I'm a 60year old black man and this is my new favorite song. I have always liked the blues but this is super hot or as they say these days, this is Fire with a capital F.
It's all music, we all the same. We all human. C'Mon now, there is no such thing as race, just personal judgements. Blindly love everyone and be your own judge. It's not difficult.
I'm 75 yrs old and have always loved the blues. When I listen to Chris's music, it reminds me of being a little bit drunk and out on the dance floor. Tennessee Whiskey is that close dancing, crotch rubbing soulful music we all used to love. 😊
Lmfao.... I love this video.... When he stopped it and said... That's the blues!!!! And then he said ooooooooo oooohhhhhhhhh!!! Lmao ..... I frigging love this guy 🥰
No matter what kind of music you like...when we hear someone with true talent, it doesn't matter the genre of music, we recognize talent, soul and passion. Most people in the USA consider Chris Stapleton as a country singer but he is so much more! This man sings with soul, passion and pure heartbreak. He has pure Soul in that gritty voice with an incredible blend of Country, Blues, R&B and even some jazz drumming from his drummer. Loving the band, especially the harmonica. I think all music would be improved with the addition of a harmonica but that's just me. His runs are all different, and yet, each sounds amazing. I am not much a fan of country music but this man will bring me to country singing like that. There is another country, R&B combo that hits me in the heart and soul. Please listen to it and do a reaction, I think you'll love it. "Conway Twitty ft. Sam Moore - A Rainy Night in Georgia". You'll love me after listening to it.
Absolutely! And even that old time music was born from a wonderful blending of many voices -- many cultures coming together to create something bigger than any of us could ever hope to create on our own.
I love seeing people hear good music and see the joy in their face it's intoxicating and beautiful. We are all so connected when we open to doors and to let each other in
I just love his reaction to Chris Stapleton. This song gives me goosebumps...everytime.It reaches ur soul.Love , love , love his reaction...and now he's a fan.
Love seeing people’s first reaction to Chris Stapleton! You didn’t hold back on the wows, chagrins & stank faces! Don’t worry .... that’s perfectly normal when hearing Chris’s songs!
Just watching this black rap lover is hearing from our man, Chris Stapleton, Tennessee Whiskey, for the first time is in awe of him. Happy 😅 he found out about Country Music. Gotta love it!
Most of his reaction requests are more bluesy but he has 8 genre's listed but can sang anything literally! Hes got like 180+hits with like 6 #1s that he wrote or cowrote and has 4 Grammys in country music but he is his own genre!
Welcome to your Chris Stapleton journey! Chris is a unique talent. He is his own genre. He sounds just as incredible live. Check out his acoustic version of Barely Alive, his cover of James Browns A Mans world and so many more. Btw that is him playing guitar in this. Thank you for your reaction! Enjoy your journey!
He took it to another level because he only used the lyrics. It's easy to take a garbage song to another level when you leave the garbage song behind and just sing the lyrics to the tune of an all-time classic, 'Id Rather Go Blind' by Etta James.
This here is singing from the bottom of your soul, could listen to him 24/7. I always say expand you listening because we can find good in it and communicate with it to all our brothers and sisters. I guess that's why they say it's the universal language. Sing it Chris!!!
This song is real country a mix of blues, rock and ‘the truth’. It’s truly colorless. There is no racism in music lovers, a song can cross any color, culture, lifestyle lines
This song is on repeat at my house incessantly...and Morgane's voice is f'ing heaven as well!! She's an amazing vocalist and those background vocals on all of his songs are so dope! chills
Exactly how I felt when I first heard him, then his wife starts singing harmonies with him. Just perfection, the real deal right there shug. Cheryl from Tennessee
loved this! Country has got some amazing artists (and some not so great ones)... but Chris Stapleton is on another level. Absolutely one-of-a-kind talent that cannot be copied or explained.
I heard this song while I was helping my daughter paint her living room.. As soon as the song came on I ask her if she knew who was singing the song? I loved it and on my way home I stopped at Walmart and bought the cd.. I listened to the song all the way home.. I love his voice!!
@@NOTATTS Don't know if anyone has pointed this out already, but that is his wife singing backup vocals. Also, if you see him perform this live, he looks at her for, pretty much, every line he sings. It's awesome! ua-cam.com/video/IBLruNfUqUs/v-deo.html You'll also LOVE watching him play guitar.
Also he never uses auto tune when he records. Same awesome voice whether recorded or live. Fire away is deep song about a woman that is bipolar. Can't go wrong with any of his songs

Little back story on Chris he has wrote for so many artists for years. And finally about 5 years ago he decided to record his own music. It blew up so fast. He was at the top immediately winning award after award. His wife sings alongside him. Him and Just Timberlake are very good friend. Just shows up and sings with him. They have music videos together. Every song he sings is omg just unbelievable. So glad you loved it. You felt every song note and word he played and sang.
That's how I felt too when I first heard this song, like what rock have I been living under. Oh yeah he's talking to his woman. And man does he ever pour it out. And the words in this song are just awesome.
You like him on this? He sounds better live. He covered james brown "a man's world" he did this song with justin Timberlake at one of the country award shows. His background singer is his wife.
@david hall I feel the same way about Timberlake, but they sounded great and lQQked like they had a great time performing together...from Wyoming USA 🔫🤠🇺🇸p.s stay safe

I believe Chris was a old black blues man in a previous life. If like a good guitar solo check out Chris's I was wrong live Austin City Limits performance

Watching black people who've never heard Chris reacting to him has become one of my favorite pasttimes. Could watch these all day.
Watching ANY person of any race, gender, or nationality hear Chris Stapleton for the first time is amazing.😊
I agree...I love these reaction.
I have a similar feeling when they react to bobby caldwell music videos
Chris Stapleton is a Bluesman with so much soul! In my opinion, he is more blues and soul than country. And I’ll forever stand by that!
I think George Jones did it first! Chris kills it.. 💖

I am a 53 yr old whote woman and grew up with Luther, Marvin, Berry and Keith Sweat and this man Chris reminds me so much of them
Blues is just as much a root for country as it is for r&b and hip hop. Storytelling. Soul.
Love seeing people’s reactions when they first hear Chris sing. Classic.
Im just surprised at the people who haven't heard him yet. Either that or they are faking it for views lol

Now I'm on a mission to find all the videos of people finding Chris Stapleton for the first time! 👏👏👏👏
This song is over 40 years old. Chris Stapleton takes it to a new level.

Same Gurl!
A 71-year old woman can also get chills over this song. Trust me, I know.
