory according to the region. Fucking love the details. Yu-Peng Chen is truly incredible.
I love how the battle theme 2 somehow conveys a story . The flute and the genshin motif represents the resistance and freedom while the brass, the tuba, and the fast notes represent the raiden shogun and her influence over Inazuma. Throughout the theme you can hear them clashing together although the genshin motif gets weaker and weaker with the flutes now representing cries of help until the motif is nowhere to be heard, symbolizing how the raiden shogun wins in the end. Kudos to Yu-Peng Chen I just saw this explanation form another video so I summarized it here
Baal: Disables elemental skill and burst, basically "removing" our vision, forcing us to duel her with a weapon instead of using the elements Bow users and catalyst users: did y'all hear sumn?
ok but how can we ignore how well made and chill-inducing the raiden shogun fight music is? like it’s such a mysterious combination of instruments and techniques, and the heartbeat and everything just fits so well with the way the traveler feels while fighting the shogun.
I'm excited for the big twist in this story, the gods being called archon which is like a new agey artifical demiurge thing. The visions being called their eyes. The 7 being named after demons.
I feel like the Archons are being used since their Gnosis are being taken away. I really do not want a big dark twist at the end. I would be so mad if that were to happen, I hate those type of twists.
@@VanessaV-b3c what if the unknown god was the one who made the archons destroy khanriah, and they arent evil but were forced against their will because that’s just how powerful the unknown god is?
Wow. That sure is an interesting theory
woah that took a while to compose
Yeah, sorry though. There are many different points which is why my comment appears to be quite incoherent. At least this is how I am feeling towards this.😂
(Now, this is verz unnecessary, but I was writing this comment so fast as I wanted to continue listening to the first soundtrack of this video.
Baal's presentation is so damn good and this music supports it. she show what an archon can do and not just from telling tales like Zhongli and Venti. if Baal is this powerful, i cannot imagine if we have to fight Zhongli back there
I feel like Zhongli would be hard to beat! He’d be sending meteorites at us and his giant spears.

I really want play sekiro.
Here's my favorite: ua-cam.com/video/C_ywF3fp564/v-deo.html
It's hard to compared the music with Nier's and Persona's music because they are fundamentally different but I view them as equally good
I fucking love how a lot of the battle themes' melody are almost the same, but in different regions, they're composed with different styles of music theory according to the region.
Kudos to Yu-Peng Chen
