"Bring on Project Atlantis!" -1997 Game Boy Advance, the thing Project Atlantis ends up basically turning into: Releases 2001. Those people were going to be waiting a while. On topic, they really should have put the Japanese DKL 3 for the GBC onto the North American/European NSO. They've put untranslated ROMs with FAR more text than that before. Starfy was an absolute nightmare to play through with not knowing what's going on (it's basically all fetch quests!). DKL 3 is almost all just platforming and the shopping basically amounts to "buy whatever the Bears have for sale."
Its insane just how many updates we've seen to NSO in the past month. I wonder what changed? On one hand I think you deserve a break from NSO videos, on the other I hope they continue the weekly DK games until at least the end of the year.
Doubling up wouldn't be so bad, but their timing is terrible. Announce something early in the week and then late in the week, that way we're not running into the situation of back-to-back NSO Review Crew episodes. Spread it out more. That's all I ask.
No new games is my guess. Nintendo treats NSO/VC like competition for their boxed releases. We learned that from the original NoA staffer in charge of the VC on Wii.
That one review that says there's enough hidden coins/bananas to keep you playing for hours is my gripe with the DK games lol. QOTD, Next one coming is gonna be something weird like that those game & watch donkey kongs.
Yeah, you've been calling it since they dropped the second one, so here it is. 😉 As for the question, sure, maybe the GBC version, why not, so I'll guess that one.
Will Nintendo ever let Cyril get sleep again? Find out on the next exciting episode of Review Crew! Jokes aside, if I had to guess the next DK game will probably be DK64, but I secretly hope it's Diddy Kong Racing
Personally I like Donkey Kong Land 3 the best when it comes to the Game Boy DK games. I like the interesting ideas it beings, plus the soundtrack sounds great. 😄👍🏻✅
I'm ready for both. And no matter what game Nintendo picks next, it'll have way more reviews than DKL2 and 3. That said, Donkey Kong '94 is way better than Donkey Kong 64, so it's not even close in my books. Too many people slept on DK '94 back when it was first released, so it deserves another chance to find a new audience.
Hoping for DK 94 for Game Boy, but those would be nice too. Given the pattern, we can probably also expect DK King of Swing for the GBA but not sure anyone actually WANTS it.

Donkey Kong Country (GBC) is probably coming next, as it's the bridge between the Land series and the GBA ports.
That or 94
I suspect Donkey Kong '94 will be next.
I'm glad you clarified that the gbc version actually came to the Japanese accounts.

Considering they usually drop multiple games at once, dropping the dkl games separately just seems weird
I'm loving these regular DK drops - potentially Diddy Kong Racing is coming soon too?
I sure hope so, because the reviews are really interesting for that one. Maybe even a bit controversial.
Donkey Kong Land 3 is great. I love the Game Boy Color version

so i guess it will be either king of swing or didy kong racing of dk 64 or the orginal donkey kong for gameboy next week.
DK ‘94 would be nice

It's weird how na isn't getting that GBC remake of the first one also. What dk game is coming up next st this point who knows.

Must be an interesting time for you, do you have dk94 and king of swing written?
Oh, I am ready for any and all Donkey Kong announcements they could make. I am seeing the pattern and definitely working ahead.
Hey Defunct would you rather have DK 64 or DK 94 GB on switch online next? Me I'd rather GB DK

@@DefunctGamesbig agree!
Mario vs Donkey Kong for GBA is next.
JK -- DK64 or Diddy Kong Racing.
