Its a hostel. And yeah dont compare here is everytime 5 times more even we dont earn that much. Poeple think we are rich but most live minimal wage. We never eat out
I am going there in 3 days. I will eat meals from a grocery store. My base will be in Zurich so markets will be plentiful. I have a Swiss travel pass. Post Trip Update: Everything went as planned. Never went to restaurants which saved 75%. The Swiss Travel Pass was a no choice; $230/Person for 3 days. Visited all our planned stops. Saved on hotels by sharing rooms. Always on foot . Used the Rome subways 3 times. We did 3 days in Switzerland and 5 days in Italy visiting Rome, Florence, Venice and Milan. Booking trains in Italy ahead of time will save 60%.
Sounds lovely, but $230/3Day travel pass, geez Louise… Anywho I’m happy that you got to enjoy yourself. I bet it was all worth it in the end. I would love to go to Switzerland and see all its beauty one day.
Are y’all poor cause that sounds like a deal to me … one person eating at my favorite restaurant is easily $55-$65 dollars and that’s not including drinks and Appetizers
Switzeeland has one of the clearest water of the whole world, u can literally drink out of every well. Its because of tje mountains they clean the water.
What does this comment even mean, I’m staying at hostels and ate at regular restaurants, this is how much one should expect to spend in Switzerland as a tourist if they are booking accommodation and going out to eat.
50 USD for a hotel is not expensive. I’m American. A $50 hotel is going to get you a room full of roaches
Not Hotel, but a Hostel.
Hah swiss people are laughing 50$ are nothing dor a hostel they earn ~70% more than american people. And the swiss dont have to pay so much taxes.

Bullshit, if you don’t try to get a motel in downtown town and go a little outside it gets you the equivalent of a 200Fr Hotel in Switzerland.
😂😂😂😂
The view though...priceless
great switzerland info share short

Do you have to tip in Switzerland?
No, in Europe waiters and waitresses actually get paid, but it's still very kind to do so and we usually are grateful for it

I always hear don’t drink water in foreign countries…is that just for like 3rd world countries? I’m American for context.
Yeah, that may be true in many other parts of the world but everywhere I've been to in Europe has had clean tap water!

Why when people go to different countries always act like they are rich? Never understood that
