That's mean (Doing everything)
Driving skills.... nah. Just kidding man, I saw the car was wrecked. But hat off, I wish I had half your skills.
And Video editing skill !
Hot wife skills: 2:42
There is nothing average about this guy.
just found this master.. "DITTO" i agree with you... i have 65 Porsche 912.. haha.. not as pretty as his.. this dude is a GOD..
Flatten his nose & give him a set of boxing gloves....
Exactly what i was about to write. This is NO average guy
Its all average!
Dude is rebuilding a classic Porsche in his garage by himself and here I am having trouble putting together my IKEA furniture...
Actually he struggled more putting that sim rig of his together than restoring his beautiful Porsche.
Me: I think I have a stroke.
Jeff: give me a scalpel.
Average guy, you mean one of the most skilled craftsmen in the country. Seriously, I’m very handy but you my friend have my utmost respect.
There's nothing like saving an old car that starts as solid but somewhat rusty. For forty years, as a hobby I have worked with the air-cooled VWs and currently I am down to three (Gotta draw the line on quantity somewhere!) - two air-cooled VW sedans that started as such and another rare European model Karmann Ghia given to me by my mother some five years before she died six years ago. The satisfaction that comes from starting with a shell and ending up with something you can take out on the road that no one else has is indescribable. My joy comes from the stares and pointing from others as I drive down the road. Within the last few years I've branched into old Japanese motorcycles. I try to find channels like this in order to advance my skills and find new ideas. Great work done here.
Fantastic stuff. Like you say, there is nothing like the satisfaction of knowing that you did it yourself.
He just built a $500,000 dollar Singer.....by himself....lol
Nice car ? Absolutely
Singer like ? Nope not even close
But still a very nicely car enjoyed the video and mad skills !
@@a.w.366 In the sense of a unique bespoke car yes indeed similar to a singer.
Seriously the best car/build channel ever. You sir are amazing. You need like 10 million more subs.
Alex
Thanks mate. As I suppose you would know, getting people to find your channel is the main battle.
I write for altdriver.com so I'll make sure to send a few of your videos to my editor for approval on a future article. Your channel will grow though, its too damn good.
I watched the whole thing. You thrifty guy but you NOT avg guy, lol. You should've stripped the paint, left the bare brass emblem @03:13 and cleared over your patches. That Porsche would've been internationally famous. Had a 911 with the green plaid pajama inserts so I know from whence the Purple plaid comes. Great job. Lots of fun.
Sorry mate, I missed this reply in the craziness from this video. Thanks mate for the support.
Fucking sick!!! This is one serious dude. Love it man!!!
This actually gives me some confidence to do it myself. Seeing all the separate parts makes it easier to break the build down into separate chunks rather than going all in. To those who want to do something similar I recommend setting a plan of your build and separate it into different parts, then once you do that you can set a budget. After that you can start looking for cars. Personally I would've picked a different seat, since even when covered it doesn't look as good as I would like it however it is your car. Enjoy it
I don't feel like a man anymore
lol
Yeah, I've trying to figure out just the welding part, no way am I taking a part an engine, rust repair, paint, etc.
M4D5K1L2 I know right?! Making surgical preparations now to fix gender.
m8 if you only feel like a man because of the quantity of skills you know you should change your definition of manliness.
people see being a man as being tough. This dude show it through intelligence and creativity
Just subscribed after finding your channel while scrolling through videos. This is one of the best and most real channels for gear heads that i have found. Thanks for sharing so much detail and great content. You deserve to be a top channel. I will be watching every video here in Canada
No way! This could be the single greatest homebrew project ever! Guess I can just shut down my UA-cam channel and go home now.
Nice channel. The more the merrier I say. I am always searching for more great content.
Saw this on Jalopnik and oh man... this is some awesome job you have done. Congratulations! Subbed!
Wow, how long did this take? Mad skills: Welding, priming/painting, upholstering, engine work!, camera and editing! Excellence.
This is 18 months and 67 videos combined into one.
Deep respect! This is absolutely an incredible achievement. An amazing reward for such hard work!
How the hell can someone not like this. Great Work Jeff. Amazing what you achieve. Love everything from the home improvement to the fabrication etc. Keep it up.
Wow Love It. Really thumbs up.
Man this is Crazy, you’re awesome... salute from Dubai and wish you a 10M subs..
Thanks mate. Subs are going up but still slowly. Hopefully one day.
Unbelievable craftsmanship on this one. You are VERY talented to be able to tackle every aspect of this build .
