Fantastic video, feel like I totally understand the product now. Appreciate you!
Thanks!
Fantastic review! Very well detailed and right to the point. Appreciate that.
I have had the rhythm24 for a couple months now and I absolutely love it.
Nice! And thanks for the kind words!
Excellent review, and found out that my Scoche needed a software update! Great job.
Thanks!
Going to be a little odd to check my HR by counting LEDs on my bicep, but that’s the fitness tech world we live in ;)
Great video as always!!
Right? 😁 Thanks Jaden!
Great review Des! Thanks!
Thanks and sure thing!
Mine has a few bugs. First, it won't turn off. I need to put it in the cradle to turn it off. Second, the phone app shows it has a software update (button appears) but the update doesn't work (button is unresponsive). Others have complained of similar. Buggy product.
Does it automatically shut off after activity or being removed from arm? The one thing i dont like about the comparable Polar OH1 is that if you forget to turn it off after an activity it will just keep reading until the battery dies. I want a unit that is smart enough to detect when it sitting on the table reading 0 and shut itself off after a few min...
I can't turn my Scosche Rhythm+ 2.0 Monitor OFF - I have held the button down for 5 seconds and it continues to toggle between the red and blue light. Help!
Thanks Des!
Sure thing, Steve 👍
What happened to the universal carrying case? The link didn’t take me too it.
so this one has a hook type closure system. is it secure? I personally dont like the Velcro that much.cause it wears off..and it loud. can you suggest me some other heart rate sensors that use some kind of hook / buckle type system? thanks
What is the best app to use with the Scosch 2.0 for aerobic workouts?
@Desfit
Is it the newst version they released?
And i have samsung phone is it work on Android?
I'm needing to watch my heart rate changing moment by moment while running on a treadmill. Will this paired to my phone do this? Thank you!
Thank you for the review, would you choose this one or the new Polar arm sensor?
The Verity Sense has more features than this HRM but it also costs a smidge more. It may depend on whether you use those additional features or not. Two things to consider: the Verity Sense has two bluetooth connections vs the one bluetooth connection on the SR+2.0 and the other is that the Verity Sense has a velcro closure on the band that could possibly come loose if it gets caught on something. Thanks!
How software did you used to compare the graphics of sensors?
Can you see on the band your heart rate zones?
Thanks for the very informative video.
I am looking for a reliable HRM arm band that has in-built memory. Any recommendations?
TIA
Rhythm24
Polar verity? Pretty pricey though, IMO.
Qn which app will record your workout for 2.0? Knew that 24 was kind of off by quite a bit
You can pair the 2.0 to any device or app that can support ANT+ or Bluetooth external HR sensors
Has anyone used this for boxing/martial arts activities that involve a lot of arm movement? Curious if it stays in place if I'm throwing various punches.
Probably one of the more secure straps I've used.
Does it measure HRV?
Does this count how many calories you burned?
Will this HRM show data on my Wahoo Elemnt when cycling ?
Yup!
A question out of context! Are all rhythm24 chargers compatible with other models?
From the first model of rhythm?!
The original Rhythm charger doesn't work on the 24 and the 2.0 but the 24 and 2.0 use the same charger 👍
I run and weight train with my Gamin Tri chest strap and want to switch to an armband HR. Which would you choose, the Scoche 2.0 or Polar Verity Sense?
If the $20 doesn’t make a difference to you the Verity Sense has a few more features and is slightly more accurate, although the most 2.0 is still a good option. Thanks Joey! 💪
@@DesFit thank you! I don’t mind spending the $20 but I might just grab the Scosche simply because it’s available on Amazon, quick & convenient and easy to return should I need to return it, and free shipping. I wonder why Polar doesn’t sell their Verity Sense on Amazon or at least match the convenience and shipping costs via their own site. It really is a difference maker.
@@sandiegojoey1 I am in the same boat as you, which one did you end up going with? I want the Verity Sense because it has a bit more features (data wise) it looks like. But it will take 1 week plus to get because its not from Amazon haha, and will be a pain to return. Thanks!
@@mitchellvanicelli4176 I'm ordering the Scosche this morning, I wish Polar would come into the modern era of customer service but it doesn't look like they will anytime soon.
@@sandiegojoey1 Thanks for the reply! I think that I am going to go this route as well. Polar needs to get with the times!
Is this monitor compatible with a rogue echo bike?
As long as the device can pair with ANT+ or Bluetooth this monitor should work.
which should i buy between the scosche rhythm 2.0 or wahoo tickr fit?
Either would work well but if you can spring for it go for the Polar Verity Sense
The wahoo the battery cover is really hard to remove and ends up getting messed just trying to remove it, anyway that is my experience and why I’m looking for a new heart rate monitor
Can I run on Zwift with the scosche rhythm 2.0
Yup, it transmits via bluetooth and ANT+ so Zwift should be able to pick it up as a heart rate sensor depending on what kind of device that you are using to run Zwift.
@@DesFit ok thanks that helps alot
Sure thing 👍