You've done an outstanding job right from video 1 when l saw the pile of rust you had. Only thing I had tummy trouble with was the purple interior, but then again 'your car, your journey and your choices'. The exterior colour I love😉👌👍
HOLY SHIT I'M SO GLAD ROAD AND TRACK DID AN ARTICLE ON THIS VIDEO! Your content is absolutely spot on jeff, Seeing that you also have a rather in depth build series on a Datsun 240z is aboslutely awesome, I subscribed and I can't wait to see more of the 911! I'm off to go binge watch the 240z build series now!
I didn't know about the Road and Track article, thanks. Glad you are enjoying it mate.
OMG! What a phenomenal video! Dude you are a master! I tip my hat to you sir!
WOW!! This guy really did EVERYTHING himself! Massive props to you Jeff! Amazing job!
Jeff as an 911 owner, I am very impressed with your skill in so many areas,, I smiled when you then did your own upholstery! I'm even afraid to take the trim off mine in case I break something. Great job. I would have loved to see you do something different with the small chrome air intakes on the front bumper, but fantastic job,,,,all by yourself!
Man, so much respect.
You can be proud.
You are the man ! Great respect from Germany
Ze man*
I’ve been with you since day one! It’s been a great journey so far! Thanks for the awesome recap! 💪🏼
The man is legend!!! Only a happy soul could pick such colors and patterns. Bravo!
Nothing average about this guy...
I can definitely say you deserve more than 10k subscribers.
This is straight up #goals!
Thanks mate, although 2 days ago I only had 8k ;)
What happenedddddd? :D
I know. It has been a crazy couple of days! Currently over 790,000 views on facebook alone!
That's amazing. If only all us creators could be so lucky. You really deserve it though. I've done hardly any work compared to this. I'm sure your channel will be much bigger soon. :)
Well we reached 14K subs now !! Not to bad! But yes, your skills deserve them for sure !!
Jeff, you're amazing. Have just discovered your channel and am taking in your projects. Wow. I wish I had 1/10th your skills. Loving your work. Cheers from across the ditch.
incredible work you have done jeff. big project you' ve done there man. hats off to your determination. congrats.
Solid effort. Where did you enrol for man school? I need to take a course. Maybe start with how to catch a fish and gut it, work my way up through power tools and maybe driving a truck and then one day I could attempt to build a car.
I taught myself everything. Just pick a small job, watch a couple of UA-cam videos and give it a go. You would be amazed at what you can do.
I feel like a loser watching this... I need to add some talents to me belt.
If never seen something so epic before... Greetings from Germany you are a true Legend Sir, have fun with the great car!!
Wow Jeff really surprising how much you have done! Been here the whole journey! I rather watch home built then anything on television
Make one for me! Feel free to take 8 minutes.
It's amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love the colors used, inside and out. You can never please everyone, only you counts! From what I see you achieve through your attitude. Gidday from NZ 🏄♂️
I love how you continued the strips into the engine vent mesh! Car looks so good!
Making it look so easy haha
true inspiration...what the foq have I been doing with my life maaannnnn
You rock! thanks for showing your incredibly diverse set of skills. PS Just changed my Mag. Valve Covers to aluminum. Redid the bushings in my linkage stripped and repainted my heat exchangers and muffler. Rookie/minor leaguer DYI I really appreciate when you make a mess. I could really relate to your experience. 914-6 owner.
Jeff, you are a LEGEND mate! All the way from the UK! Love your videos and your passion!
Holy F***!
So is this a hint that we are about to see some more Porsche action shortly? I hope so.....
Not yet, but the Datsun is keeping me busy ;)
Home Built By Jeff bugger! as much as I have been enjoying the datto build, I got a little excited at the possibility of seeing the Porsche getting it's heart reinstalled. You tease!!!
Wow, you're my new hero. My BMW M3 looked a lot like your Porsche in the early stages, the body and interior work are great touches.
Wow. That's an amazing transformation, and it looked like you did it all yourself!? This video has me even more excited now to start restoring my own car... when I get the work space, that is.
...
Avg guy
???
I think anyone could have done the same if they are motivated to learn how. I taught myself all of the skills by researching each thing on youtube, etc, and then gave it a go. Most give up before they start...
Want the worst job in the world? Be this guy's video editor.
Unfortunately, that is me as well :S
Hahahaha Obviously he did that by himself too!
Don't pick the music
David Hill lmfao
That is the one thing I didn't do, and it is also the thing people hate the most about my videos
Okay I can understand the mechanical, body, & paint works. But upholstery and seats? Wow.. you got some serious skills, mate! 😁👍👍👍👍
I gotta give you props for not only mechanical and body work, but also upholstery. Nice job.
Interior is all fucked up. Horrible combination of colours and materials.
Amazing range of talents - welding to engine rebuilding to sewing. Thoroughly impressed and can't wait to see the end result!
Well done, mate! That is an incredible effort. Unbelievable what you have achieved on your own. Congrats
Jeff you utilised a wide range of skills...it is great to see the Porsche build in a fast forward video, shows what a lot of work it has been.
Talent. Gives me inspiration to keep learning. Loved his paint booth
Gee whiz that is some serious commitment and craftsmanship on show 👏👍
Absolute pleasure watching you restore this machine. Congrats
great video, must be very proud at just how far its come, all the hard is really starting to pay off, cant wait to see you driving it- loving the new project too
Very impressive, i do have to say i am not a fan of the purple upholstery , but i am still very impressed with your car and your level of craftsmanship. Well done.
You have got to be the most incredible mechanic I have ever seen! You did so many things I would never even dream of trying
You don't know what you can do until you try.
Félicitation monsieur, vous êtes vraiment un artiste!! 👍👏
Jeff, your hands are made of GOLD!!! I have never seen something like this...
I'm so glad people like you are alive and do this stuff!
This is by far the best upload I have ever seen on UA-cam - well done!
Wow congratulations!! you have serius skills!! , im repairing now my Citroen 3cv , first time i open a engine!! the boxer engine is so great... nice to learn!!.
Greetings from Argentina!
I am working on a similar type of project and I have nothing but respect for you!!! Cheers
I respect the work you do Jeff. I am looking forward to reach and discuss my requirement for new Porsche restoration.
No excuses........ just results. Congratulations on your build....... it’s beautiful.
Hiciste un trabajo incredible.
Te felicito desde España.
Hey man, I can't hardly change my car battery, and I see you doing all those different types of jobs, that I feel myself like a completelly dumb. You're great !!!
What. Just. Happened...? Sheesh. This is beyond exceptional. I don't care if you are an average Joe (or Jeff) or a trained professional. You sir are meticulous in your application of your ungodly amount of automotive talent. I mean...even fabricating a FULL exhaust of your own...JESUS!!! Can't wait to see more!
That 911 is lucky to have you as an owner. As a fellow air-cooled 911 fan and owner, I can't think of a greater compliment than this.
Thanks mate, I appreciate that.
I am really impressed, I used to do 356"s but, parted out a few jobs. You appear to be able to do it all.
Best 4 minute video I’ve ever watched 👍🏻 Keep up the good work Jeff!!
Congratulations!!!! You've got good taste!! Love the style and way things are done.
Love the Aussie can-do attitude! Awesome job and thanks for sharing with us.
I have never liked that style rear spoiler, but you show a lot of skill and this was well done.
bravo pour ces videos de ton travail Magnifique merci
What a great idea doing this video! What a journey you should be very proud. I can't wait for the finish.
Legend is what I will call you. You have to paint your signature on to this beauty, wish you all the best and enjoy every bit of that machine in good health.
You have true talent being able to do that all on your own! Well done!
I never saw anyone who could do absolutely everything! Amazing!
Just epic. A real talent you have there Jeff ..... Hats off
This is a fantastic video. I've always loved this Porsche. And especially in Orange. Love the stripes too. And thanks for having the cool music in it.
You have just inspired me to build my own 911. Thank you for that. Great content 👍
This stuff is absolutely mental !
So much respect from here .
You motivate me to do my own project !
Greetings from belgium and yes indeed you deserve much much more likes , views , subs , all that good stuff !

Amazing Jeff , along with all your other projects ! .. you are some guy well done .
The DIY paint booth is what led me to the channel in the first place. I'm glad to be here for the ride!
very inspiring. Total respect for even tacking such a mega project m8.
Amazing job, quickest sub decision I’ve ever made. Can’t wait to see what you do next!
I don't usually concede that I'm lazy, but it's hard to argue with this. Beautiful work, man. Thanks for sharing.
As long as you get out and give it a go when you can. Thanks mate.
This guy knows how to do everything. Extremely talented and experienced. So impressive
Holy crap, man, this is gorgeous! You've got some talent!
I REALLY DON" KNOW why anyone would dislike this.I mean this one guy did all the jobs to restore this Porsche. From Body work and rust repair, thru interior and painting the whole car in his garage with professional result(not in some mimbo jimbo high tech million dollar paint station) and ending with engine rebuild.WTF this guy did it all!!!
Thanks mate.
996 Page on Facebook brought me here but trust me I have watched many of your videos. This one is remarkable
This guy is amazing!!! He can do everything, even upholstery!
Sooo glad I stumbled on this vid on facebook, Im so in love with your channel and I might start my own project too!
Go for it!
How did your find this car and is it worth it to invest in tools?
Watched them all , inspirational Jeff well done to you .
